Bro Apple snapped with this plugin. I tried it this morning, and I was like... I like this.. An no disrespect to you, but it sound better than all your expensive plugins. That's not a knock to you, but more to show how good it actually sounds.
If you not running the new silicon chip like the M1,M2 or M3, the mastering chain doesn't work...I'm still running the last Intel chip on my Imac Pro 2020...can't charge between the characters on this tool if you not using an M chip...
@@OfficialFCMusic was playing with the mastering assistant and I think it will probably be my new standard. My mastering chain is Logic's stock adlimiter, the stock channel EQ, the stock Gain, and the Logic Pro X Loudness Meter. If a mix seems lacking highs I put either the Steven Slate Fresh Air on top of the chain, which is my only outboard plugin, and/or the stock Exciter at the top or bottom of the chain, depending on what type of overhead enhancement I want to enable. I’m glad you put that out there I’m checking correlation meter and what not. Studying how to work with others in music production and mastering songwriting and musicianship. But had to stop and figure in this new mastering assistant. I’m actually going to release my first song using it. This is some interesting. Will I only use just that? I think it can in mastering.
You hit it at the end. If you use mastering assistant, as an assistant, in conjunction with your mastering chain, it works wonderfully. I think MA gets you right about there but if you put a pultec or other eq on prior to, it rounds it out. Try it with your regular mastering chain, then add MA at the end, re-analyze it, and see if you like it.
Logic is amazing. I’ve had the pleasure to mix through RND MBP hardware unit lately and I feel my masters are pretty much done, we’ve been using the new Slate Virtu AI mastering for a final touch and that’s about it! Thanks for the video dude.
The only thing it sucks is my Mac is intel and not m1 so I’m missing some of these features and I can’t find an M1 chip and I’m not trynna to buy another m1 mac. Apple so crazy expensive and so it seems I’m stuck to just mastering it instead through bandlab mastering

Imagine how much turn around time can be eliminated if you get good at using this tool to master your music before you dub it back into your quick share videos. And yes, i agree with the guy below...that's a really good song.
my preference would be to use this with dynamics set to zero in combination with the Pro-L2, which i think does a better job of limiting. you could also use this as an analysis tool to get an idea of where you might be able to improve your eq. if you just wanted to throw out a quick master for a demo, this would be invaluable. i'd like to see someone run it up against the Lurssen mastering console, just for comparison.
just updated after whatching your video! now a lot of my plugins when you open them show ⍰ when it comes to selecting presets etc. any idea what to do there?
I’ve kept Izotope ozone updated for years but I still struggle with it. The mastering assistant seems too reliant on identifying a genre and I can’t classify my tracks under any of the choices. The simplicity of the Logic version could suit me more.
Brother, maybe you can help me. I create a new track in Logic Pro x in my laptop, but I can’t see my instruments on the left side. I checked and the sound library option on the menu says that all instruments are installed. But I don’t see them. Help please please?
I was so stoked to try all the new features out but realized my Mac doesn’t support the new update :( I’ve heard there’s ways to install Ventura on older macs but was wondering if it would be stable or would it just keep crashing my mac
I also prefer your original plugin chain. I’m yet to properly experiment with Logic’s new mastering tool but I quite like the sound of EZMix when it comes to mastering..
Probably would add a plug-in alliance townhouse bus compressor first Then a fab filter pro q3 then into a mcdsp multi and compressor and maybe a pulteq eq - into this mastering suite
I think proper emphasis should be given to the word "assistant". Yes, it can give you a reasonably decent sheen. However, if you want it to match your own chain, due dligence must be done on a variety of fronts, namely eq'ing and compression / expansion, before putting the assistant to work.

@@hilaryburrows9487 that makes absolutely zero sense.
