I've told people this and they look at me funny, but I stand by it... Babymetal is the ONLY metal band that will put you in a place of ultimate joy and keep you there for the entire time. The smile never fades.
I totally agree once you go down the The fox Hole it's hard to get But I totally agree they do keep you kept Captivated. I didn't know what to think when I first heard them but it didn't take long to get hooked. Enjoy the journey
people look at me funny even after hearing it because its weird but its so good, saw them live as special act in amsterdam and immediatly bought a ticket for 3 december in tilburg
F.Hero said he was so nervous to go out on stage for his feature, but hearing the crowds reaction to these 3 girls and the incredible Kami Band got him so amped that he couldnt wait to get out there 🤘🦊🤘
I am an old school metalhead. Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Vader, Behemoth, System of a Down, Slipktnot, etc, etc. I found Baby Metal years ago and I fucking love em. '"Chocolate" song is bananas ;D
F HERO is a big name in Thailand. Also an all out awesome guy. In Thailand, papaya is used not only as a fruit, but also unripe as a sallad, and in lots of dishes. It's a staple food. And so good. This song is about the many possibilities with papaya, and their combined love for it.
The first time I heard the song I didn't know who F Hero was, but the Thai lyrics caught my ear. It took a few listens to properly get to understand, but it gave me an excuse for repeated plays :) It also left me craving a good plate of som tam.
@Flugelhorn Old Man in Japan i was sat at the back i mean the last seat right in the middle of the steps but seats right next to stage . Still close enough to see them without binoculars 🤣 but during Megitsune ( again ), Moa came to my side waving with both arms, and a lot of Sabaton fans where seated around me, but they are not waving back .With one arm and holding my phone with the other hand, I was waving like a lunatic wearing my new gold one t-shirt with the big gold O in the middle, which stood out amongst all the Sabaton t shirts . Moa stopped putting her hands over the top of her eyes like she was looking a long way back. Started laughing and waved back with one arm and stretching up as if to say yes, i can see you 🤣♥️🤘🏼🦊long story, but I hope she did see me 🙏
@@martinmetal7481 Thank you for your lengthy, ostentatious and again annoying report 😡. A lunatic guy wearing that big "O" t-shirt must have stood out amid the calm and intellectual Sabaton fans without doubt. I agree, however, Moa felt pleased with her finding. She confirmed that someone had bought at least one of the newest goods prior to their show🤣
I’ve seen a concert of them here on UA-cam and these girls are dancing running and jumping all over the place for over an hour and at the end they don’t even look tired it’s crazy to me
@zoisekai from what i have heard very fit, but they are on another level of fitness. Even the Avengers were looking shattered at shows, and Su and Moa looked like they had been for a walk in the park .🤣😁🤘🏼🦊
Been a Kitsune and part of "The One" since 2010...I've been to two of their American concerts: Austin, Texas in 2018 and Nashville, Tennessee in 2023. BABYMETAL never disappoints. HELL of a live show. The crowds are super nice and helpful. Excellent music and dance.
Good reaction. This was filmed on the second night in Yokohama at the start of their 2019 tour. F Hero is a rapper from Thailand and very well known there, he flew in to Japan specially to perform on those first two nights. The third girl in this video was one of the 3 'Avengers' who would take turns dancing in the third spot from 2019 to April 1st this year (BABYMETAL now have a new third member - Momometal who was one of the Avengers). In this video the Avenger was Kano, this was her first show with BABYMETAL - she was still only 14 years old. 'PA PA YA' is a summer festival song - and it really is about a spicy green papaya fruit salad. F Hero was rapping in Thai to the same rhythm as mixing the ingredients for the salad with a mortar and pestle. They are pretty much saying that, much like the salad, mixing the right spices into life will make that better too. If you see BABYMETAL live remember to take a towel (or buy one from the merch stand) to swing around your head for this song. Seeing everybody doing that makes Su and Moa (and new member Momoko as well now) happy ... and we all want them to be happy all the time.🤘🦊🤘
Not many can put on a show like BabyMetal !! I see so many critiques about how they aren't musicians, but I say they're great singers, great dancers, and I challenge anyone to put that much energy in to a show and be able to sing as well !!! Plus, the Kami Band is incredible and the whole show is off the charts. Would love to see them live.
