Thanks for the review! My only concern is that the dunk bag gets all wet, and then while the filtered water runs inside of the tube and into the container, a bit of the possibly contaminated water runs down the outside of the tube, and drips a little into your clean container. While I'm sure a tiny bit is a whole lot better than drinking the unfiltered water directly, I'd love a better system. I just realized that you could let the system dry a bit before opening the squeezed tube. And you could wipe everything down with some paper towels or something to insure that dirty water doesn't mix with the clean. Just brainstorming...
Yes, you are correct about that. And your idea is also spot on. Wiping it down, letting it dry, or even having your bottle off to the side away from the bag would take care of that issue.
These filters can be used with 5 gallon buckets in an emergency. A Sawyer Mini bucket adapter kit turns one of these filters into a great disaster preparedness item.
Could you attach the life straw or the sawyer water filter to the bag for other “filter/purifying” methods? The sawyer has the same ability to screw onto bottle, so wondering if the threads would as well.
Yes, the bag uses a standard size for the tubing. So it would work with the Sawyer filter. I do not know about the life straw, I have never used it before.

Philips head on the back and same 2 bottle openers scissors saw and longblade assuming someone tried to Frankenstein them both and failed you can have whatever you want off of them all I really want is the scissors a corkscrew a bottle opener and maybe a new needle
Basically, yes. A filter of this size is great for taking outdoors. It would be a bit of a hassle if you wanted to use it as a daily filter in your home. Simply because it is slow.
