Been trying to do crossovers for a week now, after watching this video and practicing with you it finally clicked!!! I still can't put my feet crossed next to each other while rolling but I finally feel like I just need to practice. Big thank you, I'm so happy
Your videos, personality, and ways are just amazing! I just started rollerskating two weeks ago, I've been watching your tutorials and learning a lot! Greetings from Casablanca - Morocco!
As someone who has been skating for 32 yrs, this is a great instructional video. I learned this as a kid but I've struggled to teach others, this will help. Thank you! 🥰
yesterday was my second day on wheels and i learned how to do a right leg in front crossover ! today i'll learn it woth my left leg and perfect stopping and rolling backwards
I'm so happy I found your channel! I love that you have all these tutorials in one place so when you're just starting out and have no idea what you're doing, you can just follow your tutorials and always find new moves to practice. Thank you!! :) xx

I think you have so much information and practises in one video that could probably be broken down into a few tutorials for people to decipher! This way you could have more content easily too! Thanks so much for your teaching it’s been really helpful! Please don’t stop making the tutorials 😊
Thanks, I love your explanation of the weight distribution. I'm a beginner and it's time to start crossovers! Also, LOVE that tshirt! Anything with a moon makes me swoon, LOL
Seriously Great way of teaching 🔥 tricks ..I will do these all surely sooner.. Keep making these stuff .. This is the proper way for telling techniques with all the pitfalls .. Seriously loved your channel ❤️
Thank you for this. I am planning to go roller skating. I was exposed to ice skating and roller blading around 10 to 17 years old on and off. I am not a pro or anything near that. I just enjoyed it truly. I went ice skating again last 2018 then stopped. But this time i really wanna get good at it. I am now 32 though. Is that too late? What are your thoughts on a plus size skater? Should I lose weight first before I start practicing again. I’d like to know your opinion. 🧡 Thanks in advance. 😊
Love your videos! Personally I have a huge problem holding inner edges. I'm very comfortable with outside edges, but I really struggle to just glide in a straight line let alone hold an inner edge... I feel like every time I'm on one foot I go outside... I watched a lot of tutorials on edges, and I just can't push my inside edges any more than I do, it's like no matter what I do I always go outside, it's so frustrating! I even bought insoles like you mentioned in one of your videos (even though I don't have flat feet) but it didn't help at all. I would be so glad if you had any tips to fix this!!😭😭
When i was younger i used to go roller skating every friday and i dint know how to turn without doing a crossover. I still to this day can barely turn without doing crossovers
So I usually skate on ice (I have no rink which is open during summer in my area so I try to get into roller scating) and I can’t cross over bc I have my legs too tight. Is there any trick how to not get the rolls stuck?
@@ThatNicoleFiore the back wheel of one skate goes into the space between front wheel and back wheel. I always fail when I try to get my feet apart so they won’t get stuck
I am just a beginner in these rollerskates it's my 2nd day and I do not know the way or motion the legs are moving while u r skating. Just show me the way we move our legs while skating
I didn't think about practicing it while standing still ... putting on my skates asap to practice!!

Thats why my cross over always made me tripa nd fall LOLI FINALLY UNDERSTOOD! THANK U SO MUCH!
Little out of nowhere on such an old video, but where did you get that awesome Death Star shirt?
When you say put the weight on the inside of the foot - do you mean inside when crossed, or the usual inside (like side of your big toe)? :)
What wheels to use??!

Are you clipping your wheels together or hitting the from of your skate?

What brand are your wheels? Love your videos so much.
I use Roll Line or Sure Grip Fame indoors and I’ve been using Atom Pulse outside!
@@ThatNicoleFiore thksssss
So I'm having issues crossing over backwards while in motion and can NOT figure it out. and tips?
Gabriela Mattos can you send me a video on insta so I can see the issue?
Or can you explain it more? 😊
That Nicole Fiore omg you Rock! Sent a video on insta
im struggling soooo bad rn omg i think i fell over like 9 times but i love this playlist sm i can do scissors so easily
It's all part of the process - just keep trying! Congrats on the scissors!
What kind\brand are those skates? Are they pro ?
M Castro yea, these are a Harlick boot/ Roll Line plate setup
I've gotten really good at right over left crossovers but that reverse direction though... oof
Haha yeaaaaa that happens!
😍😍
i can tell your toes are always pointed :)
I try!!
My thighs seem to be too fat to cross properly
Being left handed/footed is such a disadvantage sometimes.