You said it pertectly, brother! Could Ozzy and Dio be accused of being posers just because they "only" sing and entertain the audience? It must be hard for haters to accept that these girls have been hugely successful for 13 years in different countries. They are even more respected in live performances with big heavy and thrash metal bands. Su and Moa have been involved in composing songs for albums since they were children, and they even participated in creating the logo. Envy and resentment are the food of haters.
Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。[ Congrats! BABYMETAL will return to North America this fall and perform in Canada at two gigs during the co-headliner tour with DETHKLOCK. Toronto on Sep.18 and Vancouver on Oct.3 ] In June 2019, F. Hero came all the way to Japan from Thai for the world premiere of this song and he had been very nervous to perform at a huge arena in foreign country. This is an MV of live footage coupled with studio sound. At the actual venue, Su-Metal shouted "Come on F. Hero!" to summon him. And at the end of this song she screamed "Thank you F. Hero!" then the three girls bowed deeply towards him to show their respect. That scene makes me happy. This catchy and danceable metal song have been performed in most of their shows since 2019 including ongoing shows in European. I have enjoyed Pa Pa Ya performed live 13 times. When you attend their show, you will come to know it is very hard to keep swinging towel above your head for 4 minutes all along. It is fun. though 😄
_Matsuri da!_ 🦊🤘🍠 Welcome back to the Foxhole and BabyMetal Galaxy. Thanks for hearing our suggestions but mine still goes over more early era, this one is great thou, is a hit they don't wanna miss playing at live concerts, like recently. A couple of days ago they started the Sabaton's Europe Tour, first at Leeds, then London and yesterday was Cardiff, tomorrow is Glasgow turn finishing the UK leg, everyone is having a blast with these and i really hope you can get the chance to see them live when going to the US this year, the fun and smile is a natural reflex everytime they show up, they're pure happiness. Babymetal never have afraid of trying something new. In this case they are mixing thai rap with BabyMetal unique sound, although this is audio album track over a live performance video. Of course with the Kami Band playing behind this song is even better. Since BMRR channel doesn't have this live clip, you can find a decent live compilation version at "who?" channel if you want to listen this again with live sound and safe to react without any filters. This is a party festival summer song (Matsuri da), they're actually singing about papaya salad and mixing with other things as an allegory of life to enjoy mixing different stuff, in this case the thai and japanese culture. Papaya is a fruit. F.Hero is a Thai rapper, top notch Thai artist, and he rap about that in his part. Waving your towel while dancing and singing is a must and the girls love that. This song belongs to 3rd album "Metal Galaxy" released in 2019 but this one as well many more songs are exploring a different Babymetal side, sometimes more mature, but trying to not lose their fun. It belongs to the Light Side disc of that album. The footage of this was took from BABYMETAL AWAKENS: The Sun Also Rises 2019 in Yokohama Arena Japan, F.Hero was invited for this, the night before he was really in panic with the amount of people and even throwing all out after the show, It ain't easy to face that crowd, especially after receiving some negative critics from BM fans who didn't like his participation on this, fortunately he recover from this and received a warming welcome. Also that night they introduced the _avengers_ system, a group of three backup dancers filling the third spot that YuiMetal left (she left the group in 2018). They rotate so not always you'll see the same one on stage, usually the live official MV before 2020 is with Kano Fujihira, she started this when having 14 years old, so young like our girls back in their early days. None of them have mic or sing and aren't official members, they just dance. But remember that status change recently when announcing a new official member called MomoMetal. Next recommendation usually safe to react: - Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! live at Legend 1997, you can find a clip safe to react at Gans Tomas channel under Head Bangya title, "abr metal" got also this clip. Thanks for sharing this and see you next time.🦊🤘❤
This video is pure FIRE! Fun fact: Most if not all sparks and flame, that appear right in front of camera in close ups is post production. These are sparks from a bonfire and it would be impossible to recreate them during the live show. Not to mention lot of these effects appear in the middle of the crowd or are synched with dance moves. But even without the extra fire, every time this song is played live, I swear, temperature in the arena rises few degrees.
