      Hey, you should definitely do your research! A ketogenic diet can have so many benefits. I personally prefer the carnivore diet the most, but for cancer, any keto diet that gets you the lowest GKI according to Professor Seyfried is the best! I like the high fats to keep on weight! Hope all this stuff helps!

    I was diagnosed with stage 4 parotid (salivary) squamous carcinoma in 2017.
    I had radical head and neck surgery in 2018.
    I refused chemo and radiation. Keto is what changed my life around and has kept me alive. Keto + 0 sugar + 0 dairy = effective results. I try to keep my carbs to 10gm per day. I follow keto the way Elaine Cantin describes in her book, The Cantin Ketogenic Diet, available on Amazon.
    I looked up suppleme ts myself, but I also use Jane McLelland's book see pic.

    More ideas, from what I take:
    - Metformin (This is one of the off-label drugs prescribed by Care Oncology, for instance); lowers glucose, but also other anti-cancer mechanisms; got from my ND
    - Chromium Picolinate (supposed to lower glucose)
    - Omega-3 Fish Oil supplements; good for anti-inflammation (our diets typically are overbalanced with too much omega6 and not enough omega3) and I saw a scientific paper with omega3 exploding cancer cells, so I imagine that possibility
    - Reishi mushrooms (just to lower stress)
    - Vitamin C (competes with glucose for transport; also may help immune system)
    - Cinnamon (sometimes lowers blood sugars)
    - Melatonin (I don't remember the details; it's not for sleep, but it may be more specific to me?)

    • @H4KnSL4K

      I forgot:
      - Garcinia Cambogia; I remember this mentioned in a video by Dr. Berg regarding what he would take if he had cancer. I didn't find the video on youtube as I searched a moment ago. But it works in combination with some of the other supplements
      - Black Seed Oil

    Please don't tell people you are carnivore, if you eat 2-1 ratio fats protein, people trying this will end up with very bad gkis because they think of it as meat, muscle meat only, maybe some eggs. max of 50-50 gramwise protein to fats, thats what "classic carnivores" would do, it is a ketogenic diet!!!

    • @jasonwatson6104

      Interesting. I will have to ask Dr. Nhi for clarification as to why she wears one. I have not got one yet, just something that would be nice( alot of smart cancer pacients i know use one like Jeff and Dr. Nhi. Is there one maybe that monitors blood glucose possibly?

    • @jasonwatson6104
      @jasonwatson6104  3 місяці тому +2

      I just looked up the Libre 2. It doesn't clarify. However, the Libre 4 in the UK has continuous ketone monitoring and glucose monitoring. I'm not sure if it's blood glucose or not. I was recommended to use it for cancer since this video specifically mentioned the Libre 2 or 4 if I know someone in the UK. I'm not sure. I will have to look into this more before I buy one.

    • @terryolay4613

      Wrong, the glucometer reads glucose in capillaries, CGM reads glucose in interstitial fluid.

    • @jasonwatson6104
      @jasonwatson6104  3 місяці тому +2

      Like I said, this could be I am not sure. I just know alot of people like Dr. Nhi has a CGM and it helps her track any unexpected spikes. I also know the Liber 4 tracks kitones somehow. I am not sure tho. I have not looked into it much. I just like the idea of constantly watching my Glucose. I have not bought a CGM yet.

    I take fenben 5 days a week, at the 222mg dose. You are taking that multiple times per day? Any concerns? If it truly has anti-cancer boosting effects, I would like to bump that up, but from what I've seen the 222mg per day is pretty standard. (I'm also not stage 4 yet)

      @H4KnSL4K
      Yes this is some of my notes and a link to a test.
      Fenbendazole Mode-Of Action
      How does this amazing drug work in relation to cancer?
      Fenbendazole has the ability to fight cancer by halting the mitosis of cancer cells through multiple pathways.
      1) It bonds to and disrupts the micro tubulin of abnormal cells.
      2) It inhibits glucose delivery to cancer cells.
      3) It reduces glucose uptake in cancer cells by down regulating GLUT transporters.
      4) It acts as a kinase inhibitor and helps block the formation of new blood vessels necessary for tumors to survive.
      5) It stimulates the P53 to suppress and fight tumors.
