Soccer baseball isn't slang... it's a game kids play in middle school during gym class where it's baseball only with a soccer ball and no bats. Besides that I didn't know supply teacher was slang and I figured mickey would be in there but not once in my life have I heard the other terms.

haha im the exact opposite when it comes to teachers, we call em by their last name only no prefix, only exception was the highschool principle "miss" Y, which was ironic because her husband and daughter both worked at the school. the daughter was referred to as little ms Y, or alternatively "miss Y, which one?, the hot one."

You are right, in the Atlantic provinces people do call bathrobes a houserobe but do say kickball for example. I think it's nice they picked a few from diffrent places. Also, though I agree it's annoying a lot of strangers seem to think Canada is only Ontario and only speaks English, I sure can understand the video would be too long if they showed them all the slangs there are!
I am Canadian lots of these I have heard before. The ones I haven't heard were ones I could actually figure out the meaning. It's when you start using terms like chesterfield and Vico is where people get really confused! I still call it a kangaroo not a bunny hug! Some of it's generational too.

Just because you don't use it in your part of Canada doesn't mean it's not used elsewhere in Canada.
Seriously, there's a ton of comments down there saying "I'm Canadian and I've only heard x and y," followed by a reply saying, "I'm Canadian from Z Province, and we use almost almost all of those."
Most of these were from Ontario with a few from the prairies. House coat is used everywhere. I don't know any of them besides house coat because I am from BC

My school doesn't really use it as a substitute teacher, it could just be a teacher that doesn't teach a main homeroom class, like they teach French to multiple classes or do a choir program.
From Ontario here. We call someone a supply teacher when their whole job is filling in for other teachers.
Sometimes we'd say "sub" in verb form when regular teachers filled in for a little bit, as in; "We couldn't find a supply teacher in time, so Mr. Smith will be subbing for you this afternoon" or "Mr. May got sick so Ms. Downs subbed for the history test" but it's not used as much now for . . . reasons.

Don't worry, I hope that people now see that this is the case with many of the country specific videos. There is a breakfast video that tells the viewer to make pancakes with bacon in them, fry doughnuts and substitute marshmallow cereal bars for a bowl of cereal. There were countless remarks about this being why Americans are so overweight. Those same people turned a blind eye to the many comments where Americans were offended and confused because that was new to many of us as well.

You forgot the Yukon, North west territories and Nunavut they are as much apart of Canada as the provinces. Is Labrador a separate province now? I haven't taken social studies since before Nunavut became a territory.

I hope people from other parts of the world don't think Canada actually uses all of these extensively. Supply teacher and substitute teacher are pretty much equally used where I come from. Soccer baseball is pretty common too. But I have never heard anyone use the phrase 'bunny hug'.

I feel kinda weird because, I am from Western Canada and a lot of this slang seems farther up North or way towards the East. Never heard of a Mickey, Bunny Hug or KickBall being called Soccer Baseball... a lot of these words depend on what PART of Canada you are from. Just like how someone from Washington would go to Texas, they use different terms. So not all Canadians would get this. But good try. Kickball is kickball, a substitute teacher is called a sub, basically everything is the same.