I love this song because no matter what your expectation is, it gets destroyed in the best way possible. Weather you are familiar with Babymetal or not, you are not ready for this song or performance. The blending of cultures, music, visuals, and visuals have never been like this before by anyone so far as I have ever, seen or heard. I highly suggest that you also watch Karate and headbanger as they are also next level performances!
I love your "RAYACTIONS"!!! You have a really deep knowledge of music, dance, and production. So awesome to hear your opinion on one of my favorite bands! BABYMETAL is nothing but PURE JOY!!! You need to see a LIVE show.
Great reaction, thanks! This music video has the studio version of the audio dubbed over the visuals from the show "BABYMETAL Awakens - The Sun also rises" held in Yokohama in late June 2019. But don't worry, Su-metal (the lead singer) sounds even better live. It's just that record labels like this sort of music videos instead of releasing the real live performance which is included in a very expensive Blu-ray. 😁
If you want to see more of this contrast between adorable and cute voices and,on the other hand, deep screams I recommend you watch "catch me if you can" by them. I really liked your reaction.
Now that you've heard Babymetal, you should react to the queens of Japanese hard rock Band Maid "Domination Official Live Video"! These women are excellent musicians, that rock hard and have amazing energy and "Domination" live is the perfect song to check out their stage presence and their lead singer.
I absolutely love your reactions to baby metal. You put the words to my emotions. Even 2 years after starting listening, I still get the same emotions. If you like soft female vocals combined with growl or harsh singing, try Amaranth performing amaranthine. Think you will like it.
You don't even know how big smile You put on me when You were reacting to this song Pa Pa Ya! You said that You really like the contrast between strong growls and clean vocals. I suggest You react to original song of Halocene called Rage! 😉Great reaction! 😃
Great reaction and I also love the dichotomy of the voices both in Babymetal but more so with July Talks. Guns & Ammo really showcases that contrast imo.
BABYMETAL will be on tour with Dethklock (from the Adult Swim show Metalocolypse) all across the US. Known as the Babykloktour From Aug- Oct this year in various locations.
Based on what you said Amongst the Stars by Amorphis might be right up your alley. It would also introduce Anneke van Giersbergen, one of the inspirations of Floor.
Since you mentioned, you like a contrast between the vocals ... how about Feuerschwanz - Warriors of the World? You'll get ... five voices ranging between deep and high. 😉
Babymetal and Rammstein are opposite sides of the same coin. One is dark and creepy, the other is bright and joyful, bith are on a new level of theatrics. Some may point out that the vocals are a studio recording here, doesn't matter, Su is just as good live if not better. Babymetal will be coming to the US in the fall, they have a 19 date tour, you should see if they're near you and get tickets
Some of this is likely slightly off, but generally correct: Lead vocalist (Su-metal) and the support singer duo originally were part of a specialty music high school (like the Julliard but in Japan), attending normal high school and the music school at the same time. Su-metal was top of her class, had an incredibly powerful voice, the music director proposed an experiment having her front/sing for a metal band meshing cute with heavy metal, in part because Su-metal's voice was so powerful. No one thought it would work, but it was approved to try out - it was all school/learning. He introduced the trio of singers to heavy metal by playing Metallica for them (they all loved it). One of the first songs they produced was "give me chocolate" which exploded on youtube (close to 100m views i think) then on music charts. The "experiment" continued with more songs and eventually live performances in Japan, all while they continued high school and music school. When they graduated the band continued, and just keeps going. If you search / listen to their catalog of work, start to finish; it is all unique and extraordinary. You can find them collaborating with Lady Gaga, Judas Priest, RHCP among many others as well. BxMxC, Headbanger, and Metalizm are three favorites of mine.
