Thanks to this video, I solved a long time problem that no other washing machine repair "expert" managed to identify, apart from the loads of money I would have spent (wastefully) had I fallen for all the wrong advice given. Cheers !!

Finally, an actually helpful video with real information to fix the problem. I watched several hilariously stupid videos with terrible advice and unbelievable solutions, like putting pool noodles on the machine. WTH?

If leveling dont solve your problem, check that the feet are clean and so is the floor. Lint or other dirt may have built up under them and caused them to loose grip on the floor. Such was my case. After going thru the leveling process and making sure that all parts that may cause a vibration problem were checked, my washer would still walk across the floor and bang into the wall on the spin cycle. It wasnt until I checked the foot pads that I finally realized that had been the cause all along. Since the washer had never done this dance in all the years I have owned it and it has been many. 24 to be exact, and it was only recently it had begun to do its thing, which is what finally opened my eyes to what it could be. So if your washer has sat in the same location for a long time, it maybe that it has some debris that is causing the feet to loose grip with the floor.

I just received this washer and the delivery men did not level it. The back levelers are impossible to get a tool in as the space to the nut is very small. Where do I get a tool small enough to fit.

How would you adjust the legs in their final location for an under-counter washing machine that has no access to the rear at all and heavily restricted access to the front legs?

I am surprised at how much the washer shakes when washing a load of clothes. Reminds me of the washer my Mom had years ago.

OK GE..I just had a new washer delivered and the lock nuts on the leveling legs won't move at all! I tried calling to speak with a technician and was not helped. The automated operator does not have an option for asking installation questions. What kind of appliance company does not have a number to call with simple questions like mine? This video makes the lock nuts look like they're easily loosened...mine are absolutely locked in place ....I know there must be a simple solution but there is no one to ask at when contacting GE. I think that when someone spends over a thousand dollars on an appliance there should be an easy to call installation tech available.
