There was one! Where it felt too good (and also slightly out of composition). :D The second "Hunter revives Moon" scene, the one with over-the-top quality. Moon flying felt off because in this scene she doesn't fly, so the whole "realistic to in-game logic" feel that is kept throughout everything before it suddenly breaks. That felt awkward. Nothing bad about high quality, that first line was a joke, in case you didn't get it. Just that sudden "that didn't happen" feeling that makes it awkward and slightly out of place.

I guess my feeling of it being somewhat wrong actually stems from it looking _too much_ like in the game. As in, it seems like Moon is slapped 2.5d flat against the wall. She looks too small from that perspective, especially considering how FoV is through the roof, so the room itself feels much bigger. But yes, at closer look - it's still mostly realistic. Aside from her arm, which looks too flimsy. Cannot justify that bit.
Unrelated, but as I said on another comment: I feel like the song also influences a lot, especially the mood of the animation. I noticed there are a few parts with the wind blowing through, and I kinda feel that in the music too. The lyrics seem to be about loss in a manner to me, and no matter how far you go, it will always stick with you and blow like the wind. It’s still there, and sometimes it can be a melody, or a painful reminder. Listening to this song makes me want everything to be emotional, and I want to give it my all. I don’t know if the animators felt it too. Even if I don’t have the skill to do anything, it makes me want to achieve something. It makes me want to try.
@@farresalt4381 it probably looks out of place because of that and the fact people associate moon with a robot. although she is the same-ish (ish added because of the limbs) in the game, it looks uncanny because artists give moon segmented body parts and more robotic features, and we tend to accept it because it’s familiar to our world even if she isn’t like that :/. Same with people giving riv an eel tail sometimes because they associate him with a salamander. Could be wrong tho, im not a professional at these things
I love 1:56. I'm so used to Rivulet being portrayed as this cute, braindead, hyperactive little thing, but when you think about it, they're quite a majestic creature, especially considering the events of their campaign itself. I might be overreacting, but I feel like this scene does this side of their character some justice.

This has got to be one of the best rainworld maps I’ve seen, all the parts flow together so well, but by far the most impressive part is that all the participants manage to draw and animate echos perfectly
Seeing Arti's pups in Rubicon was a nice easter egg to when the devs said "all slugpups go to hell" but also kinda sad 😭😭. all jokes aside tho this is probably the highest quality MAP I have ever seen for Rain World, and paired with a banger song as well! All the different animation styles flowed together so well and nothing felt out of place. 10/10, I only discovered it a couple hours ago and already rewatched it like 7 times!
THIS IS SO FLIPPIN GOOD, rain world's story is so heart warming and breaking at the same time, it put me in tears watching, you HAVE to know and understand the game and lore to really feel the emotion in this, and i am so glad i can feel what the artists wanted to portray, this was unbelievably well animated for ONLY 7.5K LIKES IN 2 MONTHS? unfair, this deserves so much love and attention, ANIMATION IS HARD! this is QUALITY! the story is soo good Dx words cannot describe how i felt about this, but its ASTOUNDING! i hope to see more of rainworld community rise
I’m absolutely blown away by this. The part that impressed me the most was actually the void flash effect at 3:53. It was spot-on, exactly like the game, and that can’t have been easy to do.
Seeing rainwolrd map’s are almost always somewhat makes me feel old for me, i just remember seeing some parts of the map months ago then to just suddenly see it finished

I think the pixel graphics and difficulty throw people off. The main thing it's praised for is realism, despite the pixel graphics, which might confuse people. And it's also harder than dark souls III. -someone who never played any dark souls games (and probably never will)
This MAP is so underrated; it’s one of the best I have ever seen. Everyone did an amazing job evoking so much emotion out of their animations through Rainworld’s story. You guys are awesome! Thank you so much for your hard work!
This is the best map I've seen on Rain World. no animations made on the knee, no poor drawing, no unnecessary moments. Great respect to the authors of this map 
This Rain World map is without a doubt the best of all, all the characters and settings are illustrated to perfection so much so that even Videocult has posted the map. Thank you animators for being part of this beautiful and great community.
Fun fact: when you complete saint's campaign, they become echo, and there are gold things around them. These things are called "chains" in game files, because echoes are forever trapped in this world. Just thought that it's cool :)
I think at the end, the Saint is'nt and echoe at all, like a half echoe/half living creature, due it's power. There are a whole teory about that in youtube.
I think it's less that Saint became an echo and more that it is revealed to you its always been one. Try resetting the campaign and the menu art won't change.
What if, and hear me out, Saint became The Watcher? I mean think about it? It is heavily implied that he has a strong connection to them just by his name alone.
This had me silently Screaming, I was actually shaking a little bit Every single section was gorgeous. Even the more “basic” styles were so stylized and aesthetically appealing, every single clip could stand up with the others as a masterpiece. And sadly, I don’t feel that way about most MAPs I watch. But this one was so perfectly paired together that the changes in style didn’t feel jarring. Every artist brought beauty to this project. It stole my breath away. I cannot praise this video enough. I’m gonna watch it again now :)

