Started at 443 and currently at 365 (7 months), another 80 to go and will be at my college weight (back in 1998), definitely love how I am looking.
Keep it Bruh!! Proud of you!!
How often did you hit the gym? Was your story more cardio or weights? What did for meals consist of?
LessssGooooo!!!!
Congrats my man! Keep it going!!!
@@marquitrasmith875 sorry for the lateness, I follow a 16/8 intermittent fasting (only eat from 2pm-10pm), drink 95% water (100%apple juice mixed with water 5%), workout 1.5 hours a day (including cardio) now at 90lbs down.!! Should be at 100lbs by next week then working on losing another 50 by February
“I’m eating for results, NOT for taste“. Thank you for that. I like that approach, I want the best out of ME. But I’m happy he said that, I never heard it that way. Although I know he said that doesn’t work for him. Thx for the clarification.
He said he DOESN'T follow that mindset, others do, and that's not for him
@@j_allen2099 Yep exactly. But there's always a way to eat for BOTH taste and results
Amen
That's the opposite of what he said lol
I genuinely felt that sweet/sugar addiction comment… I’ve battled with that and binge eating for the past five yrs. it’s super hard to kick that addiction.. but I’ve finally overcame
Stay strong my guy keep pushing.
That's great!
I'm battling with sugar addiction. Seems impossible to kick. Good deal you overcame it bro💯
Very helpful and inspiring! Struggling with my weight for years but was 325 at my heaviest, and now I'm at 255lbs. Consistency over intensity. Thanks Brix for keeping us all accountable to reach our goals and these success stories mean alot. My goal is 200lbs and I'm 46 and 6'3. Much love.
This is similar to my journey. I was 325 in April 2011. By May 2014, I got to 230. Late 2023, I shot up to 287. I am now 264 today. Keep working 💪🏾
I lost 57lbs in 3 months. It’s effort, discipline and consistency. I have 40 more to lose.
I hope you crush it!
How ??
@Paityn Rhoad does this include sugars from fruits?
Did you do a lot of cardio or more of weight training?
Bro he reminds me of Mike Rashid. And That's a huge compliment.
Thanks sooo much for that🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Man, this dude's story resonates! 6'1, 365lbs, and TIRED of being over 300lbs. Need to get back in shape...
Hey man thanks. Just take the first step and the rest will follow
@@1realdude1 hey man your very inspirational. Do you any other videos? You kept starting to get into your workout but then the subject got changed.
@@chuckasher3247 thanks and I’m glad I was able to inspire🙏🏽🙏🏽
DAMN! You okay? Be careful. Your knees are in danger.
You can do it !!
I totally understand this brother... I think its harder for ex athletes due to the mental of I can do anything!!! And the unspoken depression of what happens when playing your sport is over. Thats a real struggle. Congrats to him and all of us whos waking up to take our lives back. Its 105 days til I turn 50, and Im documenting my journey
Dam on the same journey,
Maaaaaan. Finally someone said it. "I'm addicted to sweets." Sugar is a MFR.
Sugar brings a quick high. Addiction forms when we use highs to combat lows
been following you for years brix! lost 45 lbs last 2019 from 205 to 160 just by being inspired by your videos and doing the work, sadly i regained all those weight back and more during the pandemic and im 211 lbs now. I hope to have that drive back again. Godbless you
Depending on how tall you are 211 ain't bad.
@@UCONN_HUSKIES yeah forgot to mention im 5'7, 211 is very bad like category 2 obesity
@@fase7338 BMI isn’t everything tho honestly
Vegeta is only 5'6
Stay motivated 💪🏿
Are you weight lifting, especially compound exercises? Weights increases your metabolism so it's less likely to comeback and changes your body composition.
In the hospital because of covid im so ready to get back home a make a change this was well needed brother
Get better fam
You will overcome COVID. Come out that hospital swinging
Get well soon B
Brix… This was a great interview… ThankYou
I am so glad to see ex-athletes take care of themselves. Because so many have passed away from the fork and spoon. Keep up the good work! Because being big is almost a death sentence.
Great talk fam... I luv the way you slowed it down to point out the pertinent info(no excuses for what we do merely justifications)... stay the course and thanx for sharing the wealth!
Man this video bless my soul! Much respect to both of you for the transparency. I'm former military @ 310 and the struggle is real. Yall help me realize that sometimes you gotta dial it back, don't overthink it, and just move. Keep it simple and build from there. Big fan Brix! Much spiritual success to both of you!
Brix is a fit and wellness legend 💯
Man, these interviews are dope! So great to see into the minds of people who've succeeded in this game.
Great video a lot of good information and the lighting and camera quality is awesome
Excellent episode family!!!!
His discipline is on another level.

