@@salland12 Hi my children love you please be sure to stay hydrated
@@salland12 no, they're probably someone who gives a shit about their health.
Really sketchy building for sure
The reason there isn't much creaking is that the wood is all saturated. If an old home isn't creaking, it's a bad thing.
Words of wisdom! Doubt I would have figured that out by myself at all.
Makes sense!
Rotted wood crumbles too
specially true if the shape of loadbearing things like joists, beams, walls, and other structures have change shape or are letting go... then beyond doubt if lack of creaking is good or bad, its just bad. it means that whatever is bearing your additional load is already at or beyond capacity so saturation in both load and in moisture.. also be that shape changed enough that the structured is already loaded and you can set it off like a spring.
moisture is really bad and not because it rots specifically...but in transitional environments where summer is hot and moist and winter is hard packed and frozen...saturated wood will get destroyed way faster more it goes through these cycles within a few short years the wood turns into basically a crumbling sponge....which makes no noise when it lets go and collapses...you wont hear it happening until its too late and other stuff lets dow around it with you on it or around it..
Good point and that makes it freakier.
BilisNegra we’re not all experts I certainly didn’t realise this.
I always thought it was unrealistic how in video games like Fallout you'd find perfectly good doorways completely blocked by rubble, I guess I was wrong.
Doorways are usually the most structurally sound part of a building, they basically are a support. That's why during earthquakes your supposed they say to stand in a doorway
TheKromusDevice I was told to go under something like a table.
@@engineerbot but if you're not near a table or smth you should go under a door zone (idk the English tranlation of it)
@@xXmafsXx Doorways are also safer than tables. Mythbusters tested that.
I've seen pictures of burnt out or destroyed buildings where literally the only thing still standing, were doorways. Lol
Wow, when we were exploring the place in early 2017 the condition was already really bad. But damn, when you guys were there the school was like a deathtrap! One month ago, this place was torn down by the way.
PS: „Entscheidung” means decision, lol.
Good thing they were able to get some footage of it before it was demolished.
Oh wow
@@ThatOneTruckGuy definitely
Torn down? More like encouraged to just "let it go" with a gentle push from a backhoe!
War das im Harz?
You can just imagine structural engineers watching this video going.... "no, no No! Damn, noo, Oh No, GOD NOOO, Get OUT!!! " Probably give them nightmares for weeks.
Ben Wilson just seeing the middle of the building with that wall bulging outward and the crooked hallways alone made them shit themselves
Based on what I saw, it looks like that the clinic took delivery of new equipment just months before being shut down. I think this place was evacuated for a collapsing structure.
Wow, the building really decayed right under their noses then. But they were building a support wall but by then it was too late. It's weird to see that old photo of the rooms when they were still in good condition and people were working inside them building that wall, etc.
"That's asbestos"
*steps on it*
Honestly same.
mmmm cotton candy
Everything that causes cancer only happens in california, so they're good lol
Damn that looked very close to actual blood, Where's a Dan Bell Dirty Room blood identifier when you need one lol

The asbestos, lead paint, and the BLACK MOLD is holding that place together. ....BARELY!!! Great video guys, glad you guys were safe.
Lead paint was already banned in Germany by the time that building was constructed.
Joyce Lynn-Journal lover lead paint is not airborne unless sanded. The mask one of them was wearing doesn’t protect you from asbestos. I also didn’t see a significant amount of any mold in the video.
The building didnt fall on them but that asbestos, lead and mould definitely left with them
Katharine W it may not have then but it must have now there are many areas where you can see the structure is very much in distress and some of the rooms feel crooked and not straight
My God..I've never been so concerned for your safety!! EVER!!
That had to be one of the scariest places to visit, any second a whole section could collapse with you trapped inside, or potentially crushed by a falling wall. No thanks, you guys are heroes for visiting this place.
12:02 "see on the lower floors we're at risk of getting crushed and the higher floors we're at risk of falling"
*That's how structural collapse works!*
Thats how the ppl in Florida felt when that tower collapsed
Kinda cool how half of the place is in great shape, like remarkably intact, and other parts are literally collapsing.
"this building is not safe" continues exploring
Who needs load-bearing walls when you have... Load-bearing wallpaper. Now that's german finest engineering!
