Thank you for calling out Beauty Pie on their overuse of fragrance! I love everything they’re about and I’m so disappointed that several of their skincare products are unusable for me. Immediate headache and sore throat! But for me the One Powder Wonder is hands down their best product. I like really natural looking skin so I use a bit of concealer and cream blush and this takes down the shine and sets it just enough but still leaves an incredible dewy glow. It’s probably not for someone looking to set foundation or for any kind of matte finish.

Great video, I love Beauty pie , especially the skincare. Like you I couldn't get on with the foundation, it stuck to my dry patches and I have also gone back to my Hourglass ambient light powder after trying One Powder Wonder to no avail. What disappointed me the most was the mascaras', I love Soap & Glory thick & fast and as Marcia was also behind that company I assumed the mascara would be the same, as it has the same brush but it's just not a patch on it, the other BP mascara I tried was so gloopy it overloaded my lashes so I had to give up, but I do enjoy being a member, but stick to skincare now.
Been a Beauty Pie user since it launched. Definitely favour the skin care over the make up and their new hair care range has worked wonders on my highlighted hair. Love it.
The subscription rate for Beauty Pie has just rocketed, 🚀🚀🚀 😉😉 I've often wondered about this outlet/shop/whatever it is, so seeing this has definitely convinced me to join up. Also, Gemma you look radiant! ❤💕❤💕❤💕❤

I LOVE the skin care products I have tried, but their makeup has largely been a miss for me. Please do more reviews of their products as I am largely overwhelmed about what to buy next. Thank you Gemma for your review of Beauty Pie products. Please continue to do these! So delighted to hear of your experience with the eye cream. I have been considering buying it for a few months but was nervous as I have very sensitive eyes. I love BP but wish that more of their skincare was fragrance free. I agree with you that fragrance isn’t necessary or desirable in skin care. The Super Retinol range, especially the hand cream is great, and is fragrance free. You might want to hold off on buying more brushes as a new brush set is on the way shortly!
I just want to say, when you popped up with this video, the first thing I noticed was your brows. It was just WOW. Not that they don't usually but then you tell us the product you have used-, so from me I agree it looks fab. I’ve been a member for 3 months. I do like the cleansers, the eye cream...and I like the skin like foundation..love..it just doesn’t last as long as I’d like..only lasts 4-5 hours for me so it’s not a work week foundation. I recently bought the eye shadow sticks and I will definitely repurchase..love.
I am glad that i found your video, as i found beauty pie through an ad and couldnt quite work out or understand how the spending limit system actually works. I am sure i am not the only a little confused by it but i have to admit if you love beauty products this is a really good membership to have but i do believe that they REALLY need to expand their colour ranges more wildly. Some in more of a fenty, or urban decay range of colours across all sorts of makeup. It just needs a lot more content in general.
I have been a member for a couple of years now. I first tried the makeup, I do like the serum foundation, but I am a cool tone color lover and their makeup caters to warm tone lovers. The powders are lovely too. I have concentrated on skincare.. I adore the sleep oil, the micro peel drops, the entire retinol line is excellent too, and I adore the mango cleansing balm. I spend $15 per month but normally order every two months to maximize shipping costs as I am in the USA. I adore the moisturizer you bought for your sister. So great to see you review this brand! Just got the shampoo/conditioner/mask bundle, and my husband likes it 😂 so, there you go. He also uses the micro peel drops. He wasn’t exfoliating before that, it has transformed his skin. Wayne Goss loved the One powder wonder.. I bought two. I prefer MAC mineralized skin finish. Shoot, I got that trio too.. again, too warm for my liking. I wish cool tone products were more popular. So happy you made this video! On to my second month and needed some recommendations! I really think you would love the serum foundation. I have quite dry skin and it’s up there with one of the best I’ve tried!
I’ve only been a member of BP for about 3 months but so far I’m loving their products! Mostly bought skincare as I have WAY too many makeup items. I also love the one powder wonder so to each his own!
The retinol range is lovely. The eye cream and the booster serum. The jeju facial wash is the best wash from BP especially for sensitive skin or dry. Lasts ages and I can't be without it. I also love the body scrubs they do they are outstanding and the body cream I've gone through a ton of them. The one powder is also great and almost all the serums.
I joined 3 months ago 😍 the micropeeling drops and the wonder powder I really like too. I've ordered a sample of the foundation. I like the tinted moisturizer
I actually don't have a lot of make up, mostly just for the eyes. Now I am interested in the whole works to keep my skin as beautiful as it is now, even though I am aging I look forward to all the help in keeping up the care. Great video Gem. I use BP also but the products are hit and miss. The one wonder powder is really good for blending out eye shadow and take a look at the gel eye liners, they're great as eye shadows! I have them in the green and brown and they blend like a dream x

