John, I like that you are covering issues surrounding skateparks, but why are you making a video based on a rumor you heard? Wouldn't it be wise to do your homework on that first? And also, you set a really bad example by going through the fence. When skaters do this it perpetuates our bad image and makes it harder to get good parks. Look at the number of comments you get in these types of videos about how nobody has a skatepark. Barging the spot before it's open isn't helpful.
SkateRatvocateProductions a local spot here in dc actually encouraged skaters to hit it up before the official opening so it's not all bad everywhere. I think the folks backing parks nowadays know what's up 🤗

No because you shouldnt rely on others to build you things. Stay independent and build your own, otherwise you can witness them shutting you out of that park when ever they like.

Pretty stoked on this video and talk about new parks being built. I just got back into skating with my kid and upon visiting parks from my childhood I found them not maintained and just going to trash. Randomly ran into friends of mine who still skate and they told me how they tried to get the city to fix the park but they just removed the broken ramps and never brought them back. This has Inspired me to look at what I need to do to get more involved with bringing attention to the positive things that come from kids having a skate park. 🤘🛹

I was in NYC 2 days ago and I was actually blown away that like 1/6 people I saw weren't wearing masks and didn't have one visible. Saw people without masks renting out those Citi bikes. I live in PA work in NJ and service sites in NYC and even my red state is more on the masks than the city. I gloved up and didn't remove the mask for a second, happy to see people calling out others for not wearing them
Just landed my first Ollie today. For any one struggling, what work for me was sincronizing the kick with the jump, and jumping from de board just with my right foot, poping it and kicking it, make sure you poop good, ALSO REALLY IMPORTANT, have your shoulders parallel with the board, this change the entire game for me. I practice 2 weeks straight for 1 hour daily, I practice the Ollie before but no consistently. Practice everyday and don't be afraid.
hey john, long time fan of the channel. just want to drop a piece of advice from my past experience. if you are covering something based on what someone else told you, its best to make sure that it is factually accurate. that way you dont have to put a disclaimer saying ''so dont be mad at me if the ''budget'' thing isn't true.'' love all of your content across this channel and the progress daily channel and i was stoked to see nick holt on the berrics channel killing it!! keep up the great work you mad man, i have so much respect for how much you push yourself and how busy you always are. it really inspires me bro, as a 32 year old chef, i try to find as much time as i can to pursue my hobbies such as video games, keeping up on the anime series i follow, the youtube channels i am subbed to, fishing, skating and guitar. anyways much love and respect keep killing it man

This park is sooooooo sick. I live pretty close and have gone a few times in the evening. This is seriously one of the best parks I've ever been to. You can't beat the location, features, and design. A+++++++++++++++++++++
My city built a half assed park a decade or so ago, I was on the committee for it. They hired the cheapest people possible, didn't use any of our ideas we had planned, and then abandoned it. It's a pyramind with a 5 set/hubbas and rail, and 3 different sized rails. That's it. Lol My buddy who owns the local skate shop made a petition/fundraiser for a new park which is going very well. So hopefully we get a new one within the next year.

You should do a video talking about how you film yourself skating and how you edit it. Also like mindset going into during and after the skating. I find myself having to film myself and I often get discouraged with it alongside of not being creative enough when editing so its basically raw clips. Some advice and pointers would be fantastic.
The edits on this video are leaps and bounds ahead of anything previous. Progress daily indeed. Seriously this is out of this world good from an editing perspective.

Our town started to build a skatepark about 5 years ago and they stopped after building a foundation. We basically have a foundation for a skatepark for 5 years and now the place needs to get torn down again because trees started growing there. Fun experience

Is that where the Blue skatepark was? that was the oldest skate park in New York City old blue wooden ramps you could see from the high way what a bummer the old school one was there from the late 80s early 90s I think there's old clips of Jason Lee and gonz skating it.
