I think it is one of the best running options. See, without fuel, all our cars are a dabba anyway. All we buy is a dabba, and then we put fuel in it to run. Similarly, MG also providing us a zero fuel super size car for 10 lakhs, that will go 300+ km for 1000 rupees. I know all diesel cars have capacity to go 200 km for 1000 rupees, but none of them come at 10 lakhs 😂😂😂, and for 6 lakh buy back after 3 years. I think it's one of the best offers for new customers. And Mg has proven that it's reliability is far far far beyond Tata and Mahindra.
wait till 3 years and buy it at 6.2 lac from owner who want to sell it and use it - u can save 3.8 lacs on it. or buy a used diesel car for 3 lacs and the rest 7 lacs saved can be kept in Mutual funds which will make money daily for your fuel and in time that money will double/triple.
The problem is that MG JSW is hiding things, creating uncertainty for buyers. It creates doubts that the numbers have a big sting in the tail. You cannot just sell it back for 6Lacs. You will also have to pay back the battery loan value to the finance company! So you will not be left with much of that original 10Lac. Then there is the basic problem of a small battery in a big car. That means a low range. I doubt if real range will be much more than 265-270km. and in EVs you are advised not to use the top and bottom 20% frequently, for battery longevity. So you are left with about 160km of worry-free range. JSW MG should have launched the bigger 50KWH battery for such a large car. On highway trips, you will an extra 1 hour stop after every 2hours or so, making it very impractical for highway use. That too if you happen to have a charger at just the right place. Not true for India so far.

You are the owner but you will pay 3.5 rs /KM as EMI for battery..if u run 2lakh KM by that time they will get 7 lakh rupees on battery.. electricity bill for charging is on you..
If you want total ownership that is also available. Probably they will reveal the price then. In that case expect it around 16 lakh. Which is on par with nexon. Which is smaller car. Now you decide whether you want to pay upfront 6 lakh extra or pay only as much as you use. Even if you run for 1 lakh km then you will pay 3.5 lakh. Which is better ? You don’t pay huge tax like you pay for 16 lakh car.
For comparison punch with 35kwh price starts from 12.7 lakh! You are paying 2.7 lakh more for such a tiny car. For 2.7 lakh you can run Windsor for good 77,000 km ! And for both cars you have to pay for charging. Tax paid on punch will be more than windsor.

Intelligent move, just buy car + tax, don't buy battery and save tax on it.
You pay tax for running km cost
Even if your running is below 1500 every month , you still end up paying 5000 bucks every month
