Mature & switched on Ashly . Good team member & knows his own mind.
You're joining just at the right time and we've got a fantastic job out there... says CO who'll be sitting at Bastion.

@@NINJASWORDification 😂🤣
It would be interesting to know what these young men are doing now?
Don’t bother my friend gave his life for his country and they spelt his name wrong on the death letter sent to his family it’s disgusting the lack of respect for a brave young man’s sacrifice is unreal.
I’m off on 13th October, Royal Artillery 💪
Update?
Luke Carlin In unit now! Passed Phase 1 & 2. Best thing Iv done.
@@danielfrewen4095 still enjoying it?
When I got out of training, in the US Army, I had 3 weeks, just 21 days before I was going to Iraq for, at the very least, a year.
I WISH my deployments had only been 6 months
I was thinking of joining when I was 18 then just didn't because I got learning disabilities and am a bit death in my right ear
As a old soldier I see wat everyone’s meaning in my time it was the faulklands and Northern Ireland, finished my time in Belfast
Quilts? What happened to bed blocks.
Your a ninja, mums know. Love it.
“It is now open”
Hmmmm u don’t say
No money just respect and hard work
Ashley can hold his head high.
It isn’t for everyone.
It’s to his credit that he saw that clearly.
I wish him well.
Padre's always have Airborne wings. The Army's biggest mystery.
Padres (plural) never have apostrophes. One of the mysteries of the English language.
The padre at 42NW was a recce in South Africa back in the days. Certainly got some wings on him
They are so brave, they are so young and in war time its a massive desicion to make
I wonder how many of them are still alive
Hopefully all of them
Not a lot
15% killed in Afghan
15% dead(suicide)
30% drink or substance abuse
10% serving long prison services inc life
10% still serving
10% married and living a normal life with meaningful employment
10% missing
Or dead due to ptsd suicide.
Nothing but Love fellas
I don't get some of these kids. I joined the U.S. Navy at 18, knowing the role of potential sea combat. I did 8 years 3 deployments(including Desert Storm). We had no Iphones then. we did letters. No personal TV. My Bootcamp was hard.
American mentality is not British mentality. Simple as that.
That's a song by the clash.....
Starting my phase one training in January and this is just make me wish it would just get here now
Connor Thackway 21st of January? If I pass selection I could be sent to phase 1 on the 21/01/18 what regiment are you going for?
The Red Branch Bard did it go to plan? If you don't have a problem answering.
I hope to join the aac (army air corps)
Don't
Don’t join it. You would rather join the raf then aac
Go on join the army air corps best regiment in the army there's a aac unit in hillsea portsmouth ta centre thinking of joining. Don't join raf
RAF get treated much better, more options aswell. AAC you’ll just be refuelling the helicopter until you’re a Sgt 😂
Does anyone know if much of this is still *roughly* how it is in terms of basic training?
Love you David Martin x
start in march! cant wait!
Stephanie Fishwick good look mate and have a good one
thank you!
which regiment ?
AFC Harrogate?
Already waiting for selection dates
DeadHook I’ve got my 2 day assessment on the 27th November. GL to you mate
@@walsh632 Good luck for tomorrow mate!
At the start of the video what’s the name of the background music
Also respect to the parents
Question ? What ever happened to the 26 Mile battle run as in Ex - Final Fling ?
that im aware of your not allowed to leave the army unless youve been discharged
Contrast to that Defending the Queen documentary where those new grenadiers were all desperate to deploy and none of these lads here really seem that up to deploying
Cos guardsmen are brainwashed into thinking they are invincible, I should know I was one.
I want to join the army but I don't know how
Go to a careers center
Look on the website or go to career centre
Thankyou for your service 🙏🙏🙏
