That's what's so cool about the style is the amount of variety and options you have with pulling off the look. Little bit longer beard & stache also make a big impact.
Trimming the moustache is always my fear. I use scissors for that, and I try to keep the chevron in place. I use a 3mm on the beard and on the top of the cheeks and the bottom of the neck I do a quick fade at 2mm the rest is at 0.5mm (using a Panasonic trimmer). Thank for sharing this video on beardstache maintenance.
Idk if my beard counts as a beardstache because I keep the rest of my face in a neat lined stubble with the emphasis obviously being on the stache but honestly I'm loving it, even though nobody can see it when I'm outside because we all have to do our part and wear a mask, I've never felt more confident.
Nice content, I like to say that I was stick with full beard/goatee for more than year and half, I take the chance today and shave it all off but I leave my mid blonde little gab mustache!! I was really happy!! changing my style was in time its just need a little confidence, now I can understand why Eric is not focus about growing a YEARD/ 6 months beard again for a while, I am not saying beard are bad but some people like to change their style, thank you Eric and Carlos to inspire me for the mustache Ideas! Love always from Bahrain 🇧🇭
Totally agree. Another thing to remember is that when you change your style it allows you to focus on your current look and enjoy the moment, because you know it's not always going to be like this. A constant reminder to focus on the present.
Perfect style Maintence, you wear it so well and it is perfect with the haircut. You should think about rocking the chevron without the beard for a change of style
Eric, the beardstache looks great, but I’m really digging the jacket! Looking to rock a beardstache soon, but my mustache is not quite glorious enough (as I’m still pretty young and my beard is growing in). Hopefully next fall!
Hey Eric, I've started the beard/stache style as well, can grow a good full think mustache like yourself, thankfully. My problem is I can shape the left side of my stache perfectly, I can see the perfect outline to not make the edge too rounded but my ride side of the stache is a bit trickier for some reason. Its hard to make that nice sharp edge of the mustache on that side and I have made it more round that it should be. Any advice? I always use mustache scissors to do any mustache trimming, way more control than using any electric shaver/trimmer.
I’m late to the party here, but I have the same problem! Wondering if you’ve come across any good tips for clean symmetrical shaping of the stache at the corners of the mouth?
Great video 👍. Are you still using the Zero blade on the Brio Beardscape? Can’t wait to get one once it’s released, curious how it works along with the micro adjustments
So think of the zero blade as the lowest setting you can get on the Beardscape. It doesn't have the ability to do the micro adjustments as the main purpose is to get as close to the skin as possible (.2mm).
Beardstache is a very uninspired name...I think it should be called the 'Calvary Captain'. It looks like an 1880's Calvary officer who normally just has a mustache but has been patrolling the frontier and hasn't had a clean shave for a while.
Hello!! Nice video, thanks for the info...I just started to rock the beardstache... Don't think it fits me well and I think that people look at me in a weird way, or it's just my imagination... But I will keep it like that and maintain it like yours here... Thanks again.
I’m changing from beard do mustache beard. I’m normally clean-shaven from a straight razor. I also use vintage and modern safety razors. I have lots of shaving brushes and artisan shave soap sets all with great cologne fragrance dups. I have all the popular fragrance like Dior Savuge Creed Aventus Polo Ralph Lauren Versace Eros Aqua De Parma Jean St. Pierre Le male Creed silver mountain water Tom Ford Fuckin fabulous
If you do it, check our other videos where they sponsored. They have a coupon code in there. I've never used the Wahl, but have been happy with the Brio.
@@EricBandholz, the coupon does save you money, just trying to decide what to do, my other trimmer is about dead. And the trimmer replacement blades cost more than the trimmer brand new. Thanks for the great content, and recommendations about beard styles for someone that is bald?
Eric Bandholz Mr. Bandholz, good question. I say don’t trim at home. Barbers only. They are the professionals. :) love the mullet. Growing mine out like Sly’s. Thanks for the videos. You rock! Rob from Michigan
@@Rob-rm7mj For people like me, this content is what I need. We only have one actual mens barbershop where I live and they aren't doing beard trims because of the mask mandate, only haircuts. And I also live in Michigan.
Darin Zarzecki I get it for sure. It’s interesting some barbers are doing beards and some don’t. I guess it’s comfort level. Where in Michigan are you from?
your face got super red when you put that oil on by the way. not sure if it has alcohol or something. i guess it does. but it caused a bit of reaction fyi.
Guys stone mason smell like A chemical. In my opinion it doesn’t smell good. I have the conditioner and I’m trying my best to finish it because of the scent. I love beard brand and their products, just not the stone mason scent.
yeah, so I came here to check how to maintain the STUBBLE & STACHE and then I got turned on by how the guy looks and sounds............ and that took me to different websites..

Or Kermit

John C. Reilly

A combination of tenor and baritone.
The beardstache has been a game changer for me. Wont bring the stubble down that short but still great tips as always.

Nice! What are you picking up?

@@BeardbrandAlliance Stone Mason beard oil sounds interesting. I want to try it out.
Funny thing is that in MY OPINION this style of beard/stache in combination with your hairstyle suits you best!
This style is soo cool..
Love this style, ive been rocking it for a long while. Wearing facemasks all the time has made me slack a little on maintenance though haha
Can you do a video or just give advice on what hairstyles pair best with a beardstache? Just want to make sure I'm on point with style.
Time to bring back honor to the stash!
I miss my mustache 😭. I shaved clean for my brother's wedding.I have extremely slow growth. It takes 3-4 months for 1cm on all hairs .
Why would you do such a thing?
This is such a good look to rock when you have patches or slow growth on you cheeks

So Beardstache trend is here to stay then!?
Totally love it tho 😍😍
I always dig the look; however my daughter and wife tend to prefer a longer beard. So we'll see how long I keep it. :)
Eric Bandholz I agree with your daughter and wife! I love my husband’s beard a bit longer, but it’s cool to see a different option.
You guys should do one on low sideburns, I think they're really sick especially when they're curved out

Looks great Eric
My girl wants me to try this, I'm worried since I've never done anything different with my beard, but guess today's the day

For the chevron tips of stache... better to cut it up and away angle as opposed to down?

im trying to grow the same stach but my cupids bow dosnt grow to much should i leave it to grow out or try a diffrent style
"softening the tips" of the stache means what exactly? like a fade towards the end?
Do you prefer the more tamed stache with the beardstache as opposed to the big gnarly one?
I like them both. Lately been preferring the chevron. -Eric
We would like to see your next transformation u rocking the beardstache but the moustache with a handle bar instead of the chevron
Idk why when you started talking about stonemasons smell I was cracking up

What even is a beardstache..
A mustache where you also have stubble in the rest of the beard area.
