I love these old XRs. Definitely had my share of them over the years and they never fail to amaze me. Just bought an 86 XR200r a few days ago for $275, has issues so I'll be tearing it apart here soon. Building it, a 91 XR200r, a 88 XR250r, and a 90 CR250r. Can't go wrong with a good ole Honda.
You said it! I have had a couple xr200 and xr250's been the best bikes ever. I too am looking for another xr250 street legal so I can ride to the trails and then hit trails all day and ride back home, I miss those days...good luck with yours!

Not lately 7 days a week trying to keep up with the demand, I only film a third of what come through the shop. I also did some mobile work in between these jobs where I go to customers houses to work on their prized possessions.
@@felipebanuelos1143 take it apart, put all pieces in a bucket inspect everything. Make sure the float doesn't have any pinhole leaks. Soak parts in CLR cleaner in the bucket. Scrub everything, blow out all passages in carb and blow out jets. Install new needle and seat, reset float height to manufacturer spec. Reassemble with new gaskets. Voila!
In this video I hadn't adjusted the valves yet, they needed adjustment to really quite down that motor.

I'm not certain, it was a customer's bike. I assumed it was stock.
Can i use it as a daily vehicle ?
This is not street legal. You would have to use a honda xl200 or xl250, with lights and turn signals.

How tall are you? I’m thinking of buying one and I’m not sure if it’ll be too tall for me
I'm 5' 9". You can adjust the shock some to make it lower if need be.
Looks like more suspension travel than stock.
It's a customer's bike, but I believe he said it was stock.