When I listen to this song, I'm so happy and for sure I'll dance with the crowd together,I see you kind to move little bit,why you didn't dance with us 😅😅❤
I don't know how the original three girls Su, Moa, and Yui trained themselves for not getting winded after all the dancing and singing. They made things look very easy until Yui left and few girls took terms filled in Yui's spot, then you can see the difference. In some videos, few of those girls needed to take a big breath after a song was finished. I guess that is why they didn't get the mic. IMO, Su is always singing live except one special version of HEADBANGER with Ave Maria intro, a theatrical opening for the concert I guess. The music style and Su had to cover a lot more choreography, it just impossible for her to sing live. However, i think this version is a MUST see. The crowd was even crazier just because the energy.
Tomaste la versión de estudio, ojalá puedas escuchar la versión en vivo, si con esta sentiste esa emoción viceral, con la versión en vivo vas a gritar! 🤘🦊🇲🇽
Sugoi! Possibly already mentioned (or reacted to), Su-metal RAPS in "BxMxC." As usual, the LIVE version is best. Hats off to KuroKiitsuneSama! ua-cam.com/video/pLo8VbPJ4ys/v-deo.html Arigatou! 🦊🤘 #notacult #dubstepmetal #rapmetal
You mentioned the contrast between the scream pa pa ya and Suzuka's vocals and it made me think of another song called Kingslayer by Bring me the Horizon featuring Babymetal. It's.. quite an experience. You might enjoy it quite a lot
If you like the harsh male juxtaposed with aerie female vocals, give Amaranthe a try. Bonus clean male vocals too (yes, 3 vocalists if you're counting). Start with GG6 or Boom!1 , or maybe Hunger or Archangel. Awesome reaction!
I suggest you reaction song “Leave It All Behind” that collaboration between Baby Metal, F.Hero, and Bodyslam too. This is one of the great songs from them.
I was also at Wembley the other night in a seat just to the side of the front of the stage so I had a great view - as I've said to many other reactors in the past - if you can't raise a smile to Papaya, you need to see a Doctor 😅
I don’t know if anyone has ever requested The song mirror mirror but it is one you need to check out. while I hope To be part of the Patreon One day. As a fan of your Reactions you need to check out F hero, milli and,Chang bin of Stray kids Do a thai, Korean Collab that is so many amazing voices that it will blow your mind.
Just imagine the pitch meeting... - Jo, we're goona have these sweet adorable japanese girls singing way beyond the female break over brutal metal riffs on a giant moving platform with flames underneath. And we'll also invite this famous Korean rapper because we wanna add a rap before an epic break down. - Awsome. What's the song about? - Fruit-Salat
It's unfair how truly enjoyable Babymetal is.. when singing about a damn fruit xD. I wouldn't trade them for anything tho! I want a broc-co-li version of this song asap!
why is it that fella sounds so much like Sean Paul))) both have something in common, I can't understand either of them)))) " baby metal" in some Caribbean accent and that was it)))
Please, reacting this video of babymetal, babymetal D2 legend metal galaxy, it's the day 2 their live concert, popular list of song. I bet you'll like it
Moa with the cheeky tongue behind Su's shoulder at 3:27 in your video. They cut to a different camera for the music video, but the live video from their bluray is zoomed in on their faces.
I LOVE Alice in Chains "MUSIC".. their "ON-STAGE" energy is like a latent bean fart. BABYMETAL!!! ETERNAL ENERGY!!! I DON'T CARE IT'S SO ENERGETIC!!!! They're "anti-Alice in chains energy"... LOLOL
I'm a bit late to this (okay, a lot late), but if it's not already been requested...you should listen to Kingslayer by Bring Me The Horizon and Babymetal
So F.HERO is a Thai rapper and actor - one of the things about BM 3rd album (METAL GALAXY)* was the sheer number of cross music divide collaborations with very diverse music styles being mixed in with their own unique Kawai Metal. BM concerts are about joy, fun and smiling! One thing I love is the fun the lead singer of BM (aka SU-METAL) gets to lay back and just dance with the other two (in this MV case MOAMETAL and Avenger KANO). *Corrected album title

F. Hero (Full rap name is F*cking Hero) is a great, wholesome, and famous Thai rapper who's very skillful with rough almost metal-like voice.
