Way too easy Skillet Cornbread-Try it and you’ll LOVE it!

- Spicy, cheesy skillet Cornbread recipe:
1-cup AP flour
1-cup cornmeal
1-TBS baking powder
1-TBS sugar
1-tsp onion powder
2-eggs beaten
1-cup whole milk
3-TBS vegetable oil
2-TBS unsalted butter melted
1-TBS Manteca lard
2-TBS chopped jalapeño peppers
1-1/2-cups pepper jack cheese
Half of a 15.25 oz. Can of whole kernel corn drained
Preheat oven to 425. Place 1-TBS Manteca lard in a 10 inch cast iron skillet and preheat in oven at least ten minutes.
Mix all other ingredients in a bowl until well mixed and pour in the preheated skillet.
Place in oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. When done the cornbread should be pulling away from the sides of the skillet and a fork inserted should come out clean.