You pushed me to keep going thanks brother blessed you
listening to others stories is a MUST. success leaves clues.. SUCCESS LEAVES CLUES. thank you Brix for sharing these clues
This is quite an accomplishment 🙌🏾💪🏾
Yurrr BRIX ALL DAY!!
Great video and testimony!💪🏿
I absolutely love these interviews!
Amazing work brother
Really Appreciate these talks of all the struggles that you guys encountered but still found the will ,purpose strength to keep pushing 💪
Your intro is what made me immediately subscribe the other day! I use to be in great shape, 4 years later after a abusive relationship and 2 children I’m so out of shape! My goal is to get back into the best shape of my life and because a trainer my dream before I got with my now ex! Your videos are so inspiring!
Lol I’m a girl so I’m gonna show HIM what he missed out on lol but thank you!
Good shit guy's. Coming from letting myself go. Being content, death, divorce, moving etc. And a ex athlete myself it's mental draining to say the least to getting back but the journey and outlook of new life is worth it in the end. Neep grinding to everybody ! Hold yourself accountable because your mind and health for yourself is most important. 💯
Good video... You guys should make this a series.
Great content keep up the good work and that trac at the was 🔥 🔥!!
I'm feeling these interviews and the stories. You onto something with this! And that song during the workout? 🔥🔥🔥 Who is that!?
April 22 2021 296lbs. September 20 today I'm 219 lbs. Without exercise or gym just changed what I eat and drink.
A lot of value bro… #MatchTheVibe😎
It’s funny I was watching another one of your videos. Then this one came up afterwards. I was kinda in the middle of sleeping and heard wayday from IG. So I don’t woke up a rewinded the video. I started that program in late 2019. I was a huge success and have been able to keep the weight off during quarantine and beyond. I started at 395, the lowest I got was 265 and right now I’m about 275. What intrigued me was you saying your program has a sprint into a transition. I find myself doing good on his program but I always wonder If it’s sustainable. I pretty much eat the same foods and measurements daily. It doesn’t bother me but it was nice to hear their an alternative. I don’t know who to sign up or get on the waiting list for you program but I’m down to try it. Thanks for al the helpful support and motivation! Salute my G
Great video Champ! #motivation #consistency
Good message and video bro 🤙🏽
I know it's gonna be tough. I just know it! Thanks for the vid
I can appreciate this. Because I got up to 370. But I have gotten all the way to 255. But we just had a kid I jump back to 258. So I know what I gotta do now. Thanks my brother
Dope vid bro… salute 🦁🏁
Great experience to share with us, thank you.

Solid salute to y’all Brothers. We all ExFatGang. 135lbs down for me an picked 30lbs up to stay solid. Y’all stay the course Kings.
How did you lose weight?
@@SteveStFelix Caloric deficit with proper nutrition. Water intake is always a gallon a day. Resistance training with calisthenics an weightlifting. Staying active but also allowing my body to recover. Remaining patient, consistent an not comparing myself to anyone else.
Thank you 😊👍
Awesome interview Brix. I’m in the same place as he was before dropping. Shazammed that Thonio. Hot 🎼 thanks.
This is a powerful video. I cant wait to show you my results once I'm done training myself. True inspiration to men & women across the world. Thank you for grind & influencing others to work on their purpose!!! #RESPECT
FAAAAAAK 125!!!!! That's some crazy SHiiiiii!!!! Hats off to him! I needed this, Ima get my ass in gear! Much Obliged!
Man I have an identical situation. This is an inspiration. Just hit the scale today 364. Gained 125 since college. I’m starting now.
Hey D P, Just wondering how your weight loss going? I weigh as much as you did when you wrote your comment 360lbs.
@@dfletcher2007 I’m 321 now. Trying to get under 300 before may. I’m slowing incorporating more workout. I just committed to only one serving of what ever I eat. No seconds and no sugar as in no desserts. Black coffee and water are my only two beverages.
The ad for the tshirts at the beginning is 🔥. The track playing during the gym session is wavy af too.
yo same thing I was thinking that track was supadope!

Wish dude talked more instead of being interrupted trying to insert a relatable story.
Brix talked 2xs more then his guess! I'm like damn bro we know your story already let your guess talk! 🤷🏾♂️
Seriously how rude , he just kept interrupting
Right! like damn Brix let the man talk!!!
I like brix but he has the same issue as nore on drink champs. Never Allow guest to speak.
I agree I don’t think he ever got to share what he really did
I cant lose any weight which causes me to backslide over and over. Great interview!