i've said it before and ill say it again. rain world community makes some of the most jaw dropping animations every 4 seconds i swear to god. its like fucking clockwork.
This is by far the most beautiful rainworld MAP that I’ve seen. Every artist did so well and this gave me so much motivation to animate. I also love this song too, and the parts in order of the rainworld timeline just made everything feel so complete.

This is absolutely the best rainworld map I've ever seen, up there with A Turtle's Heart back in the early days of the fandom as one of my all time favorites. Everyone did an absolutely phenomenal job, I love everything about this. The character animation and capturing the personalities of the slugcats, the backgrounds and the detail in them making it feel like the living breathing world the game protrays, the participants did a fantastic job with everything. 3:18 Saint is often portrayed as this goofy lil floofy boi with a gun, but here shows how menacing saint truly is. Saint's a godlike entity, and this really emphasized that. Amazing!

I lost my mind while watching this MAP because i quite literally have never seen one as good as this in a HOT MINUTE and it is all so incredibly animated. I may be 3 weeks late but im still allowed to praise this MAP and all it's animators for doing an OUTSTANDING job
This masterpiece was so fun to watch, it all looks so good and insanely well made, down to even small little details. Fair to say I was absolutely shocked by all the animators works!!!

i REALLY love the detail at 3:10 where saint’s three spots glow as their eyes open to ascend Moon, the amount of times i have rewatched and thought about this map is unreal
Something I’d like to mention. I just remembered the definition of a “poltergeist.” it’s basically a ghost, but it can interact with physical objects. If we say that echoes are “ghosts” then Saint would BE a poltergeist. Edit: I would pay actual money to have the sleep saint and echo at the end in a hour loop

Felt epic moment of saint on this part 3:203:35 Saint is pacifist fluffy slugcat who travel in the changed world surrounding with snow to find the answer of ascend or the way to end itself from endless loop 3:47 "everything is alright, you will be okay" Rivulet is cheerful, energetic slugcat who go through dangerous journeys with pure heart. Even after mission complete it still come visit moon from time to time until the end After playing rain world, Saint and rivulet had became my favourite slugcat❤
I would be downright sobbing if i wasnt preventing myself from doing so. This is just- wow, I would day amazing but that doesnt cut it. Its otherworldly, I can feel the emotion and thought drawn into every animators FP. Just wow

HOLY HECK this is GORGEOUS!! the composition, the flow, the transitions between the parts-- i got chills on literally every drop, and on most of the parts too. genuinely one of the best maps ive EVER seen. kudos to EVERYONE who worked on this part. every single part was gorgeous, truly. gonna find some new animators to follow from this one

This is absolutely the best rainworld map I've ever seen, up there with A Turtle's Heart back in the early days of the fandom as one of my all time favorites. Everyone did an absolutely phenomenal job, I love everything about this. The character animation and capturing the personalities of the slugcats, the backgrounds and the detail in them making it feel like the living breathing world the game protrays, the participants did a fantastic job with everything. Absolutely breathtaking project
The more I learn about and play Rain World the better this map gets; it genuinely has EVERYTHING. I cannot get over it omg.

Saint is often portrayed as this goofy lil floofy boi with a gun, but here shows how menacing saint truly is. Saint's a godlike entity, and this really emphasized that. Amazing!

I lost my mind while watching this MAP because i quite literally have never seen one as good as this in a HOT MINUTE and it is all so incredibly animated. I may be 3 weeks late but im still allowed to praise this MAP and all it's animators for doing an OUTSTANDING job

This is GORGEOUS. the scenery is the main part of it, It helps with the emotion of the MAP part. Everyone in this did so good. This has to be one of the best rain world MAPS i’ve seen so far.

Something I’d like to mention.
I just remembered the definition of a “poltergeist.” it’s basically a ghost, but it can interact with physical objects. If we say that echoes are “ghosts” then Saint would BE a poltergeist.
Edit: I would pay actual money to have the sleep saint and echo at the end in a hour loop

Saint is pacifist fluffy slugcat who travel in the changed world surrounding with snow to find the answer of ascend or the way to end itself from endless loop

Rivulet is cheerful, energetic slugcat who go through dangerous journeys with pure heart. Even after mission complete it still come visit moon from time to time until the end
