When God created my friend Elvis he was just showing off. I can't tell you how much i love and miss him, there is not a day that goes by that i don't think of him and all the memories we made in 10 short years, his death knocked the wind out of me the funeral broke me i have never been the same since, Elvis was the big brother i never had. He is also my guardian angel. Graceland is my go to place when it get's to hard to live w/o my friend i go there and walk around and remember Elvis and all the beautiful times we had together. He was the only person in my life that understood me and cared about my feelings and opinions. What it comes down to is we both needed a true friend and we were that for each other. Awesome reaction. God bless you and your family from the one and only Memphis Tn, fye he loved to make noises with the microphone to get laughs there was nothing nasty or sexual about it. I called him sexy jello because of the way he shook his legs and hips when i 1st called him that he laughed for a bet 5 minutes lol. #forevermyking

ALL of his music is wonderful, his live performances are the absolute best, and sometimes sound even better than the recordings.. I love his fun humorous and flirty ones but if I had to pick favorites, I would have to say his gospel music is amazing. You can feel the passion, strength and power of his beliefs in what he is singing.. How Great Thou Art, American Trilogy, You Gave Me a Mountain and Take My Hand Precious Lord are just a few of his amazing ones, but there are many many more as well.. Enjoy the journey and the music, I love that so many keep his music and him with us still to this day.. He was an amazing talent and a humble and loving person.. RIP Elvis

IF you had ever gone to an Elvis concert you would realize that he worked off of the reaction of the crowd. When the ladies screamed he would give them a little more to enjoy. He ALWAYS gave an audience a show to remember, even at the end. The more you react to his music and live performances you'll understand why he IS "The King of Rock and Roll." I've been an Elvis fan from the beginning. I'm now 80 years old and still enjoy him on youtube.
Someone passed Elvis a note from the audience, which women would do quite frequently with either their phone number or the room number. I love how the band slows down while he’s reading the note and he goes right back into singing.

In his early music days he was known as Elvis the pelvis. On variety shows on tv, they would not show him moving from the waist down. But he is the GOAT. RIP
He’s a great entertainer and has his funny times ….I saw Elvis in concert at Pittsburgh Pa 12/31/76 what a great and special man . I have been a big fan of Elvis for 60 Ryan now ..he passed 8 1/2 months later 😢

This song is pure rockabilly. That not he read probably came from someone in the crowd as women would often make Elvis propositions. One of my favorite performances. He is so playful and relaxed. I wondered about that microphone bit you guys cracked up over for a long time. I finally heard an interview some time back, that he meant as a sound affect, like she was cutting someone’s throat. You see him reach up to his neck immediately afterwards in a cutting motion. Thanks for sharing!
The thing with the microphone was for the sound effect. Elvis had to actually create the sounds that artists manufacture with technology. Yes, Elvis was a showman and loved improvising but you should also react to videos that showcase his ability to sing in any genre and his jaw dropping vocal capability. Suggestions: Unchained Melody (sadly one of the last songs he ever sang in concert just six weeks before his death), What Now My Love, Bridge Over Troubled Water, American Trilogy, Crying in the Chapel, and Don't Cry Daddy.

Suspicious Minds live in '70 is still my favorite but this one runs a close 2nd...of the recordings. However, my all time favorites will always be the 2 of his concerts I attended in person in 1972.
Believe me, after attending 2 concerts, Elvis always kept up that energy during the whole performance.

I was friends with Charlie Hodge his confidant and best friend for years after Elvis died n he told me so many things about his best friend( he lived at Graceland with Elvis for 17 yrsafter they got out of the Army) Charlie would tell me that Elvis would get many notes given to him before n end of show.

My wife and I went to Grassland 2 months ago stayed 7 days in the Elvis Presley guest house next door from his mansion went through his mansion and grounds at his grave and everything at his museum across the street from the mansion we also stayed 1 night in his and his family's first appartment in Memphis at the old LAUDERDALE COURT'S THEN WENT TO Mississippi to see his birth house well worth the trip and money.

His drummer Ronnie Tutt informed him that they work together and that Ronnie Tutt pay attention and they perform together Every move elvis made ronnie tutt was to emphasize his moves . He was a great entertainment The king.

Please, please react to this spectacular song! It was actually written for a movie and became one of his MOST famous songs! Fun trivia. Elvis had several jumpsuits in different colors and their design was based on a Karate 🥋 uniform called a “Gi”, pronounced like gee with a hard G. He was an 8th or 12th degree (don’t remember which), black belt in karate. If you watch him at the end of songs he’s doing karate like moves.
