- In this video is packed with AR & VR News I will once again bring you guys up to date with everything in the space. First of all, we will begin with v65 and some of the latest features that appear in the brand-new Quest update. After this, we will move on to the Quest Plus monthly subscription and some of its new games. We also have a few new games like Subside coming our way in case you are interested in realistic swimming mechanics in VR. As well as this I also have some new info for you on Apples cheaper Vision Pro as well as the Vision Pro 2. We also have some pretty large discounts on the Titl Five AR Tabletop gaming headset for those that might be interested, as well as the fact that WRC has now come out with its VR update! Hand tracking improved drastically in this version. My Q2 is not getting confused any more even when I put one hand very close to another.

The cheaper version of Vision Pro is already here, they are selling for as low as $2200 with accessories on secondary market, which isn’t a great showing for it.

Haha love watching your content. If anything you talk really fast and I’m an English speaking only person sos wow! Well done. Shows your passion for all the awesome tech you show off. I only just got the quest 3 a few weeks ago and loving it. Been a VR user since the second gen (technically the first gen) Vive but ran out of room to use it so been using the psvr2 for a little wile til I did enough research to see that the quest 3 can actually do almost everything the psvr2 could except eye tracking. Worth it for the wireless freedom and amazing pass through it has though and I’m able to play all my vr games I have on the pc wirelessly on it no worries! Can’t wait to see what more the quest 3 can do! Loving the hand tracking and want to see more games use that! Would be awake me to have shooters and stuff combine both hand tracking and controllers
Also in v65 you can now enable lying down mode on the quest 3, its in the experimental tab, i just noticed that minutes ago.

Passthrough isn't entirely system-wide, you still get the void when accepting adb auth requests for example

I'm not sure what is going on, but I just tried Quest Air Link on Q3 and the image quality was absolutely superb - crisp, clear and sharp! Just had to remember to revert ODT encode bite rate to 0. I haven't seen it looking this good before.
That’s amazing. Air link became so broken for me for some reason lol idk why just became worse as updates rolled out. Meanwhile virtual desktop has never let me down like at all lol. But I do miss the native “rift” experience and the quest home I made for the pc side of things. That’s what they should be bringing to quest 3 imo
I was shocked because I've had big problems with Air Link in the past, but now, for me, at least it's clearer than VD and I would say as good as fibre optic cable. MSFS ran perfectly.
Ok I'm going to comment. scoped storage any updates or anything?! I've Paused updates but I'm sure it's going to auto update in may. But bonelab just needs it's patch 4 so we can in-game mod!

Tilt 5 just made me appreciate passhtrough Q3 more. It took years to get after kickstarter to get it then years MORE to get before their software could let my 3-set able to play multiplayer from a single computer, and by then i was no longer interested in multiplayer board games (which is all it's good for over MR).
It'd be ace for people getting it now and into boardgames though.
anyone have the same problems with the quest 3 since v63 my hmd says every 5 minutes or so thad the wlan breaks but it isnt its so annoying ...
I had a unfortunate set of events that took me out of the VR space for almost a year now at this point. I just got a hold of a quest 3 and I'm back. Is there anything y'all recommend that I play right now besides contractors showdown because that game kind of sucks at the moment. I'm going to wait until they polish it

I already have quest 1, and I can only afford either quest 3 or a gaming pc.
What do you think is better buying a gaming pc to play top AA pcvr games with my quest 1or buying the quest 3 and play the standalone games from meta library?

Just got the v65 on my quest 2 but none of my quest 3”s trying to figure out how to do the panoramas. I have a ton I took on a USA trip I want on last summer

