Wow, a CSX freight train running along side a subway train! I never experienced something like that her on the NYC MTA trains. Although, I do see some freight cars laying around every once in a while.
For a brief period of time, the 7000 series had inadequate barriers between trains to prevent hard-of-sight passengers from falling in between cars. During the transition to the improved barriers, the 7000 series used this announcement to alert to the possible danger.
@@NTxRE I remember this issue being a problem, there was a story about a blind dude who fell into the tracks at grovsner strathmore and barely climbed back onto the platform before the train left. Glad tk see action was taken on this bug
The Yellow Line does in fact go to Gallery Station. That isn't a part of this video though. The WMATA Metro Website has a map if you need any more answers
I'm not sure unfortunately, all I know is it was there when I filmed it in 9/2018. I did have an earlier trip before then but I don't remember the announcements at all
Used to ride this line from Pentagon to Huntington Station way back in the 80's when I was assigned to Fort Belvoir.
Very nice! Thanks for watching!
Just as I remember it. oh that cold rain
It made for great ambience, I personally enjoy the gloomy weather over anything hot!