Osmosis nice 👌
Don’t forget the loadbearing asbestos and mold
On the top floor "Yeah, go down the hall way " think of the views you will get as you go through the floor. You can start a new new series on what its like to be in a German hospital for three months and reviews on the quality of hospital food in Germany. LOL
ADAK ALASKA !!! It’s an entire abandoned town including an airport, kindergarten, bowling ally, tones of 1970’s cookie cutter homes. Totally accessible unbelievable. Ask me anything I’ve been there a few times and explored.
-nick
Nicholas Sorrentino would I be able to find photos on google? I’m now intrigued.
yes indeed !!
Is there a bar?
Is this a good place to meet cute men?
Gurffy 3 yes, a locals bar (there’s still about 300 people on the island) and an abandoned bar (petrified fries in the fryer)
It's interesting how some parts of this explore were heavily vandalized (like the mattress set on fire) while other rooms had furniture set up in pretty good condition
Seriously glad you guys made it out of this one in one piece. The moment I saw that amount of collapse I'd have been out of there.
Wow 😮. That building was so sketchy. Glad you guys made out safely. Thanks so much for taking all these risks to give us these incredible videos. 👍
I can literally feel my immune system reacting to all the mold I'm seeing...
Lmao me too
Black Knight same
achoo!
That's what the respirator is for. Never go without one.
Entscheidung = Decision
What a lovely treat! A very early upload and a great look at a collapsing building. Also, the welcome return of the "chair just chilling".
It breaks my heart to see such beautiful, monumental building just rotting away ! 😞 So many beautiful details and ornaments, like the fountain, Pilasters en the amazing stove. I hope they removed it, especially the stove is worth a lot of money.
saw your tweet showing it being demolished. glad you got around before that.
Hope we get to see a video for that
That's got to be one of the strangest places I've seen, pristine rooms with no paint flaking and clean in one spot than collapsing floors in other areas like they reroofed, some areas and not others and the roof started leaking in the old places and now you have certain areas collapsing? Lol!
What a lovely place. Something about it makes it seem almost dream-like.
This was a really great video. Good job! I've been obsessed with these abandoned videos lately!
12:38 - fibreglass insulation, not asbestos. Still not ideal, but no different to going into you attic/loft.
That is 100% asbestos.
Looks like fibreglass to me. Asbestos has a sheet-like grey appearance
Could also be mineral wool (Roxall, etc.), which is still used today. Some fiberglass is white like that, some yellow, but I think the pink stuff is just dyed (hence the Pink Panther ads). Some older insulation was a mix of vermiculite, mica and asbestos, but this stuff looks more consistent that that.
The very, very best URBEX on UA-cam.
Very cool. The Allentown State Hospital in Allentown PA is going to be torn down. It is a massive hospital complex, fully intact. Any chance that you can do an explore there ?
“I see you chair just chillin’ over there. You can’t hide from us” haha!!!😂
For your current and future health, please make sure you both have masks in the future. Many of the places you explore are not too bad, but sometimes, like this place, even if you think it's going to be fine, it can turn out to be quite bad.
Bryan had his mask on the whole time - it's a pretty good one too, I'd say, as we could still hear his voice clearly.
Asbestos and Lead paint comes to mind.
WOW. thanks for this. i’m a physical therapist and this was quite the intrigue. thanks also for your bravery in such a sketchy place. i’m not a risk taker so i live thru u all 👍 and good on u both to put safety first.
It’s such a shame. That place genuinely looked like it used to be a really beautiful building.
Yes indeed, I found myself saying "damn, that's hella ornate" at multiple points while watching. I'm sure it was magnificent.
So sad they just let it rot away.
Oooh mk3!
In this episode we're exploring an abandoned school of physiotherapy
Located in the mountains of Germany.
Opened in the 1930's
This school taught students human anatomy
and how to cure ailments with physical therapy.
Until the building became over crowded
It was replaced in the 2000's
and has been abandoned ever since.
...
Join us as we explore what remains.
That was a low key flow
When you said we really need to leave, there's nowhere left that's safe I was thinking I don't think there's an inch of that building that is safe! And Then you went Further into the depths of hell and destruction 😮 That's the worst building for collapse at any point I've ever seen. I was biting my nails watching and I don't normally! What a stunning building and so strange how some rooms looked perfect to still live in ❤️
old homes with no creaking is actually bad very bad. 😱😱
How do?
How so?
@@MrCamsoup it means the wood is all saturated, and that's really not safe
it's sad it was in such bad shape, the architecture was so amazing and beautiful!
Holy crap, it's insane to see stuff so new, in a building deteriorated so much!