I can 100% recommend Beauty Pie nail varnish the colours are beautiful and have LOADS of pigment so you can get away with 1 coat, they dry quickly to a high shine that lasts and doesn’t chip (well it doesn’t on acrylic nails I can’t speak for it’s performance on natural nails) the brush is a perfect shape to get a smooth curve at the cuticle.I had the same experience with the foundation didn’t like it at all and the one powder wonder was a complete waste of money!! xx

Loving the Super Healthy Skin ultimate anti aging cream! It is a pity it is fragranced but it hasn't irritated my skin at all. Gorgeous, rich but not heavy or greasy. My 58 & 4\5ths year old skin loves it!
I just got a chance to watch this video last month or so, and then placed my first Beauty Pie Order. Not sure if formulation changed since you recorded by my SHS cleanser is very foamy. I was not expecting it to be after watching, thought I would just let you know. Love your videos.
I like the serum foundation. Mixes well w tinted moisturizer too. The Sleep Oil rocks. I like so many of their products. I only wish they’d do edgier/cooler toned eye palettes, cheek n lip products. Love the candles too.
I agree about the colored makeup products. I get that neutrals are totally classic and useful, but it would be awesome to see colorful liners or eyeshadow sticks to supplement the classic shades in the palettes.

Great video! My opinion on Beauty Pie ... I would not recommended anyone to buy any perfume from Beauty Pie .. it really smells rank. I Purchased the perfume because of the great speel that was given out on the website. I got asked by a friend if I had sprayed Fly Spray ... yup! On another occasion a friend asked if I had suntan cream on as there was such a strong smell of coconut. I also found the “everyday foundation” was thick and didn’t blend. The powders and highlighters are a waste of time because they are so chalky..
I love Beauty Pie. Interesting that you didn't like the foundation. I have dry skin, and I love it in 75 Vanilla. Such a good price, sits nicely on my skin, blends well. All the other products I've tried so far have been great.
I fell for the "blush" trio too.....holy cow, like straight highlighter, no color lol. BUT, that said, I also am loving a LOT of the products on Beauty Pie, especially the skin care and the One Palette Wonder! Really enjoying my subscription :)

I’m still undecided by Beauty Pie, I was a member last year for a few months, but to be honest I ended up buying just for the sake of it, I didn’t really need half the things I bought, also I got frustrated that a lot of things I really wanted to try were out of stock. Having said that, I do miss the Japanfusion cleanser, that was beautiful! I also liked the eyeshadow sticks and the lipstick your mum likes was gorgeous 😍

I have been very curious about this company. I'm glad you have found a vitamin C that works for you. It is similar to how I use it, making it up each day with vitamin C powder and an aloe vera/vitamin E gel. I don't use a foot soak. I make sure my feet are soft with the daily use of Scholl's Cracked Heel Repair Cream. My heels are not dry or cracked but I think this is the best way to keep hard skin at bay. I love it! xxx

I’ve been a member for a few months and still on the fence about the products. I had a reaction to the triple hyaluronic serum recently and it has kind of put me off, I’m back to using my little Inkey List one. The One Powder I wasn’t impressed with at first but I have started applying it with a Real Techniques microfibre powder sponge and I really like it but applying it with a powder brush was pretty rubbish.

I'm currently signed up to birchbox and have been for about two years now and I have seriously been thinking of cancelling my subscription with them as I hardly use and of the products i receive and everything is so small. I signed up to this during lockdown. I had to really hunt around to find skincare with no fragrance, but they do have a few things I can use: Japan fusion cleanser Super healthy skin cleanser Super retinol and ceramides Vitamin c capsules Super healthy skin lotion SPFs And their make up is well worth the subscription fee, and brushes, my god! This is where it more than earns it's keep for me. Their lipsticks alone are worth it in fact! Haven't tried their Foundation yet, they haven't had the swatches available for me to shade match.

