Well that’s the end of this series for now... more info in the description. Don't expect a new upload for a bit. Thanks for watching 🙏 I know the quality of clips at this depth isn’t fantastic, but I tried my best to provide some variety in terms of genres, tones, colours and singers. Some clips don’t sound great due to poor recording equipment etc, but mainly due to the fact that nothing at this pitch really sounds that fantastic anyway... This must be almost every C1 ever sung by singers right? To anyone thinking of making low note compilations in the future... you’re welcome for all these clips I found lmao
@@namiralily1279 The 0th octave, not to mention the "negative value octaves", are not about "singing" at all and even not about making sounds but rather about emitting frequencies. Tuukka Haapaniemi (who is a legit deep bass singer) is even visibly making a good laugh of that kind of "singing" here as he used to do in the other video where he was parodying Tim Storms and his "low E1":) So he fried there not only E1 but also E0 to show the things properly. As he is perfectly aware of the huge difference between the legit low notes and typical vocal fry gimmicks. The guys like Mirabal (1:27) and Pizur (4:00) are particularly beyond funny with their "C1's" ;)

What’s interesting about those sorta notes is that pretty much about all moments of hearing notes from about D1 has at least some amount of fry or a lot of fry the farther u go down but since there is more chest in very few people they get the considerations of having that as a chest note, but if u can hear that little bit of fry in their voice that’ll end up being a chest fry if they actually can go that far, other than that some bass singers kinda like tukka haapenemi can very effectively used their fry cuz there’s lots of bass in it
Oh and also what I forgot to mention is that only a few clips (like Tim foust and David Kahn) can have a growl or subharmonic note which makes the sound of the extremely low note sound so much more clear than just using chest or fry range sound
It’s not on my list of things to do, as far as I know he only has a few videos up so there’s not much content to choose despite his great voice. I’ll think about adding him into a compilation though
Yeah I thought so too at first but it’s Acc C1. If you listen closely there’s a subtle C1 there. It’s also C1 in studio and he’s never opted out of a low note live
@@matthewdockray9745 I'm not saying he can't I just didn't hear a Rumble, there might have been another person there harmonizing a C2 aswell or something
Mike Holcomb and Gary Evans Jr. are so cringy for me :D They're not even trying to improve the sound of their fry. JD with the only chest C1 is so awesome.
@@matthewdockray9745 Not saying Zlatopolsky couldn't chest a C1, but in all the clips I've heard him sing super low, like the one in this video, is so unrealistically loud to be a chest C1. His higher low note a few seconds before the C1 sounds like a subharmonic.
JerryBoy there’s no evidence to suggest he ever used subharmonics. His voice really was that loud, a complete anomaly. His power is unmatched by anyone, even by today’s standards. You can hear in this radio the absolute mad depth of his speaking voice which dips down to probably F1 at times at a guess ua-cam.com/video/2LCDl5LxQVI/v-deo.html In this clip, again you can hear him talking with ridiculous depth and him doing a small chant too ua-cam.com/video/3woNclYOX38/v-deo.html
@@matthewdockray9745 He has a really low voice no doubt. In the second video you linked, he reaches a really compressed E1 nearly Eb1. Sounds like he's close to his limit. If that was a C1 or even a note lower, it wouldn't be possible for him to suddenly just shout a chest C1 heard over a choir. Again, not saying he couldn't chest a C1, just not in the choir performances. His speaking voice would have to be way lower than JD Sumner's. And I mean by a LOT.

LegoBlox Railfan yeah I plan on going down to C0 (ish) in a future compilation, but not part of an individual notes series as there’s just no point

Actually not all of these are fry some are growl and chest fry or chest
From the number of views , A1 seems to be most popular. My favorite note.
My is: D2 and C2 and Eb1 and D1.

@@onecolossalrubikscube2554 Yeah, he has no plans of going any lower. He will include sub first octave notes in his other compilations tho.
Love it, good choice.
I love to see a new one of these every morning cause i myself am a bass singer and the lower the better especially with sub headphones
David Kahn nailed it
It is very hard to hear anyone hit a strong and resonant C1. Even with subharmonics, growl, or something like that.
Very true. And I would rather say "quite strong and resonant".
So C1 is pretty much just your false folds doing vocal fry
Not always some basses can hit that in chest voice
No. The false folds are not involved in the subharmonic register. They are used in Kargyraa, and that is harsh sounding and throaty.

I’m confused. In some Low note compilations the lowest note is C0, but I don’t think that note is even on the piano. Are they talking about C1?
C0 is an octave lower than C1, and off the end of the piano
Steve cross with glasses looks way different. Is Mike holocomb uses fry or is it all chest