What strikes me is also how that building took such a beating in such a few years.
julosx Mother nature will take that one back when she decides it is definitely doing so very quickly with this one
Such a shame, it is such a beautiful building too. Even if there was enough money, I doubt it would be salvageable with that much structural damage.
Deam i Don't even recognize this place anymore... Was there 2 years ago 😢
How intact was the place when you went?
I'm glad there are people out there documenting these buildings, cuz lord knows I'll never make it to them in time
I know there's bound to be people who disagree, but as far as I'm concerned you guys don't really need to fall through a floor and die trying to entertain me...
Nightshade1212525 - But think of the views that they would get!
@Bill Williams Yeah, that was another one I looked at a bit askance.
Omg I wish they risked more and explore more maybe get some kind of rope and hook and just slide across unstable floor
@@harshnemesis Hmm...These are _The Proper People_ , not Indiana Jones...lol ;)
That's what I was thinking. I mean, the video turned out to be super interesting, so I appreciate it. But damn, they really didn't have to do all this, I still would've watched it.
The “jammed” typewriter is an electrified Adler Universal desktop machine, also sold as a Triumph, as pictured. Keys sound okay, it probably would work if you could find power.
Why is this interesting you ask?
The mechanical version of this typewriter, badged an Adler, is Jack Torrence’s typewriter in The Shining (1980).
I understand this may be a far ways away , but Camp Hero , Montuak , New York is a great place to explore . It has and interesting back story , it is a decommissioned Military Air Base that took part is several illegal government projects involving Nazis , Kidnapping , mind control , and other weird events. Although illegal to trespass , In your other videos (Which I love to watch as an active subscriber) you guys seem to break the law . I really believe that this would be an interesting , and amazing experience for you guys .
Camp hero is just a block of concrete today the underground levels are blocked of for ever
We went in that place in the 1970’s when some personnel were still stationed as guards. We crawled in under the fence from a bluff--dug our way beneath, then walked around. Despite being fenced in, there wasn’t much to see. There were barrack like buildings, locked, covered with gray asbestos shingles. What little could be seen inside was workbenches, assorted tools, all coated in dust and mold. There were a lot of cement foundations where buildings had been, but now overgrown. Near the proper entrance there was a small barrack still in use as evidenced by a standard US Govt. issue black sedan parked beside it. My cousin Pete boosted me up to a back window. Inside was an office with standard govt. issue metal desk, wheeled office chairs, a mimeograph machine on a table, a two-way radio phone and filing cabinets. While we were still behind the office, we heard a vehicle on gravel, so we bolted back into the woods to get out of eyeshot, then walked as quickly and quietly as we dared until we came to the perimeter fence. It wasn’t where we’d dug in, but we found a place between poles, wide enough at the top to squeeze through. We took off through the woods until we found the access road from which we knew we’d be able to find our way into town. I remember discovering we were absolutely covered in ticks of all sizes and colors, some of them actually pretty except they were blood sucking ticks! We ended up taking turns stripping naked behind some pine trees, so got most of them out of our clothes, hair, and bodies. I later found one attached and sucking in my right armpit, and my aunt discovered another in Marjorie’s scalp. “Where’ve you kids been all day?” my Dad asked. We told a half truth lie that we’d walked along the LIRR tracks to the end of the line in town. I haven’t been back to that area in well over a decade.
There’s another USArmy owned area about 50 miles east of Camp Hero on the North Shore. It was known as Defense Hill and there were missile silos located beyond the gate house. When a school child, I knew a boy who lived in the base housing off 25-A. The school bus picked up and dropped off a small number of children at a gated sentry booth about a half mile from the main entrance.
Some of those mattresses looked in almost perfect condition
Man, I’ve seen every single video from them! I love it!
At least it was abandoned for a good reason this time! Awesome video!
It’s such a shame that this all went downhill so fast. I bet it was a beautiful building back in the day. Another great video guys!! So excited for another one! You guys are my favs.
dude what happened to your respirator?? you absolutely need it in a place like that
09cokeefe you only need one if there is a lot of aspestos
Mixer -LukeChapman Mold’s not good either.