I just can't abide their nonsense allowance based on a fictional price, which they say is 'typical', but I can name high-end products in that product, like their £100 cream thing is nonsense. I could name 5 creams similar, all very high-end and highly rated between £40 and £75. I wish they would simply give you an allowance based on cost, so £10 subscription, with a £50 value spend. Hope that makes sense Gemma. Also, have you had some facial fillers done? Looks great. 💜💜

It’s a shame really as I love the products especially the skincare. No I haven’t had fillers chick, but I may have put on a few pounds. My weight is fluctuating at the mo...not sure why. 😳
I hated the mascara too. It managed to both be dry and smudgy (quite a triumph!) the colour eyeshadow sticks are too creamy for me they feel wet. I bought about five at once and Im not keen! The one powder wonder I really like, I found its pointless at the start but then I found if you rub a beauty blender (or equivalent) in it, get quite a lot on, and then do under your eyes and cheeks its looks lovely. I also love the foundation, not the best but a good every day one for the price. I really don't like the Japan fusion cleanser! I found it doesn't take any of my make up off but I know others love it. I love the collagen lip oil and their serums are brilliant. It's so hit an miss and tbh I think their make up is naff but when you find a few good products they become your holy grail! I'm going to get the brushes soon I think on your recommendation, it's just sooo much out of my allowance! Great vid, sorry for the long comment!
I love Beauty Pie, my top favourite is their body cream...oh the scent and the feel on application is amazing. Just tried the matching body wash and it’s just as good, great for dry skin. I also love the plantastic cleansing balm with their double sided cleansing cloths. I didn’t get on with the future shine lipstick, I tried 2 different shades and my lips started to burn, last time I used it my lips were burned and cracked for a week.
Omg love the healthy skin cream. I need to get the body wash. Bummer you have a sensitivity to something in the lipstick but I'm in LOVE with the the collagen infused lip oil. I need them all!
Gemma send me the One Powder Wonder and the three blush/highlighted palette if they need a new living home 😂 Only kidding but I do love them both and use them to diffuse and blend out my eye make up and blush. Brilliant on my post menopausal skin. The One Powder Wonder is a reasonable primer hack if pushed too. Has your Mum tried them as I do?
Pampered Wolf gift the Blushers to a local Women’s shelter. I have it & women in Yorkshire shelters need all the help they can (close to my heart). Do update on how the One Powder Wonder works for you to blend difficult to blend shadows etc & how it works on your mum. I got a couple of the lippies your Mum loves. I now need every colour! Xxx
This is so funny, as I was just thinking that I never hear about Beauty Pie any more. I joined, bought the bronzer (like the Charlotte Tilbury) a face palette (like the Charlotte Tilbury), a concealer in the lightest shade which was way too dark, and foundation samples. Really disappointed in the these products. The palette was chalky, too metallic - just not good. Just got the Retinol am & Pm creams, and another eyeshadow palette (a bit warm, but seems better than the last one). Getting the Vit C capsules next time. Definitely think the skin care is their forte - and will try a few more. Did you get your lips done again?

Your spending limit is made up of the typical price but the price you'd pay is the members price. So it you paid £10 per month and got a spending limit of £100 a month, you could buy the cream in the video with a typical price of £100 and then your spending limit would be reached for that month. You would only pay £11 though. All in all for that month, you've paid £10 subscription and £11 for products £21 total and received goods totalling a typical value of £100 xxx
Wait I’m confused about how it works. You pay a monthly subscription fee and also pay members price for the products you order on top of the fee? Can you buy these products elsewhere? If not, how do you know they are high end and worth as much as they say?
trish each product is shown with two prices a non-members price which is higher (and what BP reckon it would cost if you bought it on the high street) and a members price which is much lower. To buy at the lower members price you pay a membership fee, which has different levels depending on the monthly spend you want (£100 or £200). The monthly spend limit is based on the higher price so your allowance doesn’t go as far as you might think. Are some of the products worth the higher price they state? Probably not tbh but the lower value price is very good on most products. So you have to factor in the monthly membership fee, the price of the product plus the £5 postage- is it worth it? Not now The Inkey List etc are getting easier to buy on the High STreet

