    🔵 The "Traditional" Mayo-Based Slaw:
3 cups green cabbage, thin sliced
1-1.5 cups red cabbage, thin sliced
    2 carrots, shredded
    🔹 Vinaigrette:
    1/2 cup mayo
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar (or any other soft vinegar)
    Salt & pepper
    1 tsp sugar
    Juice from 1/2 lemon
    1/2-1 cup chopped parsley
    2 scallion, chopped
1- Slice the cabbage to thin strips (easiest with a food processor) and grate your carrots.
2- Mix all vinaigrette ingredients in a small bowl, and add to your cabbage mix.
3- Let sit for 1/2 hour or keep in the fridge before serving.
    🔵 Asian-inspired Green Cabbage Slaw:
1/2 green cabbage, sliced to thin strips
    4-6 Tbsp Sesame seeds
1/2-1 cup choice of seeds: sunflower, pumpkin seeds, pignolis, etc.
    🔹Vinaigrette:
1/3 cup oil (safflower or other vegetable oil. Not olive)
1/3 cup white wine vinegar (or simple white vinegar)
    1/3 cup soy sauce
    1/3 cup sugar
1- Mix oil, vinegar, soy sauce and sugar in a small pot. Heat up until all sugar dissolves, but do not boil. When starts to bubble a bit, and all sugar dissolved, remove from the heat and let cool
2- Roast the sesame seeds on a pan (no oil). When slightly darkened, add to your cabbage.
3- In a pan with 1 Tbsp oil, roast your other nuts just until slightly roasted and changing color, and add to your cabbage.
4- When the sauce is cooled to touch, add to the cabbage, mix, and let sit for at least 1 hour before serving.
🔵 Incredible Mediterranean Red Cabbage Slaw:
    1/2 red cabbage
    2 carrots
    1 cup chopped parsley
1 cup mix of seeds: sunflower, pumpkin seeds, pignolis, etc.
    🔹Vinaigrette:
    4 Tbsp olive oil
    1 lemon, juiced
1 Tbsp maple syrup or honey
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    1/2-1 tsp cumin
    Salt
1- Slice the cabbage to thin strips, the carrots to thin slices, and chop the parsley.
2- Roast your choice of seeds (one or mix of) in a pan with 1 Tbsp oil, just until they slightly change colors
3- Mix well all ingredients of your vinaigrette in a separate bowl.
4- Add your vinaigrette to the salad, and mix well. Let sit 30-60 min before serving.
    * Our tip is to start with 1/2 tsp cumin and taste after mixing with the cabbage, as cumin tends to be a fairly dominant spice.

Edit: Red cabbage, despite its purplish hue, is traditionally called "red cabbage" due to historical and linguistic reasons. The name "red cabbage" can be traced back to older classifications and descriptions of plants, where the term "red" was used to describe a range of colors that we might today call purple or violet. Historically, the term "red" was often used more broadly. Many languages and cultures didn't differentiate between red and purple as distinctly as we do today. For example, in old English and other European languages, the word for red often encompassed shades of what we now consider purple.

Amazing. Obviously, it was meant as a joke, but I LOVE this explanation. Keep them coming!