Linus Wärn mold’s not in the air so chances of breathing it is is very slim
09cokeefe won’t do anything anyways…
Another great video. Hope your future explorations take you beyond the US and Europe...
xrarnax SOVIET RUSSIA. I had to insert this somewhere and here seems good
And China
You guys were curious about the different room structures. In most school areas they would have had set ups for things like whole apartments with a bedroom and bathroom made to to scale. A physiotherapist working in the community would need to know best ways to transfer, and treat patients in a home like environment. Alternatively some schools would be used as actual functional clinics where students would work with real patients to gain confidence and skill. One thing we often do to assist people, is to do what we call ADL (Activities of Daily living) testing or training where we get patients and families to show us how they would do certain activities at home. things like bed to chair transfers, toileting and transfer in and out of a bathtub and the ability to make meals are really important skills to an injured or disabled person.
Beautiful explore, Love how one area sits untouched and the next is like an earthquake hit it . Lots of beautiful rooms .. Thank you for bringing us along for the journey.
Oh I've been dying to see this video since you vlogged about it. Thank you! Are you sure this place was abandoned only 18 years ago? It looks like it's been abandoned for several decades.
It comes with the high amount of rain. Also it is a mostly wooden structure so as soon as tha water finds a way in, the building is gone
@@MrManniG maybe the foundation to hm it kind of makes wonder about those mountains
It's amazing how quickly buildings deteriorate without maintenance.. If I was somebody that owned a building maintenance company I would use your videos as selling points for my business..
Please be careful guys- be safe including proper PPE. It was scary watching this and I want you to stick around and continue to explore cool places!
Why is there one guy not wearing a respirator? I guess he is like most young men, they don't think the danger is really there.
There is a saying: We spend the first half of our lives trying to ruin our health, and the second half trying to save it.
Yay! New Proper people video ! That's made my Friday night much better! Xxx
Another amazing explore. You guys are the best of the best with locations, your photography and even the way guys interact with one another. Definitely an inspiration to get out there and film our world!!
I really like how you guys take time to look at everything. Makes it more enjoyable to watch. 🙂
What’s crazy is the amount of structural deterioration doesn’t equate to the level of cosmetic deterioration. I’ve seen far worse in larger buildings, but the appearance of prolonged water damage was more evident.
Watching this explore actually gave me anxiety,. Brave lads . Thankyou 🙏
As usual, great explore guys! Thanks so much, and I'm glad y'all didn't fall thru the floor of that building!!!
Dang !! Awesome video.. I love the way you both cover a lot in your exploring. Thank you soo much for visiting this place.
really good video! and the quality is amazing, like always :D
Its incredible to see just how fast certain buildings deteriorate.
17:45 really reminds of a scene from "The Last Of Us"
Oh damn
I thought that early when they were in a room and you could hear the birds chirping
OMG guys! This one really scared me. So glad you both are very experienced and know where to go and where not to go. That fountain was sadly beautiful. What a shame it'll die with the building. Thanks for your bravery.
Wow that place was really falling in. A lot of cool stuff left behind. Love the video and happy exploring! 🤟
The shot of the most growing in the room sent shivers up my spine.
Hi always enjoy watching. Thank you. Michael I totally could enjoy watching more if we all could see you protecting your health. Thanks for another great video.
Great stuff as always guys fn awesome. Keep them coming. Thanks Cheers from Minden Ontario Canada

That has to be the most incredible explore I've seen on UA-cam! I think I held my breath the whole time, lol! What an awesome building that must have been in its day. The fountain was gorgeous! Thanks for the chance to see this place before it was gone forever!!!!!
Thanks for braving this one guys......absolutely awesome!
This is insane. I don't think I've ever seen a building this decayed.

I just now found your channel . Loving it . Very well done and the editing rocks .
Great tour thank you be safe
Well done! Thanks for the explore.
I would like to see more abandoned places like this e.g schools or hospitals I find them interesting to watched .
I also liked the ambience of your music/soundtrack 👍 .
Who ever is editing the sound and the audio quality should be given a medal! Do you have any specs for equipment used?
Awesome place guys! Loved the moss in the one room and the room with the tv 📺 Great quality and awesome cinematic style.
Crying shame to see a lot of that plaster work go to waste. The old coal burning mantle stove would command a pretty penny to antique collectors. There's still so much of that stuff in Europe that I don't think they appreciate it.
That gorgeous fountain should've been removed.
love proper ppl videos been following them since the start! one of the few ppl who given me inspiration to keep posting videoa of my own expores :D love the video
Great video. Thanks for filming.
you should get a drone too.
so you can see past the more unsafe parts without risking oneself.

This was some scary exploration there. I'm glad you guys were being safe in where you could go and not to take a chance on.
