Looking at Greenville as a likely retirement area. My mind was with charleston for retirement. But my husband says it may be too overly priced and a hurricane path . We can drive easily there for weekend excursions . Going in 2025
Yes, as a South Floridian I want out of hurricane paths, but do not forget checking tornado activity for future places to retire, other than crime etc.
@@livinginsouthcarolina perfect. I look forward to visiting. I’ve only spent time on the coast. Growing up, my parents brought us to Myrtle Beach every summer. My husband and I did the same with our kids. Recently, we ventured a bit further south, spending time in Hilton Head and Charleston. I really want to spend time in the Greenville area as we are considering a move from Long Island. I need to consider somewhere that is good for the whole family as my older kids are finishing college and will be looking for jobs. We are also a large family (7 people) and need a big enough house for all of us. I’m really enjoying your videos because they give me a good idea of the area. I will definitely be contacting you when we are house hunting,
My best friend just moved there last week and yesterday it was a beautiful, sunny 72 degrees there while up north we had rain, clouds & 52 degrees. I can’t wait to move there in the spring.
@@Tom-yl7xw I'm planning to move south. I'm fed up with the BS of NY and don't want to make a mistake by moving to another state with the same nonsense.
Thank you for clarifying. Since Greenville-Spartanburg is a general region, it is easily confused or misunderstood in conversation that many think it is located in Greenville. Appreciate your correction!
At 64 and single, I'm taking a trip there to check it out..LOVE cycling but hope theres a few others my age..
Love my hometown
I live in Greenville and it’s awesome. You would like it.
Such a fancy small city
Back in the mid-90s when I was around 12-13 years old, I came here with my mom to have surgery at the Shriners Hospital. It really is a nice city.
Had the best catfish at Smoke on the Water, I enjoyed that place. 👍🏻
Looks so nice 👍
Am going there for trip today am leaving at 1:00 pm eastern time
Can you tell us how you looked at the city of Greenville?

BMW is located in a neighboring county, Spartanburg County.
Didn’t see any historic buildings in downtown. Were they all torn down?
Some of the downtown Greenville streets needs to be fix.
I would take bumpy streets over homeless camps on every corner!
@@deborahzugel3550 where are these homeless camps?
Can’t wait to get down to Greenville. How is the weather there in late October?
Fall in Greenville is what I imagine paradise will be like. It’s the best!

Greenville was voted in the top 10 nicest places in the world to visit in fall!
The Swamp Rabbit Trail does NOT end in downtown Greenville !
It used to but they extended it
That was LONG ago .
Its the main stop is what he mean. Its the center of where it is. Many starts there and ends there.
BMW is NOT in Greenville County , rather Spartanburg County !
Thanks for coming back and leaving the same comment a second time!

Is Greenville a liberal city in an otherwise conservative state?
No it's conservative
Charelston is where a lot of the Democrats live but greenville does have a good amount of Democrats mixed in still mostly conservative though
