I wonder when they added that feature to ACLOG. I used one of your older videos to originally interface it with another piece of software and getting rid of the extra software will be nice.
Well, I downloaded ACLog, made some contacts, seems like WSJT-x is logging my contacts. BUT, I cannot find any contacts in my log. IS there some way I can find the WSJT log somewhere and import it into this ACLog pgm?
Thanks for commenting. If it is logging to ACLog you will see it immediately in ACLog main window. To import WSJT-X log into ACLog, in WSJT-X, go to File and Open Log Directory. You should see your log there. It Is the .adi file extension. Import that one into ACLog and you'll be caught up. I hope this helps. Best 73 and good DX!
When I click on the interface in AClog then choose a contact from the waterfall and click to contact that person, AClog opens up with a new empty log. What I want is to have it open at #30 with the 29 previous contacts showing below it. Is that possible? I stopped the attempt there so I would not lose the 29 ctx in the log. Hopefully they will show up if the contact is made and logged. Hope this is clear enough for you. I just upgraded Win from 10 to 11 and lost my previous logging method. ( I usually make 50 DX ctx per log and send them to Lotw.) 73 W7IBI
It’s nice to hear from you Chris and thank you for commenting. I am not following, when you double-click on a callsign to start a FT8 transmission, it opens ACLog? I always have ACLog running minimized and after I click log QSO in WSJT-X, it sends the contact to ACLog. How my logged contacts are shown is determined in ACLog by choosing ascending or descending. Click on the top of the column, REC# and it will change for you. If you want I can send you a screen shot. My e-mail is good on QRZ.com. Thanks and 73 and good DX!
Nice straightforward description of the process. I use QRZ and LOTW and have thought about checking the others out. I try to catch any POTA I see on FT8 and occasionally hook up the Mic to chase POTA and get my feet back on the ground. 73 Ken KA5HFE
Hey, thanks for commenting and it’s good to hear from you. I don’t always use my rig control with my logging programs, but I do use it with WSJT-X. I hope that answers your question. 73 and good DX! 😊
@@HamRadioAdventures what i was trying to ask, can I use this software for logging not using rig control. I do not, cannot use rig control, so will this still log my contacts?
@@richsabo1 RR In ACLog, transceiver setup, disable(stop) polling. Or, just don't setup Transceiver control in ACLog and it won't start polling. Polling means it is trying the connection to the rig. I use it like that with WSJT-X. WSJT-X copies over the freq., mode, etc. GL and hope to catch you on the air! 73!
Great video I am learning a lot and how to use ACLOG. There is one thing that annoys me a lot in this video and that is those blasted mouse trails you have turned on. Sorry, but the trails are no fun to watch them dribble across the screen. This is my only critique of the video and it is merely a personal preference. Suffice to say I don't have mouse trails enabled on either my desktop or my laptop. 73
It’s nice to hear from you and thanks for your input. That trail wasn’t on many of my videos and I don’t use it any more. Thank you and I hope to hear you on the air. 73 and good DX!

Thank you so much have been going crazy trying to figure out how to get it to log itself
Thank you so much for commenting, it really means a lot. Best 73 and hope to hear you on. de KØPIR
