My first time meeting my father in law was after the wedding. I got pregnant three months after we got married and he decided to invite us to visit so we drove from Indiana to Missouri for a week long vacation. He got my husband drunk and then got into a fight with him. When I had a miscarriagea few months later, his response was "that's a blessing, y'all can't even take care of each other". I was willing to look past his overindulging and pressuring my husband to drink more than he wanted, I was willing to forgive his bullying, but I will never forgive him for celebrating the death of my baby!

That first story... you know, i really don't approve of arranging that person to be accosted by masked people and have her knees broken, because that's totally bad and wrong and illegal.
But i'd understand.
My mother fed me & my 2 autistic children ham that had turned bad.
She made a big pot of spaghetti & meatballs & said she didn't want any of the ham.
I knew she's a narcissist before that incident, but it really made me see her differently, knowing that she could do that on purpose.
Trust me, I know my mother, she did it on purpose.

Damn! I had a feeling ALLY SECURITY was the culprit in the story. That company screwed my sister over TWICE. She was suspended for escorting a suspended employee to HR..and fired for checking the cameras after her wallet and a pack of cigarettes disappeared from the factory cafeteria. She was told she should have gone to HR... DESPITE BEING BANNED FROM DOING SO. And fired for checking cameras...you know...doing HER JOB.

on the coffee thing, my best friend will offer me a "drink" of her coffee and i go to take a small sip and she will tip the cup more because according to her i dont take big enough drinks. I did instantly did not like one of my bosses because she stared changing all the rules for the store leaving me with long lines as a casher and then complaning i did not get any of my side work done. I asked her why do you not anwser the phone you carry to help with long lines and if i dont get help with a long line i cant get side work done.
I really hope the food guy evolved because he seemed very judgmental.
Family put out a spread of Asian food for a friend I invited over for dinner. He looked at it, and his first words were "so what foods are edible?" .... it was all edible
Some of us have major issues with foods we aren't accustomed to. But words matter, and it sounds like this friend didn't use the right ones.

Not sure in other countries, but here in Brazil, many cities (including the ones I lived) have nothing on the roundabouts, just the painting on the road. So it is quite common, depending on the day, for the craziest ones to just go straight forward instead of following the roundabout.
But never in front of cops, though. Guy really panicked here.

It is very sad, for me, to watch Dashcam videos from the US and Canada. Many people complaining about the "horrible things these drivers do", and when I see those so-called "horrible things", I can only say "just another Tuesday if it was here". For us to call someone a bad driver, it usually is someone who is actively trying to end themselves.
And no, I am not talking about small towns that nobody heard about. I'm talking São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and neighboring cities of these two. If one day, you got a chance to see or hear about the traffic here, you will see what I mean.
I got back in touch with an ex i hadn't talked to for a year or so and found that she had found someone's lost cat and was in the process of randsomeing it back to them. One of thouse "Oh now I remember why I stopped talking to you " moments.
Miss Watson, year 10, she witnessed a guy slam me against a wall and shout "f-g" in my face. This happened multiple of times a day. Well this time apparently I teared up or something (bound to happen to even the thickest skinned person after months upon months) because Miss Watson pulled me to one side and asked if everything was ok because I never used to let that kind of thing bother me.
Before then, she was one of my favourite teachers, but that made me instantly hate her.

I've worked for AUS for nearly 5 years. The company does care for its employees IF the local management is competent. If your supervisor isn't communicating with your Account Manager and/or if your AM isn't communicating with the Regional Manager; then yes you are going to have a bad time. Had two terrible AMs in a row until we got our current one at my contract site. Place has been running smoothly since then.
The company is responsible for the hiring and maintenance of its managers... Allied universal was an absolute nightmare to work for and they under paid like crazy for what they expected of us and the fact I almost lost my apartment because they would always try to short me on pay checks or be 2 weeks late to pay me at all is insane. If I knew then what I did now, I'd have sued the shit out of allied
Met an aquaintance with a mutual interest in whiskey. I have a number of other interests while he was relatively new to bourbon.
Fast-forward half a year, and he starts to brag about how his 400 dollar bottles are so much better from camping overnight and joining flipping/scalping clubs. I say that's cool and nice, but I'm just more interested in scotch and travel. Instead of spending that much on a single bottle, I'd rather use it for trips and dinners.
He says that was a weird and stupid flex and that I could be better using my money for better and reselling bourbons. This is honestly one of the reasons I stay away from that crowd.

So, the wife that was hot by the car. Shes still having mobility issues 2 years later, is probably not taking anything for pain if she 'beat problems with prescription drugs ', and shes depressed. Does she need/ has she had surgery and has she followed up as obviously theres been no/minimal improvement. Are there other options for pain relief? Having your mobility changed or limited, and the possibility of unacknowledged and unaddressed chronic pain will cause depression. And self termination is a very real option to people dealing with those issues, because it just reaches that point of not not wishing to live one more day in constant unbearable pain and always dependent on others.

Came to see if there were any political reasons. I'm not like this, because I know there's more to a person than some bumper sticker, or comment. But I know people that if you like one person (or political party) or another, they hate you and wish the worst for you, just because of some politician you prefer. Such bullshit that people are like that. Both sides do this, unfortunately. Don't they realize that they both suck?

I try not to let political bias affect my relationship with people. But if its all you talk about I dont care what side youre on. I dont want anything to do with you.
All politicians suck in their own way. However, when someone makes liking their candidate their political identity, I get very wary about that. I can remember during the pandemic I was a nurse in a very busy and demanding unit... I tried to be understanding of my more conservative Friends, political belief. However, it got to a point where several of them when they asked me how I was doing, I would tell them I wasn't doing as well as I would have liked and they would often claim I was exaggerating or that I was outright pretending. I never thought I'd be that person to cut someone out of my life because of their political opinion, but when it's affecting how they're treating me I have to take a step back. I know not everyone's like that but I've just met way too many people who are and I think it affected me.
