If I had a penny for every time Tappei nerfed Subarus mind I’d have 2 pennies which is not a lot but it’s still strange it happened twice. Reading this phase while it was still ongoing was definitely an experience. A ton of wild chapters
"Found you" its funny whenever satella appears, the situation,plot,characters thoughts(Al loses his mind the most whenever she appears ) all come to a grinding halt, She's the force of nature and i love how powerful her scenes are because of that
I deadass found you last night and binged since Phase 5. I quit reading after how long the Priscilla Chapters dragged on and couldn't find anyone who read anything or explained anything like you do. Thanks man. I really appreciate the effort you put into these and I glad I hit the subscribe and bell icon cause I wouldn't have woken up to this 😂
You know you couldve just skipped them. Its not really fair for re zero for people to quit something before an arc is finished. Arc 6 was called the worst during its run time. Now its called the best.
@@tonikorhonen7687 I actually still not get why the majority has shifted their view on Arc 6. I still despise the amnesia part in Arc 6 as Subaru regresses to Arc 1 and speedruns to Arc 3 which was simply a big character regression and waiting him to catch up. Same problem with Phase 4 Kid Subaru: Another big regression so that he has to relearn lessons that he already got in previous Arcs. It is just more of the same. Tbh my biggest issue why I love and hate Re Zero is that the premise and some parts are really good while I just think that the author has poor writing skills. I also did read Muskoku Tensei (not until the end right now but I am very far in already) and Overlord (to the most recent part) and the author skill issue is clear as day. While I was not as thrilled on Mushoku Tensei at the start as for Re Zero, I can say that this series has surpased my personal ranking simply be not having all of these frustrating parts in the story like Re Zero has. I still hope that Arc 7 & 8 will get to my taste but as far as I know they will probably just get worse and the story will not go in the direction which I would hope for (I mean that some mysteries finally get explained and the Rem finally gets "fixed". I am sure that the author is stalling this out of spite for her unseen popularity.) Would also mention Kingdom, which I also am currently reading and has also a weak part in it's story but is still miles ahead on hype and quality than Re Zero is at Phase 4. For me until Arc 6 the story has derailed in a wrong direction but the good parts are still too good on dropping the story. Which is kinda more frustrating in that the bad parts really hold my liking of this story back. And this is also my first series with this dilemma (one of my top 10 series that will drop out of it, which is kinda sad...)
I’m still laughing at the fact that the Oni mask that’s supposed to cover Abel’s entire face somehow turned into a wwe mask in the light novel art 💀 Also as always great insight pretty sure that if you liked most of that the arc did so far you’ll enjoy the rest of the arc

Literally just finished rereading phase 6 before watching; quite the timing, huh? Excellent video as always! Two things that particularly stood out to me was that fading out of your narration during the ten second loop and your theory on RBD being on the fritz. I feel you did a great job at illustrating the horror of the ten second loop even when cutting out a lot of the details of how Subaru progress through it. In addition, theory about RBD was something i had not thought of before, but feels very reasonable. Either way, your summaries have been superb at condensing each phase while providing thoughtful commentary pn the events therein. If I had to nitpick anything, it's that you probably expound a bit more on your thoughts and critiques at the end as I feel you did not do much of that here. However, that is not a huge detriment to the video , rather just a nitpick. It's truly heartening to see how much passion you have for a series that is very close to my heart as well.

Honestly, I also enjoyed this phase of Arc 7. However, my issues with Arc 7 began to show up in the next phase. It's not that I felt like everything that happened next turned into trash or anything, but rather that some moments felt underwhelming, or too convenient for my taste.
it would have been better if al stayed an adult and protected mideum and subaru gaining their respect and then subaru learns about al's rbd and tells him to value himself more
When the chapters were ongoing, the game of tag and 10sec loop kept the hype up for the arc, as the slow pacing in the beginning of the phase made others (myself included but I understood why) a little bored
