Baby deer on our front porch. *update in description

update It was our first time seeing a baby deer on our property. We called animal control and they said it is normal for the mother deer to go away for a bit to eat and regain energy when a fawn is born. She’ll come back. This baby started exploring the whole neighborhood and didn’t stay at our house. I’m positive that the mother came back for it. A few weeks later we saw a mother deer and her young fawn crossing the road near our home. And we’ve seen them multiple times since.