Welcome back to the Babymetal Foxhole. "PA PA YA" is from Babymetal third album METAL GALAXY. Papaya is a tropical fruit available anywhere in Asia especially in the region of South East Asia. "PA PA YA!!" is a dance song with an underlying massage of striving for personal excellence, collaboration with a very well known Thailand rapper from Chiang Rai name Natthawut Srimok nickname Golf but known popularly by his stage name F.HERO (Fukking Hero) and specialise in the Hip-Hop and Rap genre. Some remarks in Thai lyric translation part:
Molam= Thai-Isan local music
"Papaya -Pok-Pok= Thai pun phrase means Som-Tam, Thai food made up from papaya-chopped mix up with chilli, tomato, garlic, palm sugar, lots of vegetable and others depends on varies area. "Som-Tam" also have the same meaning with "Hanaka"= Thai old snack, slang word means like "sugoi" in Japanese. Great reaction.

"Pa Pa Ya!!" was released worldwide on June 28, 2019, just ahead of the band's performance at Yokohama Arena the same day. The song was also released as a bonus CD to the box set Metal Resistance Episode VII - Apocrypha: The Chosen Seven.
As Moametal states, "Pa Pa Ya!!" has a fun performance, and is the first of their songs to feature a rap section.
Composition:-
Similar to other Babymetal songs, "Pa Pa Ya!!" gathers influence from various genres while preserving the band's J-pop and electronic music. With its name referring to the papaya, "Pa Pa Ya!!" contains components of southern lands, Japanese festivals, and a chaotic tune, for a "hot upper tune" in the summer. The song is composed of an "infectuous synth line", "bouncy guitar riffs", and vocals repeatedly yelling "Pa pa ya", with the tune showcasing Su-metal and Moametal singing around each other in contrast to the chants and guitars. F.Hero raps a verse which provides elements of nu-metal, and applying "horror-esque synths" against the bubblegum chorus.

f.hero from my Thailand
If you want to see more of this contrast between adorable and cute voices and,on the other hand, deep screams I recommend you watch "catch me if you can" by them. I really liked your reaction.
Now that you've heard Babymetal, you should react to the queens of Japanese hard rock Band Maid "Domination Official Live Video"! These women are excellent musicians, that rock hard and have amazing energy and "Domination" live is the perfect song to check out their stage presence and their lead singer.
I wanted to see them live but tickets were 300+!
Always love your reaction. Your face is telling. Love it. Hope to see much more
I absolutely love your reactions to baby metal.
We need more babymetal reaction
Great reaction and I also love the dichotomy of the voices both in Babymetal but more so with July Talks. Guns & Ammo really showcases that contrast imo.
Your smiles are so contagious. Thanks for making these
BABYMETAL will be on tour with Dethklock (from the Adult Swim show Metalocolypse) all across the US. Known as the Babykloktour From Aug- Oct this year in various locations.
Based on what you said Amongst the Stars by Amorphis might be right up your alley. It would also introduce Anneke van Giersbergen, one of the inspirations of Floor.
F.Hero is a rapper from Thailand who is in Papaya song. Can you understand Thai? 😊♥️♥️😚
Omg ur smile 😂
Getting melt ❤❤
Since you mentioned, you like a contrast between the vocals ... how about Feuerschwanz - Warriors of the World?
You'll get ... five voices ranging between deep and high. 😉
If you'd like to see more singer juxtaposition on the heavier side, I'd suggest 'A Dream That Cannot Be' by Amon Amarth. Really good back-and-forth.
