  • MG has launched Windsor EV at an attractive introductory price of Rs.9.99 Lacs (Ex-showroom). This doesn't include the Battery cost which is offered under "Battery as a service" wherein you will be required to pay Rs. 3.5 per Km. It will still be cheaper to run than a normal petrol/diesel car despite additional charging costs.
We discuss in detail the difference between all 3 variants and recommend which one deserves your hard earned money.

Excite variant is not exciting. :D
Also, now MG revealed the pricing for outright purchase.

Exactly :-). Yes, the outright purchase prices are announced and at 1Lakh KM usage under BaaS you will breakeven with outright purchase price. Of course, in outright purchase, you will need to shelve out money right now. If one's usage is going to be low, BaaS makes a lot of sense.

Excite variant is super value for money .. no one uses smart features .. they are a scam by car company to make subscriptions revenue .. super misleading video

Thanks for sharing. Excite variant helps save you about Rs. 1 Lakh over Exclusive variant but you miss out on features like 15.6" Infotainment system, 18" Alloy wheels (instead you get Steel Wheels), Power adjustable driver seat, Power folding ORVMs, 360 degree camera etc. which is a lot of kit to miss in 2024. You can pick what works best for us - our recommendation would be to try to make budget for Exclusive variant.

@@TheGearheadChronicle i dont think you have ever driven a car !! 18 inch alloys are prone to ruptures just go and ask anyone who owns a ev … also you get 10 inch infotainment system with base variant .. even high end 30 lakh cars have 10 inch infotainment systems and everyone is ok with it .. 15 inches is an overkill and more distraction .. so think again what you are getting for 1 lakh ..

Hello, a 38kWh battery is provided in all variants which is good for claimed range of 331 Km (MIDC test). It is fine for in-city usage and a variable charge of Rs.3.5/Km for Battery (under Battery as a service) is still going to mean much lower running costs than a petrol car.
