Am I supposed to see the Catholic girl as the villain as story 3 just because she was boring? She told him exactly what to expect and he pursued her anyway, and then cheated on her!
It's annoying. I see this a lot of the time, when there's a decent girl/woman that saves herself for someone special, she ends up with a cheating asshole.
This is Reddit we're talking about -- one of the biggest cesspits of fedora-tipping militant atheist neckbeards on the internet. Of course you're supposed to see the Catholic girl as the villain of the story because she's Catholic, and by extension, because she refused to put out when her cheating scumbag of a boyfriend wanted. That's what landed her the "boring" label in the first place.
Story 3: So, the whole group hates the friends fiance because she's a "buzzkill", catholic and wants to wait until marriage. Then when the groom cheated on her, they all kept it secret. And he then talked shit about his wife to the woman he cheated with? Sounds like the only bad choice was her still deciding to marry this looser. This while group just sounds like relationship trainwrecks.
Yeah, that whole story had me wondering "am I supposed to think the catholic girl is the villain in this story? She was upfront about what she wanted, he chose to pursue her anyway when she made the difference in personality abundantly clear and then he got mad that she kept being exactly what she advertised and cheated on her." The group just sounds kinda shitty.
Ikr! I feel so bad for the wife! What a loser husband he is with such loser friends. I'm sad she did not know anyone with the decency to tell her. Clearly nobody there cared about how important it was for her to save it for marriage, or about her feelings having to find out like that.
Was that a typo on Story 3 when it said that when Wifey didn't want pre-marital sex "The group had been pissed about the whole thing and lead to some accelerated wedding plans."? When he first said it I thought he said the Groom was pissed because I can't imagine the rest of the group caring all that much whether or not the girl the guy *chose* to pursue despite their opposite personalities not putting out.
I'd assume the group wasn't specifically pissed at the "no sex before marriage" but at the fact that their friend was marrying into the town from Footloose
5:10 I hate it when people try to use kinks to excuse cruelty. There’s a difference between a scenario, where there is a lot of emphasis on consent, clear yes’s and no’s, and has to have a thorough sense of understanding and communication for it to work, and *not* just straight up abuse and infidelity.
I agree. I feel like there are people like that one bride-to-be who, like you said, use kink to mask actual cruel intentions. And from what I've learned from actual kinky people, there's not only clear consent for all parties involved, but also a lot of emphasis on after-care. The real kinky people out there are good with taking care of their partners and making sure they're OK. The abusers using kink to mask their bs are giving the other kinksters a bad name.
The first one is well intentioned but it’s seriously not their place. If they decided to not do it then you aren’t doing anyone any favours by kidnapping him. (Which doesn’t mean that I like the woman or think someone shouldn’t get a nights out). He’s a grown man and needs to stand up for himself and as a friend you should encourage and support him in doing so but railroading the whole situation like this will only escalate things further
@@CaliSaint no this has nothing to do with the bride, she sucks that’s no question. I’m just talking about the idea of “Hey my friend said no to X thing but we know better so we’re just gonna kidnap him” and that that is a bad idea.
I would be super ticked off if my friends kidnapped me. Idc what the reason is. I had friends not listen to me when I told them not to come over once. Once they got there they tried to push their way into my home. Someone was hiding out there and he came up behind me and they saw him and their eyes got wide af and they were like yes sir. The guy needed to get away from everyone* and knew no one would look for him at my house, so he spent 2 days sleeping on my couch. He murdered someone later because she was on meth and kept talking and talking. He told her shut up or I will shoot you. He wasn't lying. I think he did like 20 years for that. Moral of the story.. when your friend says no, respect that.
@@klm_shadow yes but he is a grown adult so it is his responsibility and job to talk that over with his fiancé. He’s not a Damsel. You aren’t going to help by kidnapping him. If anything you should try to encourage him to stand up for himself. Anything other than that is woefully unhelpful
Story 3: wait, if she was that strict of a catholic, then doesn't that mean she also doesn't believe in divorce? Also, she was NOT the villain of that story and I hope she found someone who truly cares about her afterwards.
@@MarcosSilva-ec1qu Nope, that is simply not true. 1) Divorce does not exist in canon law. 2) Nullification does. 3) This can be granted if the requirements of a marriage were not met. He can't for health reasons and I won't due to the stories I heard about my granddad. We plan to hire a cinema screen, play video games and films. Go to the arcade and maybe a escape the room.
I have seen so many of these types of videos, and you see Exes getting together with the sibling. Oddly I rarely see the ex getting with the sibling of the same sex as them.
Just heard a AITA post where this girl was a bridesmaid and the married MoH wanted to do a surprise and hired strippers. OP and 2 others who were uncomfortable left to the porch and OP told her boyfriend about the strippers and being uncomfortable. When she went back in after it had quieted down the MoH, the other bridesmaids who had stayed inside, and the bride were doing “NSFW activities” with the strippers. She called out the bride’s name in shock which seemed to pull her out of her drunken idiocy. The reason she was questioning if she was TALKING or not was because MoH berated her for “ruining” the bachelorette party.
Some of the typical parties are just stupid. It's almost like a test before the marriage to see what your spouse can forgive, but why do such things? A friend put a couple to the test and put his friends in a position none of them wanted to be in, but being the nicer guys, they didn't want to veto. It was a bad night for everyone and it still comes up years later, but not for reasons to laugh at.
Story 1: So instead of vocalizing her desire to have the relationship be more important than time with the boys, she threw a fit like a shrieking child, threatened to leave, and screamed into the night. Absolutely pathetic. Poor guy marrying that loser.

Especially if he came back smelling like liquor and started chugging more alcohol mid argument before leaving again.
