2-3 stalks celery
1 lb yukon gold potatoes
1 cup frozen peas
1 cup diced mushrooms
2-3 carrots diced
1 onion diced
1/2 stick butter
1 cup frozen corn
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp italian herb paste
1 tsp btb chicken base
AP seasoning, Smoked Paprika, Red Pepper Flakes
1/3 cup all purpose flour
6 cups chicken broth
2/3 cup heavy cream

I didn’t add any more salt cause the chicken base etc. had enough salt. Gotta watch the blood pressure. 😊
I made my first chicken pot pie last week. I seared my chicken instead of using rotisserie, and I used puff pastry cause i gotta have the crust. It was so good

Wow! This soup is comforting and delicious 😋 especially on a cold rainy January day. It did indeed taste like chicken pot pie. I ate it with some almond flour bread that I made. Thank you so much for this recipe. I have to avoid gluten and gluten-free products but I had been craving chicken pot pie. I think I’m going to take a bowl size portion and put it in an oven safe pan and make an almond flour crust to put over it and bake it. Thanks again 😊

My mother made this when I was coming up. I make it now days. We call it, "Chicken Chowder" because there's no pie crust. Love your videos especially when you include the bloopers.

Made a mistake and forgot the onion. Ate the chicken pot pie loved it. Then I realized I forgot the onion decided to carmalize an onion and add that. Oh my goodness it was a whole nuther level better. Definitely a must try.

Prep work is cathartic to me but I am older and retired. That being said, I started cooking as soon as I could get my hands on an onion or a garlic.