I can 100% recommend Beauty Pie nail varnish the colours are beautiful and have LOADS of pigment so you can get away with 1 coat, they dry quickly to a high shine that lasts and doesn’t chip (well it doesn’t on acrylic nails I can’t speak for it’s performance on natural nails) the brush is a perfect shape to get a smooth curve at the cuticle.I had the same experience with the foundation didn’t like it at all and the one powder wonder was a complete waste of money!! xx

Loving the Super Healthy Skin ultimate anti aging cream! It is a pity it is fragranced but it hasn't irritated my skin at all. Gorgeous, rich but not heavy or greasy. My 58 & 4\5ths year old skin loves it!

I just got a chance to watch this video last month or so, and then placed my first Beauty Pie Order. Not sure if formulation changed since you recorded by my SHS cleanser is very foamy. I was not expecting it to be after watching, thought I would just let you know. Love your videos.
I like the serum foundation. Mixes well w tinted moisturizer too. The Sleep Oil rocks. I like so many of their products. I only wish they’d do edgier/cooler toned eye palettes, cheek n lip products. Love the candles too.
I agree about the colored makeup products. I get that neutrals are totally classic and useful, but it would be awesome to see colorful liners or eyeshadow sticks to supplement the classic shades in the palettes.

My opinion on Beauty Pie ...
I would not recommended anyone to buy any perfume from Beauty Pie .. it really smells rank. I Purchased the perfume because of the great speel that was given out on the website. I got asked by a friend if I had sprayed Fly Spray ... yup! On another occasion a friend asked if I had suntan cream on as there was such a strong smell of coconut. I also found the “everyday foundation” was thick and didn’t blend. The powders and highlighters are a waste of time because they are so chalky..

Interesting that you didn't like the foundation. I have dry skin, and I love it in 75 Vanilla. Such a good price, sits nicely on my skin, blends well.
All the other products I've tried so far have been great.

I’m still undecided by Beauty Pie, I was a member last year for a few months, but to be honest I ended up buying just for the sake of it, I didn’t really need half the things I bought, also I got frustrated that a lot of things I really wanted to try were out of stock. Having said that, I do miss the Japanfusion cleanser, that was beautiful! I also liked the eyeshadow sticks and the lipstick your mum likes was gorgeous 😍
I think thats why I held off joining it, as I know I would just buy stuff I didnt need, I have so much makeup etc already x
They don't stock that many different products so there's not much to choose from

I have been very curious about this company. I'm glad you have found a vitamin C that works for you. It is similar to how I use it, making it up each day with vitamin C powder and an aloe vera/vitamin E gel.

This is amazing! Would definitely be interested in the creams you use for your feet, and also what kind of foot soak works best for you.
I don't use a foot soak. I make sure my feet are soft with the daily use of Scholl's Cracked Heel Repair Cream. My heels are not dry or cracked but I think this is the best way to keep hard skin at bay. I love it! xxx
Your makeup, skin, hair and top look so good in this video! Have you ever considered trying the Olay pro-retinol eye cream? Other You tubers reporting good results on hooded eyelids.
I use tretinoin so don't need that product. Thanks for the tip though xxx

just when I was debating which subscription box to get, Gemma always comes through. I This one sounds great.
It's an expensive subscription box though, but then I guess that depends on how much you earn. Like you can easily spent £50 a month on it.
@@Amusegirl1980 after looking at reviews and even though i completely trust Gemma it isn't really for me. I'm a makeup junkie but when it comes to skincare i I like sticking to what works for me, so i am gonna wait until the next look fantastic box comes out and pay for that one.

I’ve been a member for a few months and still on the fence about the products. I had a reaction to the triple hyaluronic serum recently and it has kind of put me off, I’m back to using my little Inkey List one. The One Powder I wasn’t impressed with at first but I have started applying it with a Real Techniques microfibre powder sponge and I really like it but applying it with a powder brush was pretty rubbish.

