Thanks for the video, it looks like getting the end link off the bottom is a real you-know-what, I still plan to use an impact though. To access that nut at the bottom, I think a swivel and extension will definitely be necessary.

You mention not getting grease on the brake rotors, which is right. That reminded me: do Pontiac Vibe breaks usually take extra pushing power to complete braking? Mine do. Or it is due to the struts needing replacing.

Is this a 2side job or can only 1side be bad? I have a 06 vibe base model. Is it best to do both sides? It’s not making noise yet but they told me the boot is bad .

better to do both sides so you don’t have to worry :). they are pretty affordable too
