You mention not getting grease on the brake rotors, which is right. That reminded me: do Pontiac Vibe breaks usually take extra pushing power to complete braking? Mine do. Or it is due to the struts needing replacing.

I'm 5 foot 9 and i find the seating too low in my 2003. I installed a memory foam cushion and the seating is now perfect. Agree the steering is very sharp and the wind noise is significant

I saw a cool trick on another video where someone loosened the oil filter first and then used a clear plastic Big gulp cup to turn the filter and just catch the spilling oil. After that you just pour it into your pan.

Hi, is your "blue one" also an 820?

2008 manual Matrix - love it. Functional and fun to drive. I'm getting ~39mpg avg. Engine braking helps with that since it stops fuel intake. Coming down hills and such I always engine brake. Also no roof rack to catch the wind. Thinking of getting a 2nd vehicle but will keep the Matrix till the wheels fall off!

I need this. Planning to change my 2nd bike's shifter from 8 speed combo shifters to friction shifter. I am using a shimano m310 RD i don't know if it acera or altus because the decals were scratched off.

Way to problem solve that pedal issue @ 4:20! Can be a pain not having the right tools when you need them most...