I'm currently signed up to birchbox and have been for about two years now and I have seriously been thinking of cancelling my subscription with them as I hardly use and of the products i receive and everything is so small. I signed up to this during lockdown. I had to really hunt around to find skincare with no fragrance, but they do have a few things I can use:
Japan fusion cleanser
Super healthy skin cleanser
Super retinol and ceramides
Vitamin c capsules
Super healthy skin lotion
SPFs
And their make up is well worth the subscription fee, and brushes, my god! This is where it more than earns it's keep for me. Their lipsticks alone are worth it in fact! Haven't tried their Foundation yet, they haven't had the swatches available for me to shade match.

I just can't abide their nonsense allowance based on a fictional price, which they say is 'typical', but I can name high-end products in that product, like their £100 cream thing is nonsense. I could name 5 creams similar, all very high-end and highly rated between £40 and £75. I wish they would simply give you an allowance based on cost, so £10 subscription, with a £50 value spend. Hope that makes sense Gemma.

I hated the mascara too. It managed to both be dry and smudgy (quite a triumph!) the colour eyeshadow sticks are too creamy for me they feel wet. I bought about five at once and Im not keen! The one powder wonder I really like, I found its pointless at the start but then I found if you rub a beauty blender (or equivalent) in it, get quite a lot on, and then do under your eyes and cheeks its looks lovely. I also love the foundation, not the best but a good every day one for the price. I really don't like the Japan fusion cleanser! I found it doesn't take any of my make up off but I know others love it. I love the collagen lip oil and their serums are brilliant. It's so hit an miss and tbh I think their make up is naff but when you find a few good products they become your holy grail! I'm going to get the brushes soon I think on your recommendation, it's just sooo much out of my allowance! Great vid, sorry for the long comment!
I love Beauty Pie, my top favourite is their body cream...oh the scent and the feel on application is amazing. Just tried the matching body wash and it’s just as good, great for dry skin. I also love the plantastic cleansing balm with their double sided cleansing cloths. I didn’t get on with the future shine lipstick, I tried 2 different shades and my lips started to burn, last time I used it my lips were burned and cracked for a week.
Omg love the healthy skin cream. I need to get the body wash. Bummer you have a sensitivity to something in the lipstick but I'm in LOVE with the the collagen infused lip oil. I need them all!
Gemma send me the One Powder Wonder and the three blush/highlighted palette if they need a new living home 😂 Only kidding but I do love them both and use them to diffuse and blend out my eye make up and blush. Brilliant on my post menopausal skin. The One Powder Wonder is a reasonable primer hack if pushed too. Has your Mum tried them as I do?

This is so funny, as I was just thinking that I never hear about Beauty Pie any more. I joined, bought the bronzer (like the Charlotte Tilbury) a face palette (like the Charlotte Tilbury), a concealer in the lightest shade which was way too dark, and foundation samples. Really disappointed in the these products. The palette was chalky, too metallic - just not good. Just got the Retinol am & Pm creams, and another eyeshadow palette (a bit warm, but seems better than the last one). Getting the Vit C capsules next time. Definitely think the skin care is their forte - and will try a few more. Did you get your lips done again?

Your spending limit is made up of the typical price but the price you'd pay is the members price. So it you paid £10 per month and got a spending limit of £100 a month, you could buy the cream in the video with a typical price of £100 and then your spending limit would be reached for that month. You would only pay £11 though. All in all for that month, you've paid £10 subscription and £11 for products £21 total and received goods totalling a typical value of £100 xxx

Wait I’m confused about how it works. You pay a monthly subscription fee and also pay members price for the products you order on top of the fee? Can you buy these products elsewhere? If not, how do you know they are high end and worth as much as they say?
trish each product is shown with two prices a non-members price which is higher (and what BP reckon it would cost if you bought it on the high street) and a members price which is much lower. To buy at the lower members price you pay a membership fee, which has different levels depending on the monthly spend you want (£100 or £200). The monthly spend limit is based on the higher price so your allowance doesn’t go as far as you might think. Are some of the products worth the higher price they state? Probably not tbh but the lower value price is very good on most products. So you have to factor in the monthly membership fee, the price of the product plus the £5 postage- is it worth it? Not now The Inkey List etc are getting easier to buy on the High STreet
