That speed is crazy, and best thing is that it looks like a regular bike so you have the stealthy factor to keep the cops from giving you their attention.
Thanks for the info, I ran out of battery 25 miles from home one time, got s810 hub screen to light up and put it from 48 volts to 36 volts and limped it home in assist 1 which basically makes the bike even with pedal bikes and not heavy. It would have been a long day without the cheat! These battery meters are useless and have found watching volt drop is much more accurate. I’m interested to see how your bike does on hills!
Once I get a Chain ring that can hit my biggest back gear a hill clime video will be in the making. Also looking to revisit some tours that I had to hike a bike on.
I believe if you want the throttle to work on pedal assist zero you need to set pedal assist 0 to 1%. With that setting your throttle works regardless of whether pedal assist is on or not. I could be mistaken about that. Good video
Indeed that will work to give zero mode throttle. Think I'll keep my mode zero as a off mode that records miles and speed. My mode 1 is so eco that I calculated that I can get 428 miles out of my big battery (48v 20ah) on flat, but that with me doing 9/10 the work (24w-54w motor output)
@@Eric_Tennant That’s crazy amount of mileage. I always figure I’m safe to 100 miles with no problem. I use a 17.5 amp hour, maybe it would go a lot more, but maybe not. I find the only time my motor is being used is when it’s going uphill or getting up to speed. Typically when I get to cruising it drops to zero output. I’ve also to now my max output to avoid any issue of overheating.
Thanks for sharing! I'm considering putting a mid drive on my specialized stumpy full suspension, talking to local shops around here all I hear is, "your frame can't handle that torque", "you'll snap your chain", you'll ruin/strip your cassette", you'll have no center clearance" "just buy a pre made one from us" 🤷🤯
Big kicker with pre made ebikes is the cost of an extra battery. They made it so they're the only ones that make it for said bike. My oldest battery heavily used lasted only 3.5 year before I had to order a spot welder to repair it (Video coming later). Now with a bike company by that time may not make the battery anymore and repairing is a bit dangerous.
@@Eric_Tennant Thanks for the input. I can see where a pre made one would have advantages, ie, warranty, not being able to use tools, etc. I've worked on cars for thirty years so maybe I can figure this out?
Sounds like the play store system is bugging out. If It was just a unable to install error I would say " Make sure that you have a stable internet connection. A weak or unstable connection can cause problems with app installations. Check if your device has enough storage space to install the app. If your device's storage is full, you may need to free up some space before you can install the app."
It a Marlin 7! 1. First problem is the bottom bracket could be somewhat out of shape. ua-cam.com/video/7wikIUxtnQQ/v-deo.html 2. Make sure you get the right chain ring ua-cam.com/video/CBBde5yRW7M/v-deo.html 20.5 is best for this bike. 3. Your going to need two chains to create the right length chain to get onto the biggest gear. (Let me know if you need a video on this and I'll make one)
The bigger the front gear is the fast it will go; However caution with the rear gears as I just locked out my fastest (10th gear) because I have wear on it causing the chain to slip in that gear. Lost about 2-3mph by that. All the other gears are fine. Reprogramming it you can have custom pedal assist modes, but if the battery can push out 1300-1500w not much more can be done without changing the controller to 72v by replacing that part of the hardware. Check mode 9 and make sure its giving 100% some retailers set there own settings and may lower its top output. The other hack is to lie about wheel size. I have not tested this as I don't think that my limiting factor. Hit 34 mph on flat when my gears were new. The throttle is the only way to get a true 100% out of it. Pedaling wants to only put out around 1000 watts .

Save often, make minor changes, and test. Is the road I use with it. App also great if your break your screen.
That happens when you set "Designated Assist Level" to anything other than "By Display's Command".
Stop delay is for when you stop pedalling how fast the motor deactivates
