Honestly this is some of the best content on UA-cam- I’m always shocked at the consistent quality, the good choice of song selection, and the general effort and enthusiasm that is evident in each video. I love this arrangement so much! I am a percussionist who is about to be a senior in high school and my school has something we call Drumshow each year. I have been a part of it since my freshman year (literally living my dream that started way back in 2013 when i saw my first Drumshow). I really want to arrange something for it and I decided on arranging Gusty Garden Galaxy because its a really good piece and it will make my Drumshow experience come full circle by connecting it back to a song of my childhood. I would really love to arrange this version as it is so unique and it includes more than just Gusty Garden Galaxy so it'll include more of my childhood. Long story short, I love this arrangement and would love to arrange it for a full percussion ensemble if I have your permission to do so. As a musician and an arranger, I would feel much better about arranging it knowing I'm given the go-ahead because you truly deserve the credit for this incredible arrangement!
Amazing work on this! The video effects and adding in gameplay footage was a really nice touch and likely helped your viewers that aren't as intimately familiar with the themes/styles of each galaxy. If you do another medley like this, it might be a cool effect to play with changing the sound to be more muffled and echo-y when the gameplay footage has the player underwater (a la Mario, Banjo-Kazooie, and plenty others), especially since in this one you included two different water based galaxies. Just a thought though; I love listening to and watching your arrangements! Keep up the amazing work!

Ooh, a title text! And Gusty Garden galaxy! I definitely agree, the secondary theme of the song I feel is the theme of Super Mario Galaxy. Just encompasses the whole feel of the games in it! Love the major 7th chords at 1:15! Add some cool flavor. The Melty Molten bit is really great stuff - that's easily one of my favorite galaxies! And I love how you took the more flowing, slow part of Buoy Base, while keeping the steady beat in the bass. The battlerock style also works wonderfully, love the color change as well! Space junk keeps those maj7's, great! Lovely transition to Good Egg, as well. And that solo at the end is fantastic, giving the base chords some of your own flavor. Fantastic bit with the ending, love the callbacks. Also great work with the video edit! Solid layouts and style changes help with giving each part its own feel. Just a great cover. I think I'll buy this one (Oh yeah, I finally could make a paypal so I can BUY YOUR SONGS HOORAY!!), along with lots of other ones from this year! Keep it up!

I am at a loss for words. This is fucking beyond brilliant. I honestly almost got a little teary-eyed listening to this. The Gusty Garden theme, as everybody knows, is a masterpiece in and of itself, but the way you infused all of the different flavors from the themes of the other galaxies made this all the more special. You were able to maintain the integrity of the Gusty Garden theme, all while providing me with heavy doses of the sweet nostalgia associated with playing the Battlerock, Buoy Base, Good Egg and Beach Bowl Galaxies for the first time. Thank you for this wonderful creation.

This is the song that got me to start listening to your music. My dad has a ton of soundtracks and soundtrack arrangements installed in his car and one day we were driving and this came on and I recognized the song, but had never heard this cover. I was instantly intrigued to listen to more of your music and now I've listened to a ton of your arrangements and I am blown away at how they're always so consistently amazing. Years later I came back to this song and it's still amazing! Keep up the great work, man!

tbh I actually wouldn't mind if you just provided the music from the respective *levels and just have the titles of each track instead? There was a few times the little video covered your own parts like at 0:49.

i think the little video screen was important for people who haven't played the games before, but you're right - I think I'd edit things slightly differently in the future to avoid having the gameplay footage cover up the other shots!

Absolutely phenomenal. Mario Galaxy's OST is my favourite of all time, and this did justice (and then some) to its most iconic tracks. Calling this a pleasure to listen to is an understatement, amazing job!

This is truly amazing. The dynamics, the accents, and just the video quality. Super Mario Galaxy was my very first Mario game and it's still my favorite to this day. I have very fond memories of playing it as a kid, and this brings back all of them. Thank you for this wonderful medley. You earned a subscriber out of me today.

I am at a loss for words. This is fucking beyond brilliant. I honestly almost got a little teary-eyed listening to this. The Gusty Garden theme, as everybody knows, is a masterpiece in and of itself, but the way you infused all of the different flavors from the themes of the other galaxies made this all the more special. You were able to maintain the integrity of the Gusty Garden theme, all while providing me with heavy doses of the sweet nostalgia associated with playing the Battlerock, Buoy Base, Good Egg and Beach Bowl Galaxies for the first time.
