I've been a batista for about 4 months now and I'm the only one that of of all the employees that can make perfect latte milk every time... I credit this video with my success.
Today it’s my first day as a person that doesn’t have this piece of equipment nor will ever be a barista yet decided that watching this videos was worth is.
I had to get get trained by a older lady who doesn’t know coffee as much as she thinks. I worked at a coffee place prior but they had a cappuccino option for mixing and this one is you doing it yourself. I had to figure out stealing myself and the milk would sometimes smell burnt and now I know why. Thankyou for the video🫶🏼
Crazy how making a perfectly textured milk is probably the toughest part of making latte art. After few months, I'm still getting real close to consistent and perfection. Gotta have the right PID temp, machine idle time before working, tip positioning, and the pitcher size to milk ratio.
Thanks for the video! I try to explain the techniques to colleges from day to day. But together with this video, they can see how to create the correct foam😁
Love your videos I m very interesting about streaming that perfectly it’s not easy when I try but the professional make it easy so I would like to try again and again for more skill
Hey Cian ! Thank you for the comment. If your are looking to make latte art with the minimum, I suggest to you to take a look a this video to give you a better understanding of the basics ! ua-cam.com/video/KCTPwLWrXO4/v-deo.html&lc=Ugy1KPqtme1Ecko4DNN4AaABAg
1:44 "the tone changes for a lower sound" I don't understand, does the lower sound means it is burnings? Lower sound means it's a bad thing? So I need to move lower?
A lower sound means it's burning, it's a bad thing. You have to keep the right position and steam till you have the good temperature. You should stop before the tone changes to a lower sound !
In addition to the sound, you should also place one hand at the side (approximately where the milk level is) or bottom of the pitcher when steaming, once the pitcher gets hot to the touch, stop steaming.
Hi thx for everything ❤️, I make all the steps right but I have one matter after I pure the coffee I can art put the art drew came late whay? I don't know if it's I need to make more foam? ❤️
@@CoffeetoArt Thanks for the response. I'm currently looking for a budget machine for home use that's good for latte art. Do you have any recommendations? Oscar is a little bit expensive for me
Does the air pressure coming out on the machine matters? I always failed to have the right consistency, I create whirlpool while steaming the milk and I also have the same sound but it took awhile to have a deep sound, when I try to pour it on the crema (1 shot) it only mixed in all the way through :( i don't know what to do..
The steam power of the espresso machine matter in term of consistency. This is the commun issue with cheap espresso machines. If you combine whirlpool and tapping your milk after the steam, it may help a bit !
Hey ! You should first aim for a coffee beans you like but if you don't have any crema out of it, try do find something slightly darker. Dark roast coffee are easier to work with when doing latte art !
Your video is so easy to follow, yet I still not getting it right😢I tried different milk companies, low and fat and with different milk temperature 😔I think the type of my coffee machine is the problem!!
When you overheat milk , lactose reacts with proteins and forms a brown side products and undesirable aroma. It's all about reactions with the milk proteins and fat.
Another way, in addition to the sound, you can place one hand at the side or bottom of the pitcher, when you steamed till the pitcher is hot to the touch, thats the point where you should stop steaming
I thought i was getting the right texture, but everytime I pour the milk it doesn’t show up on the crema until i’ve run out of space or milk to use, I’ve used bigger cups and stuff, i’m starting to think I need a thicker consistency the whole way through, any ideas?
@@CoffeetoArt Hey i’ve tried using a thicker milk and it’s so much better, thank you, i’ve managed to get the perfect texture and now I just need to practice pouring it properly to get the right shape, thanks so much for the help!

1:44 "the tone changes for a lower sound"

A lower sound means it's burning, it's a bad thing. You have to keep the right position and steam till you have the good temperature. You should stop before the tone changes to a lower sound !
@@CoffeetoArt thanks! 😊

Around 65°c is a good area to aim for

so to get the ideal temprature basically we can check by the sound ? if the sound starting to change that means thats enough is that correct?
Coffee ☕️♥️🇳🇵

I been practicing w water a dish soap but still ended burning the milk. Tysm for the tips.
I would like to try tin foum milk

What is a good espresso I can buy at a store? I'm doing this at home now and I barely got the frothing right.

Hey Ruby ! Steam power is the first issue for good consistency milk. I hope you figured something out by now !
No wonder my foam is weird.. now i know the tips
Happy to read that Sumin ! Thank you :)
Hi! When you say the milk is burning or burned, what does that exactly mean? Like what is happening to the milk and why is it a bad thing?
When you overheat milk , lactose reacts with proteins and forms a brown side products and undesirable aroma. It's all about reactions with the milk proteins and fat.
i tried with milk frother. but why i produce so much foam? is that can to make latte art?
❤️❤️☕☕
So do you stop steaming it when you hear that lower sound or do you stop before that sound even comes up?
Just before Ivan ! I recommend using a thermometer the first few times so you can have an idea really quick !
Another way, in addition to the sound, you can place one hand at the side or bottom of the pitcher, when you steamed till the pitcher is hot to the touch, thats the point where you should stop steaming

I guess it could be the problem yes ! Try with a thicker milk and if you can't make it after few tries, write back to me !