Babymetal and Rammstein are opposite sides of the same coin. One is dark and creepy, the other is bright and joyful, bith are on a new level of theatrics. Some may point out that the vocals are a studio recording here, doesn't matter, Su is just as good live if not better.
Babymetal will be coming to the US in the fall, they have a 19 date tour, you should see if they're near you and get tickets
im so proud of these girls. And the band obviously is amazing. so happy yet brutal guitar riffs. its special the crowds they draw.
When I listen to this song, I'm so happy and for sure I'll dance with the crowd together,I see you kind to move little bit,why you didn't dance with us 😅😅❤
Hah I didn't wanna bounce around the screen too much but next time... Bring it! 💃
It’s time for you to jump into the HCU. Anything with Halocene featuring Lauren Babic and Violet Orlandi will blow you ever loving mind. I promise.
Babymetal es una banda increible!! los músicos son impresionantes!! Saludos desde santiago de chile Ray!
мне просто нравится что ей нравится)
PA PA PA PA PA PA PAPAYA!!!! Everytime i listen to this song i want to go out and run a marathon xD
Tomaste la versión de estudio, ojalá puedas escuchar la versión en vivo, si con esta sentiste esa emoción viceral, con la versión en vivo vas a gritar! 🤘🦊🇲🇽
Sugoi! Possibly already mentioned (or reacted to), Su-metal RAPS in "BxMxC." As usual, the LIVE version is best. Hats off to KuroKiitsuneSama!

Arigatou!
WTF did I watch! WTF is that! I love it!😳😳😳
Try kamelot -the Haunting ft Simone Simons
Or kamelot -liar liar ft Alissa
Out there somewhere is a performance of BABYMETAL with ROB HALFORD of JUDAS PRIEST. It's a trip.
Yes "Leave it all behind"
I suggest you reaction song “Leave It All Behind” that collaboration between Baby Metal, F.Hero, and Bodyslam too. This is one of the great songs from them.
I was also at Wembley the other night in a seat just to the side of the front of the stage so I had a great view - as I've said to many other reactors in the past - if you can't raise a smile to Papaya, you need to see a Doctor 😅
I was there to, was total sensory overload, loved it.
Please do more Babymetal reactions

Just imagine the pitch meeting...
- Jo, we're goona have these sweet adorable japanese girls singing way beyond the female break over brutal metal riffs on a giant moving platform with flames underneath. And we'll also invite this famous Korean rapper because we wanna add a rap before an epic break down.
- Awsome. What's the song about?
- Fruit-Salat
-Korean- Thai
It's unfair how truly enjoyable Babymetal is.. when singing about a damn fruit xD. I wouldn't trade them for anything tho! I want a broc-co-li version of this song asap!
You should try doing the song Agent Orange by Slapshock....
for the love of God, listen to "vinushka" by the band "dir en gray", I'm sure you'll love it.
why is it that fella sounds so much like Sean Paul))) both have something in common, I can't understand either of them)))) " baby metal" in some Caribbean accent and that was it)))

BABYMETAL🔥🤘🦊🤘🔥
No heating is needed in the room with BabyMetal PA PA YA in winter. These days they are in the UK.
Moa with the cheeky tongue behind Su's shoulder at 3:27 in your video. They cut to a different camera for the music video, but the live video from their bluray is zoomed in on their faces.
Moa is always being silly... so much that someone made a compilation of Moa-metal trolling Su-metal.
I LOVE Alice in Chains "MUSIC".. their "ON-STAGE" energy is like a latent bean fart.
BABYMETAL!!! ETERNAL ENERGY!!! I DON'T CARE IT'S SO ENERGETIC!!!! They're "anti-Alice in chains energy"... LOLOL
more babymetal please
I think you mean Metal Galaxy.
@@wildething7923 Thanks yes I do indeed mean Metal Galaxy (that comes of rushing to reply in the last minute of my lunchtime). Corrected my original post
Samurai is by-far their best Video/Song IMO, I stress Video because the video is also INCREDIBLE 😎
Your impersonation of Babymetal faces isn't bad at all!
