I had the E for 3 years. And it scared the shit out of me every day. Unbelievable that it's still getting the special attention that it deserves 15+ years later. Beast.
Nice video. I went with the CLS55 but both are amazing vehicles. IMO the CLS is one of the most beautiful 4 doors ever designed. I preferred the CLS interior and I have found the stock exhaust note in the CLS to be more aggressive than the E55 and I can run 305's in the back without issue. That said.......no doubt that the E55 has better interior space, especially in the back, has better visibility (CLS A pillars are HUGE and I always have to double check my sight lines) and is more of an evil sleeper, especially the wagon. Either way you can't go wrong. The M113K will go down as one of the best combustion engines. The endless torque always puts a huge smile on my face.
MrSnowford the dash on the CLS looks more modern and the exterior is jaw droppingly gorgeous. Every time I see a CLS it always commands my attention, it’s just beautiful. The prefacelift (55 models) are the best looking imo.
215Cormega had one.. sold it a year ago and damn I missed it. The E55 is nice but nothing beats those lines and shape of that CLS has a very nice road presence. People were always looking at my cls since it looks like no other Benz. I have some videos of my exhaust it was amazing. Miss it!

I had the W220 AMG for roughly 3 years and i miss it every day. it was every bit as clean as the cars in this video. sadly the hydraulic suspension was too troublesome compared to the air suspension of the W211 and W219. The M113K is a great motor, and I vow to own one of these 2006 AMG sedan models again someday.
