Hello! Its me, the person who decided to do 4 parts for this! One of them was speedran in under a day, and I also managed to get a thumbnail submission done. Despite that, everyone did amazing and I really like how everyone's parts flowed into one another.

YEEEEE!!!! You did really well for your first MAP, by the way! Your part being the only one with the lyrics in a prominent place was a bit silly to me, but the typography and placement of the numbers in the scene itself was amazing and made it all flow nicely ^^
Coming from the Hollow Knight fandom with exactly 3 MAPs into the Rain World fandom that makes a new MAP like twice a month was... Certainly interesting Edit: 4 now but still-
I think Rain World has the advantage of really simple designs for the main creatures (slugcats), whereas with Hollow Knight you get intimidated by how to draw cloaks and armor (calling myself out here LMAO)
Man I just love these kinds of MAPs so much. A lot of the super popular ones are completely frame by frame or well tweened and beautifully shaded with (no offense) kinda generic art styles sometimes, where consistency is prioritized over variety and there are like 6,000 rules to follow. It's really nice to see all these different skill levels and watching the parts of rising animators who are just trying to get involved. Good job to everyone who participated, this MAP is so cool and I can't wait to see more MAPs like this!
Hehehehehe, rules are for sticks-in-the-mud /silly I actually have an idea for another MAP, this one would have a collaborative script-as in, everyone works together to put the script in place so that, while it's all cohesive and everything gets a good amount of screentime, each person working on the MAP has helped put together the story the MAP would follow. That one might take a bit longer than this one did, though ^^
YEAH!! Firefish did great with that part! I'm an atmospherics girlie so the snow itself is what activated the neurons on my end, but it was all so good!

The weird mix of [events / characters] that exist in game and many that just don’t in this is a bit disorienting. What was the reasoning behind that? And with the ordering of the scenes. It just seems… really random and kinda incoherent. Not really telling a story here.
This was a MAP, or a multi-animator project. Basically a buch of people made little animations with little tono direction, so i makes sense why its a bit disorienting!
@@dawnstarpro3620 usually they have some kind of organisation with intent to tell a story, making one with no direction seems like setting it up for failure to me
