The limitation, is that both pads on both sides will only use the same samples, so we get to have 16 pads, but the same samples on both sides. Being able to edit CUE points directly into the library is amazing though. Wish you could sync over wifi too... I mean change which music i get to store on the prime hdd.
@@DeanBrown yeah thats intended behavior in 4 channel controllers, 2 channel controllers play through the master... i think having the choice of choosing where the samples come out from would be great
They need to fix this. That is rediculous. This is some Pioneer DJ type of foolishness. This should actomatically rout through the master. This must be a bug/oversight
@@AaronStrawn I wasn't calling you out, I was pointing out that Denon has named it a sampler which sets expectations that I don't think this feature will ever provide. Thank you for the video.
@@AaronStrawn First event the house system was actually better than mine. Not as much sub but damn does it sound good. Tempted to turn my speakers off and have them crank it… almost.
@@AaronStrawn first gig on 3.0 went just fine. After resetting the speed range and turning off sync I had no other issues. I didn’t play with the sampler much. It’s post fader so you can’t cue it. I did try wifi syncing and it couldn’t see my laptop. Might be a router setting. I’m using a travel router to login to venue wifi that requires a web login. Man four Sub2’s hit. I put two on each column and way underestimated the wave cancellation. At the booth the bass was killer but more than a few feet out it dropped fast. Had to crank them up (meaning 12 o’clock). The bass was shaking my teeth but sounded good on the dance floor. Should have coupled them. This might be my go to from now on. Less issues and tends to sound better.
It would be better if the samples could be triggered by tapping the screen plus samples are not post fader which I found out and is a faff going shift + roll
Did you call something a “bug” just because you didn’t understand it? To be blunt, you didn’t know where the sampler volume adjuster was until when you recorded the video and you still were like hey it’s a possible bug??? Then decided to basically poop on the software authors and bug testers by publishing this piece of opinion….It’s software based sampler obviously the sampler volume adjuster would be software based. Holy face palm.
Looks like other users have said their 4 channel mixers can control the sampler volume. Not the case with a 2 channel. And it BLEW my face off bro lol.
Theres a well know bug on recent Pioneer cdjs: is that you get no new features with update unless you buy the newer model. 😂
Lmao
On the Prime 4, sampler volume is on channel 4. Adjust sampler volume there.
No option for the Prime 2 though
Update is awesome...CUE/Point tags was a wish list....wireless access...sampler...YEAH YEAH!!
I didn’t even notice at first, nice!

My samples ate playing out of Channel 4 and I was hoping it would play out of the master

How come you want it through the Master? I'm just curious cause it seems like a headache to me
It’s a sample player not a sampler.
My bad

@@mattsterp748 gotcha!
So, where's the bug? 🤔
Looks like this is an issue with just 2 channel controllers.
@@AaronStrawn sorry to ask, but, what issue exactly?
ADSR ON THE PADS TO WOULD BE AWESOME HAY
Yup need to fix that volume to set at shut off. I had to do a sticky label above pads to remind me to adjust at start up
I couldn't believe how loud it was lol
Haven't had that issue with sc6000. It might just be a controller issue
That's good news
Of course you wouldn't have that problem with the sc6000, though...
DITTO WITH MY SC600MS AND mixstream pro.
@DJSHORTeFROMPhilly Iove your vids man.
I have the Prime 4 and my channel 4 and 1 are the samplechannels.....with fader volume control!!!!
So maybe it's the 2 channel controllers with it. Interesting
Fire!!!
Wait, I’m confused. Played with this last night on the prime 4 and seemed the same as Aaron posted. I’ll have to look at it again.
I did it on the pro go and it was loud asf on the siren. Ty for the master volume
Terrified my son with that siren lol
STEP SEQUENCER NEXT ME THINKS AND HOW DO WE LOAD OUR CUTOM SAMPLES INTO SAMPLE CONTENT
Bruh I’m loving the sampler 🙌🏾
Dennon 3.2
Can I add my own samples or use drum sample from my mpc one
Thanks. On the way to my first gig with 3.0. Haven’t messed with samples much yet so wouldn’t have known.
Let me know how it goes

I tried touching the screen too
Is your sample coming through one of the channels. Mine is coming through channel 4
I have the Prime 2, and it wasn’t coming out of either of the channels. Only the master was able to control the volume
Just wondering if anyone has managed to record a mix directly to SSD or do you have to go through flash drive then to laptop engine to get it prime 4
I have. No problem
Can u show us how to link the laptop to the console
It's easy- just have both on the same wireless network.

It would be nice if they had a way u can use your sample or your own sample while playing music really..smh