An important piece of information for anyone who thinks now is the right time to buy the Logitech K830, I just bought one used just to get a real bad surprise. For some stupid reason, Logitech thought it would be okay to release this keyboard in two different versions under EXACTLY the same name but not exactly the same features. One version with Bluetooth and one without. I got the latter one. I can still connect it over USB, but then it's not recognized as the K830 and it's not tracked.
The one with Bluetooth has the pairing mode as the FN action on the delete key, so you see the Bluetooth icon there. The other version has a standby icon on that key instead and the FN action puts your computer in power saving mode. The packaging for the one with Bluetooth has a Bluetooth label and says it's compatible with Android and smart TVs. The other packaging is is just missing that information. Appart from that, both are exactly the same and you might buy another keyboard without knowing it.
I wrote this comment on my Quest 3. With the controller. Not with the keyboard, even though it's right next to me.
Anyone have any idea why panorama mode is native to iPhone but not android first?
Thanks for the video and information - you do great reviews. Allot of what is in the update v65 does not apply to me. I don't have any IPhone so all this panoramic viewing I can't do. i don't belong to the Meta Quest Plus game club, most of those games are no interest to me - but nice to know there is a way to save money by belonging to the club. I will have to see what that keyboard/mouse item is all about.
More and more AR stuff is coming out which is very interesting to know about.
And lastly thanks for the info on EA sports WRC game now getting VR support. I have the game but have not tried it in VR. There are mixed reviews on You Tube on how well the games VR mode works. Will try it out tomorrow.

Apple, Meta and the rest should look at what’s being done at Cornell with Sonar as a smaller/cheaper/privacy-safer replacement for camera/optical sensors if they want to go cheaper.

V63 broke my WiFi 6e 6ghz connection. It drops ever 5 seconds then reconnects. Both my quest 3’s are doing that. Only 5ghz works now. Is this a thing for anybody else?
The Second Life game can make vision sphere images that can be viewed on Quest VR.
Rallying games are the best kind of racing games for vr 100%
Meta is really doing its thing to improve and be one the best headsets out i love all the updates thry need more 1st party games thiugh to i guess kinda transfer over to a vr version but quest has become a staple for headsets i feel like yes apple is a little ahead and amazing but this headset will get there and for half the cost but right now if yiu wana get into a vr or aR headset this is it

I could see the “cheaper version” of the Vision Pro just being called the “Apple Vision”.
Wi-Fi stability is still sketchy..on Virtual Desktop but especially via AirLink. Subtle but consistent latency increase on 6G and 5G, 2401mbs and 1200. Meta tech service has claimed it’s everything from graphics drivers to “it just needs a factory reset”..yeah, nothing helps. 🤷😢

My VR friends, I have played most of the famous VR titles out there both on PC and quest extensively over the years. I can tell you by confidence, experiencing Subnautica in VR is the MOST immersive experience I've ever had in VR by a long shot. Just install the VR mod and get a Quest 3 or better for graphical fidelity and you are in run for the Experience of you Lifetime in VR.
Vr mod? I guess out of the box feature sucks?

Tilt five is desperate. It was dead in arrival when it 1st came out. It would be a hard sell if they were given away for free. I'd love to be wrong. I want all forms of vr and ar to be successful.

hi and thanks for video , well as i only just bought quest 3 512 for 465 pounds brand new i did get 6 months free of sercription so nice as newbie into vr /ar space,..........as for apple well if made few things apple real need to do 1 make it lighter ,2 make so if your windows or android user make that vision pro or future works like dream so doint need own any other apple stuff,as not into apple itself so i never buy it ,.3 make have usb c so i can use flash drive with it as i can use quest 3 i have 100 w usb c power and usb for flash drive so can still charge my head set up with external battery i plan bobo head set got halo type but boobo will buy all pluss spare and doc too looks good no worries' ,.4 well if there going use glass plastic make sure not going crack ahah so crake gate now,..5 as hole thing of it vison pro parts is 1500 dollars to make ,well sell for 2000 base , and make so start is 512 or 1tb as its future proofing it thats why i bought quest 3 512 ,6 that caple management of head set as soon as you spop out it tern the thing of and cant real do it fast with feeling it , quick on and off idea be good make part of headset as counterbalance weight .....7 have controllers types just so not need really on hand or eyes as well ...now as they do that meta quest 3 or 3lite or pro 2 and so on with software getting pushed fast out because apple have made meta go all out to win in aspects that , if they can win in time at budget to mid range to dear price and also with open there software to others it be better option than what apple can could and have done .......8 universal roll out in one ,as am in uk wear is vison pro and when uk have to try ,by that time my quest 3 be my main go to and with nearly unlimited portable battery and with dock hold 3 batteries to charge , so if have 3 on charge and 1 on headset each have 2.5 to 4 hours depending each then plus main headset ..........any way thanks for video
