This explains a lot now. I had random us style when i was putting on a LED on the parking/position lights. The led was poor quality and was not read by the computer, so i had the side markers(indicator lights) on.
with INPA you can turn slightly on the high beams to work as daytime lights, so this is not necessary.
this aint the point. its way cooler and nicer like this
There are no such lights on my 2002 E46 (325i), but there are holes in the back of the lens assembly for them. Oh well.
you can simply take out the plug. it's not necesary to take out the bulb
But you will get a light on the dash correct?
And if your Driving Light is on. The sidemarkers are off

helpp ! mine just like yours . i accidently do it when i want to change the side light bulb .. and then inserted a new one . then the signal lights wont turn off . and the indicators on the meters showing the warning light things . how can i fix it .
Seems like for “security” the BMW detects that the parking lights are bad and it switches to the turn headlights so the car can be still visible

At the end (around 4:45), the car doesn't appear to have the DRL on. Why is that? For portions of the last 20 or so seconds, the headlights seem to be on, which explains why the DRL would be off, but the headlights and DRL are definitely off in much of that section of the video.
Because he has the headlights on
i want them to turn off becouse its not legal in Norway and i can`t get my car trough EU-Check becouse of this. Tryid to change lights and everything but nothing works. Help pleas?

I really don't think so as indicators blink and also, its not as bright as when your indicators are on.