My man brix dropping ‘jawn’ in his lingo; love him even more now lol
I should have complimented your video knowing you’d have seen this comment. I’ve been following you for about a year now on my own journey. Trying to get a big as you have; looking swole my man! I’ve had the drive since day one but I’d be lying if I said your videos didn’t help push me through on those harder days. Keep up the great work on your channel and most importantly, your health and fitness. One love from Philly ✌🏻
Great video
That intro though! 🔥
Really enjoyed this one! As someone who gained 30lbs from the lockdowns, I relate. Prepandemic I was able to eat 3500 calories and then work it off and still look super lean and toned (I was in the gym for about 2hrs each session lifting and doing 45mins of cardio 5 days a week). Pandemic hits, along with working from home.....those calories added up!! I am still struggling to just get consistent but this def motivated me to just get off my ass
Thanks for using my song “match the vibe” In this 17mins in … appreciate y’all 💪🏾🙏🏽🙌🏾
I appreciate you!
Please get this song on Spotify, I can’t see it there 😅
Always wit da good content💪🏾💪🏾! Aye brix I need dat song at da end my g what's da link bruh it's straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯

OMG I can relate to his story so much! Everything he said is spot on! I was a Division 1 basketball player, 5'11 170lbs. I could eat whatever I wanted and still had abs. After college and sports stopped, life was fun and I started making money and was really eating good then. I gained 100lbs by the time I was 30 smh. SHIT lol... I turned it around though, but to hear him say exactly what I went through was crazy.
Appreciate the love and glad I was able to speak to something many can relate too
I was 195lbs after sports...went to 268. Down to 230, want about 10 more to go. But after college and sports is a true mofo, slowing down, partying, eating and drinking will get to you. Good work.
something that helped me stay consistent with my eating was reflecting on what types of flavors and sensation i love in food. I learned to make food that fit my eating style that satisfied those particular flavors, cravings and sensations. a healthy chili can have a similar taste profile to that pizza you're craving. or make a version of the pizza that fits your eating style.
I agree I will find a substitute for anything and my craving will be satisfied, wish I would’ve started doing that earlier
100 percent there zero carb tortillas now 93 percent fat ground turkey is fire there’s so many tweaks to fit your macros
Damn that's amazing damn, It took me a year to getting 60 pounds off I was 355 now I'm 295. Damn I got figure something out. Salute to you brother, that's great. Brixx keep up the good work
Sounds like you stuck to a calorie restriction plan?(no shade just curious)
@@Joelcebada naw you right I do. It's my fault like brixx said I need to find the movation. To get more weight off.
@@koolbeanz902 nah I was just wondering if you tried IF or any forms of fasting
@@Joelcebada another thing I'm 6'3 it been hard I started in 2020 so it's been a struggle with sweets and cheat meals. I can only blame my self.
@@koolbeanz902 aye bro I totally get it I was a sugar addict and 2020 sucked for me a ten pack of Oreos every other day and pecan swirls donuts everything but I got back to my grind November and I’m doing good just keep it up bro
Simply awesome
Salute to my man Tamon!!
Thanks
Yo!! PRICELESS 🙏🏿🙌🏿
It’s two things I can relate with… actually 3. Being a former athlete, years of pushing the body to the best of your ability day after day. When those days are over and the need to compete is not there you relax….way too much. Secondly, those sugar cravings are the devil plain and simple lol. Lastly, working hard and supporting your family is also an energy drainer.
Started my journey about a month ago I was 284 pounds been eating right for a months straight and now I’m at 274 pounds listen just keep going and enjoy the small victories
Great talk.
S/o big bruh Tamon!
Thanks for sharing brix I know the feeling when you go in the store and see all that sugar everytime I go in the store I go to the chip aisle
Dam Taco Bell ad pops up while I'm watching this 🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Love this!
Truly inspiring sir!! Thank you 🙏🏽. what’s the name of the song on the workout it goes hard
Dope testimony
Man yall just motivated me even more im 37 6,1"325
Watching this and for no reason I went for some Oreos!!! Sugar is a hell of a drug ! In my Chappell Rick James voice. lol Totally motivating!!! Thank you!!
I have found that ordering the family groceries online and picking them up curbside, instead of going into the store and doing the shopping, has really helped me not pick up snacks here and there for the ride home, or pick up treats to bring home for everybody. Also, I have had to come up with alternative snacks to the ones that I used to crave. I still mess up every so often, but it's much easier to get back on the horse when I know the right kind of snacks I need.
I saw 310 3 weeks ago and I have been in the gym twice a day ever since. Down 37 lbs so far. This type of inspiration will get me to the finish line.
37 lbs down in 3 wks????
@@losmit2194 42 now in 28 days
@@losmit2194 I was 320 28 days ago now I'm 278
When you're as fat as I am, weight comes of quickly. I walk 12 miles a day on no less than a 8.5 incline and intervals of 15 incline at 3.5 mph. I'm in the gym 3 times at least every 24 hours.
Most days I eat 800-1000 cals.
INSPIRATION anyone?
