Ahh...the cycle of nature completes itself as the Jeep returns back upstream to spawn...no matter how hard the struggle these Jeep's will travel thousands of miles upstream before they die.
I definitely made it more difficult by being in the wrong gear and unlocked on the first two attempts. If you want to give it a shot here is the location. 51° 45.061'N 3° 38.629'W
Don't count your chickens just yet. Alot of that plan was dependant on the Diesel Grand Cherokee doing well, along with the diesel Cherokee. Well the GC isn't selling diesels as well as hoped, and the diesel Cherokee was cancelled for the US. So while it'd still be great to see the diesel in North America, it's still questionable if those earlier aspirations and comments are still going to hold up before the full refresh in 2017. The transmission replacement is still likely for the 2017 redesign as it'll give more MPG boost than the 2.8CRD or 3.0ED on it's own and offer it to the petrol versions too, but unfortunately that's 2 years from now (June 2016 ordering) not next year either, whether they still follow through on a diesel then I think still relies on the interest in the US outside of the forums. If people show 100% interest, but only 10% interest in paying thousands for the option, then it's unlikely to be a priority.
This is a 2008 daily driver with just over 64,000 miles. I have since put a custom snorkel in so that I can avoid any future issues. I do appreciate all the positive comments. I am hoping to get some more videos posted soon.
while this stunt was awesome, yet another person can hit that same section and roll over dumping a full tank of fuel into the water system. you may or may not be the first person to jeep it, but it has nothing to do with if someone should. The day a jeep empties its fuel tank in there, it would close this area to offroaders. jeep responsibly.
@@bigred13xi I guess they think it will hurt the rock formation but maybe they forget that the water flowing over the top is constantly eroding that rock anyway. I cant really see the pollution aspect either and if you are allowed there then who cares

I bet these rocks are definitely slippery on your first trys! Nicely done out there and look's like a nice project, feel free to share any info what you've done there. There's a lot of rock crawling here in california, cheers! :)
Nice!! It's entertaining when people build trails with interesting challenges in them. Would love to give that one a try. To those getting bent out of shape it's no different than driving above or below it pollution wise, and as mentioned before, the waterfalls can be rebuilt, just like other traill features that need maintenance to avoid people going 'their own way'. He was not the first to climb this waterfall and he won't be the last either.
Nice job it would be so cool to show Henry Ford what these vehicles could do now a days I’d love to watch his facial expressions even on some of the drag cars of today
Considering I have owned both, I can assure you that my 2 JK Unlimited's have a longer wheelbase and make it easier to climb obstacles like this rather than a TJ with a short wheelbase and not so great approach and departure angles. Now if you owned both yourself, (and yes my TJ was built up nice) then your point could be valid, but it almost sounds like you're being partial to the Jeep's you mentioned, which in all honesty, in my opinion, don't even compare to the new JK's. 01TJ, 07JKU, 13JKU
Yeah F&@K that little waterfall. Waterfalls ain't got Sh$t on a jeep. Lol. I just got a 2008 Rubi as my DD. loving it. Putting 13k in mods right now at Bucks 4x4. Adventure racks n basket. Smittybilt SRC rails. New springs. 3 inch Lift kit. 50" light rail. 3-12" light rails 1-24" light rail. VPR front bumper with winch. gas can, Axe and shovel mounts. rear bumper with racks...
That's quite a technical challenge. Especially given the terrain which can't be seen as it's covered in water. Impressive Jeep work!

Yes this is exactly what i intend to do with my jeep...climb up waterfalls and maybe mount everest as well..
It’s a Jeep,it’ll do and go anywhere
And drive in the snow too

What rack do you have on top?
Jeeps and water, one follows the path of least resistance, the other just does it in opposite directions.
Awesome! Just goes to show you what a JK can do. I love mine.
Reminds me of a small dog scaling the couch lol
Well the dog is all grown up now so getting on the couch is no longer an issue. Haha
Great video, bad ass Jeep.
Oh no, he scraped a rock on a constantly eroding waterfall!
tread roughly?
Hows the ride on these things after a decent lift? I've heard horror stories about old lifted jeeps
EPIC! how high a lift kit and waht size tyres did you have on it then?
A big shout out to the driver.
What size tire and is this a Dana 30?
I have a huge 76 J-10, I don't think I'd even try that that is an excellent video really really great thanks a lot
