Very cool Keith before my stroke I was into RC Cars big time, I have the 1/8 Traxxas Funny Car with the After market Weld Wheels. Sitting in a shelf not able to run it anymore. But your Camaro is badass
with an aftermarket radio you can ramp the throttle curve so it doesnt apply full throttle out of the hole and there is a video here somewhere that talks you thru the bump stops in the shocks. getting travel in the shocks is a must. Good Luck with it and keep posting
The biggest beef i had with the car was, like you said, the car hooked hard right out of the box....mine hooked hard left no matter what......swapping the spacers on the rear springs around a few times fixed the hooking. Great video. Keep up the good content.
You have a good choice in the body you have. The tires that you have coming in are Avery good choice. I have the same body you have gone to to. And I have a viper body. I made all the same in oil. My best in box stock is 2.15. Keep going your on the right track
Duct tape or most any tape won’t stop the tires from burning the body the only thing I found that worked is aluminum foil tape. It last a really long time and it’s not thick and it’s pretty cheap. I ran a 100c 5000mah 2s for a little bit till a friend sold me his 7000mah 250c 2s and it was like putting in a 3s big difference. I also found that this car does pretty good with 500k diff silicone and where I run you have to run the stock electronics from the big three Slash, DR10, 22s and this car does better with a VXL esc with that 6500kv.
Really nice car. That's the one problem with those lexan bodies...one crash usually messes them up pretty quick. At least you didn't tear it at the body mounts or the spoiler.
I just bought this same car, haven't even been able to drive it yet, as soon as I put the Throttle on, it shoots 90 degrees to the right, I've up graded the shocks, still can't figure out why it just wants to shoot right, any ideas
My first question are you doing a burnout if not you should get some carpet so you can clean the tires up and heat them up at the same time and my second question is how tight is your slipper clutch if it’s tight loosen it till it goes straight

I used to race high bank oval Nascar we would set a throttle lag back in the '90s. It was built into the TX as a function via a button.

Thanks for sharing bro
Try a 23 and 24 tooth pinon 25 might let it stutter to much at the start
