For years, I melt when I see her and hear her. Heaven-sent. And such a diverse crossover talent! Check out her collaboration with Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin in their Grammy award winning album, Raising Sand. She's the second-most Grammy awarded female artist in history, after Beyonce. Thanks for the video!
I was 22 at that concert. A group of us came up from Somerset, KY and I still listen to the album on a weekly basis. If you ever listen to the entire concert, whether through the album or watch it online, you'll understand when I say, we all knew we were experiencing something special that night. It was the closest I'd ever come to magic.
That’s my favorite female singer. She always delivers. She did a duet with James Taylor called “How’s The World Treating You”. She sang duets with Brad Paisley, Shanendoah, James Taylor, John Waite, the nitty gritty dirt band with a song called Catfish John, tribute to Willie Nelson with Jamie Johnson etc. the list goes on. The song she sang on Michael Johnson’s album May he RIP called Whenever I Call You Friend. Because I loved to hear Michael Johnson sing although he wasn’t in a country category. At the 2013 CMA awards her and Vince Gill sang with Taylor Swift (The song called Red) acoustically. Stellar performance
There just aren’t any bad songs associated with her, she’s one of history’s most awarded musicians (regardless of genre) and there is good reason for that! Of course one of my favorites is her cover of Keith Whitley’s classic “when you say nothing at all”, and there are lots of other songs I’d love to recommend, including her duet with John Waite on his song “missing you”, but I think the one I’d recommend to you is “river in the rain”, I just think you’d like that one. Keep them coming my friend, I always enjoy your videos!
One of many i love by her. Such talent . Soo ez to listen to. She just says it plain n clear. How to make you smile. All i gotta do is hear her and im there. Soo pretty. And so is her voice! Some others can say it btr then me. She is just soo good. Her whole band PERFECT . Done.. F-DW-5/20/22great way to end my night!
zita forgot to mention my favorite Allison Krauss duet her and Robert Plant have done 2 albums now the highlight of this collaboration has to be "gone, gone ,gone (done moved on). another noteworthy song by Allison is call "new favorite" which the was done as a sequel to the video for this song
When you are at one of her concerts, you can hear a pin drop when she sings. Been to two of them and she sound this good live just like she does on a cd .
Absolutely love your reactions. Please do a reaction to How Can I Help You Say Goodbye....the version by Laura Branigan. A touching, emotional song. I think you will like the song.
I think this was their best album: A New Favorite. You should listen to that title track! I never get tired of that entire album. Great to put on on a Saturday afternoon and fill the house with good music!
I would enjoy your reaction to the movie "brother where art thou". Or at least alison Krauss "down to the river to pray" and dan tyminski "man of constant sorrow" from the soundtrack or transatlantic sessions version
I think you would enjoy Freddie Harts “Easy Lovin” if you get a chance. Allison’s when you say nothing at all ( a Keith Whitley cover) or Angle Flying to close to the ground ( Willie Nelson cover) are a great next option for her.
When I have a bad day- a long day at work, disagreement with the wife, feeling down etc- I just put on this album. It’ll cure what’s ailin’ ya. Dive in deeper. Not a bad song in the arsenal.
Once again Allison knocks another out of the park. Most people would think bluegrass would only come out of the Appalachian mountains. Allison is from Illinois and Union Station is from Vermont
There is another beautiful female voice in Country music worth noticing. And this video/song is one of the most touching and powerful that you will find on all of UA-cam, ANY genre. You won’t forget it once you hear it. Joey+Rory When I’m Gone Official Video. ua-cam.com/video/xcpjSMmWUDw/v-deo.html It is a very special song and Joey is very dear to many country fans.
When you have Alison Krauss, Dan Tyminski, and Jerry Douglas on that dobro on the stage at one time, you absolutely can’t go wrong. Great stuff.
Allison & Union Station never dissapoint.
They are an amazing group
This is nice. The Lucky One is real nice too.

God I Love Jerry Douglas on the Dobro!
Finest dobro player ever to walk the earth.
Sensual performance
My girl!

Listen to “lucky One”

I appreciate you brother.
It doesn’t get any better!
You are the only reactor that gives her the attention and respect that a 27 time Grammy award winner deserves.
She's won 27 Grammys.
Union Station played for the Soggy Bottom Boys in the movie Oh Brother Where Art Thou.
Love this!!
An extremely beautiful, and talented woman with an incredible band who brought Blue Grass music to the forfront.
Allison Krauss- hits all the bases.
Thanks again Sir.I very much appreciate your channel
That resonater guitar can sing right along with Alison.! They all are awesome.!
I've seen them live and have never seen a band so tight. Every song sounded like a studio recording.
Smooth voice and country can pick some guitar strings
AK might have the most perfect female singing voice I've ever heard. It's impossible to listen to her and not fall in love just a little.
She is my favorite, hands down.
They always knew how to compliment her voice. Love the dobro.

Pure talent, with the voice of an Angel
Please listen to Allison and Robert Plant . Anything by those two is beautiful.
❤❤
I love love love this song! It’s probably Alison Krauss’s most sexy song she sings it’s so beautiful and so heartfelt superb!

Allison Krauss and Union Station is wonderful. Even you speed up the song to 1.5 X, it still sounds wonderful.
Welcome to the country music.
She has a large catalogue of wonderful songs.... this is one of my favorites. Cheers.
Absolutely love your reactions. Please do a reaction to How Can I Help You Say Goodbye....the version by Laura Branigan. A touching, emotional song. I think you will like the song.
They are one of the best bluegrass ensemble.
Her voice is just so clear ♥️
This is one of my fav songs ever. :)
I think this was their best album: A New Favorite. You should listen to that title track! I never get tired of that entire album. Great to put on on a Saturday afternoon and fill the house with good music!
❤
One of my favorites of hers!! Love them!! Everything they sing is amazing!! Happy Friday!!
one of my favorite songs of hers... just another facet of her talent
Her song simple love
Such a true talent she is
You should try Jacobs dream by her I think it's her best and haunting. Also Dan Tyminski has great music in his solo career.
I would enjoy your reaction to the movie "brother where art thou". Or at least alison Krauss "down to the river to pray" and dan tyminski "man of constant sorrow" from the soundtrack or transatlantic sessions version
Check out Man of Constant Sorrow by acapella savants, Home Free!
@@TheDivayenta yes. They do a great job
Not sure if I’m more in love with her voice or with Jerry Douglas’ skill on the dobro.
Have your cake and eat Ben
I agree she looked different when she started, but she was a little girl, but still beautiful.
Check out Alison with the Cox Family
Another wonderful reaction to Alison Krause.
I think you would enjoy Freddie Harts “Easy Lovin” if you get a chance. Allison’s when you say nothing at all ( a Keith Whitley cover) or Angle Flying to close to the ground ( Willie Nelson cover) are a great next option for her.
happy v day dj roc❤
this song makes the band uncomfortable
the anthem of reach arounds
GO ALISON !
a gift from god
A voice from heaven
You really need to take a look at what Union Station brings to this awesome table. Please do, The Boy Who Wouldn't Hoe Corn! Live version!
I will.
Yes- it’s my fave by Dan Tyminski.
Find a picture of her from the early 2000's. You won't believe what she looked like!
You mean the 90's. This concert was actually filmed in 2001. Her appearance changed around 96-97 after the success of when you say nothing at all.
When I have a bad day- a long day at work, disagreement with the wife, feeling down etc- I just put on this album. It’ll cure what’s ailin’ ya. Dive in deeper. Not a bad song in the arsenal.
Great stuff!!
This album helped me get through my divorce back in 2003. I wore it out.
