    I have the BBS02 750w. Thank you for making this. I dont like pedal assist. I just want 100% throttle on PAS 0. I can do that or set the throttle menu 'designated assist level' to something other than "designated by command". I live in Detroit and will be using this to haul groceries home in a bike trailer. So I know this is needed. Thank you sir!

    I've fitted a Tsdz2B to my road bike I like the way it works just like beaning pushed, having seen your videos I will leave it at its stock settings for six months so I can get used to it, after that I will give it a go at changing the settings. Thanks for the videos.👍👍👍👍👍

    the new CANbus BBS02 kit has a new display DP C010 CB that can be bluetooth paired to your cell phone with the BafangGO+ app.. All the parameters can be adjusted including the amps output on each level of PAS. No more need to have a USB Bafang programming cable to plug in.. All don't with bluetooth now,. :)

    I'm not 100% sure if that is the main reason, but my PAS stopped working after messing up with Speeed software.
    The throttle/pedestrian mode worked just fine, but suddenly no PAS at any level.
    After many attempts I finally managed to make it work again but I have no idea how I did it and why I lost it.
    Brand new BBS02b 750W.
    I'm pretty much familliar with all the settings.

    Uso um bbs2 750w 48v em uma cargobike. A potência inicial é muito alta, consome muita bateria e é muito agressiva. Quero fazer essa reconfiguração. Antes preciso comprar o cabo adaptador. Grato!

    Hello, I have 500 watt rear hub bafang motor. Speed limit is 40km/h.
    How can I increase speed limit?
    All app and program's max speed limit is 40km/h.

    Good afternoon. I live in Mexico and I have a BAFANG 750 W 48V motor and a 48V 20Ah battery. I use 5 levels of assistance and my question is how should I distribute my current (left column)? That is, in your video you convert your energy support into linear from 1 to 9 levels of attendance (11, 22, 33, etc. until you reach 100% at level 9. My question is how do I divide that into only 5 levels? Thank you for your reply. 😉

    I have only just begun researching ebikes (I am 74 years old so going down hill is easy) but have found your channel more lucid than most. I want to convert a Trek 7.3 FX (disc brakes) using the Bafang 750W kit. You have covered most of the issues except throttles (thumb, twist and half twist) - your thoughts ?

      Yea you just want to lower the percent of power it gives so you dont wheelie when resting your foot on the pedal. Depends on what you want. I'm setting PAS - 0 to 100% so I get full throttle without PAS.

    Hi Luke, great videos, you've convinced me to buy a Bafang, what I'd like to know is, do you know of any way via a display that I could hit a button on my phone in a app and put the bike to road legal mode?

      The legal line is that some places dont allow class two wbike which runs without pwdal asisst. (Has a workong throttle). Just unplug your throttle cable to make it a class 1 ebike which is PAS only

    I like the way you think about setting it up. I personally set max speed in all PAS levels to 47. That gives me right around 70 RPM for my pedaling cadence. Which is right where I like to be. So the PAS levels will only determine how fast I get up to my preferred cadence. If you set all those speed settings to 100%, you would always be ghost pedaling, and it will not affect the throttle whatsoever. So I don’t know what that person was talking about. Just set throttle to be the same as PAS level nine and you will always have full power and speed from it.

    found out (after buying a used e-bike) that my bafang was can-bus .____.
    so after recieving lemons instead of UART i crafted a ghetto ''BESST TOOL'' and started screaming some mystical hex codes to my middrive (virtually).
    well.. my display tells me i have my wanted parameters (20'' instead of 28'' and *ahem* a bit over 25kmh) but this darmn thang aint movin past the 20's for loerrd sake. (fixing my sunhat whilechewing on some wheat)

    bro plz reply recently i buy 750w 48v with 25amp my battery have three green lights and 1 red im a working boy my ebike running very low km im using my bike on 2 or 3 speed sometime because of steep hills when i use some time the lcd says 50 40 and then 30% battery but when i check my battery manual the lights are two green with one red which is the last light bro what i do plz suggest me thanks

      man I cannot remotely debug bike issues just by guessing, plus it's not what I do, but I suspect a problem with your battery. try inspecting that, like using another battery to see if it's that. good luck

      @@LukeLorusso bro i check the other battery and the same issue i cant drive my all battery just only a high percent when i checked my battery life on its lights its all most 75% remains and the lcd of my bike say its 20% please if you suggest i bought this motor just this month

    I have set up the bbs02b on over 20 bikes.. The b at the end of bbso2B signifies the later controller that has PAS set as priority over the throttle.. The old bsbo2 had throttle priority over PAS.. This is why the bbso2b sucks balls.. When the system detects you turning the crack aka pedalling the throttle is disabled... WAIT! You will say no its not, it still works loser.. Yes it still works but only if you twist it to 100% anything less than full throttle is ignored.. Now.. The best way to set this controller up is CUT THE GREY PAS WIRE!! Get rid of the useless PAS,, the pedals are there for your leg power and should not be a system to add power to a bike,,, maybe on a 250w but that's it,, Make your bike throttle only!! You ride your bike like a bike man, then you twist in some VARIABLE POWER with the twist throttle or thumb throttle,,, NOW READ ON... You controller is 25amps right,, you PAS 1-3 or 1-5 or 1-9 depending on your display settings.. Set it to 1-9,, NOW what happens if it's on PAS 1 smart guy?? Then your throttle will have a variable sweep from 0 to 100% of around 3amps.. You can use that to just barely add power say after a long ride you need to get home and you just tap in a bit of power as you go,,, PAS 2 will be like 5amps PAS 3 say 7amps and so on.. You get the idea,, if you put PAS on 9 your throttle will be a variable controller from 0 to 100% of 25amps... You would be surprised on how little power you need to have fun.. In PAS 6 with you pumping the pedals as soon as you add some throttle ya jump to 35km right away.. You can simply click the PAS number up or down depending on your riding conditions and adjust the amps available to the throttle as you ride,... Your bike will feel so much more natural you won't ever want PAS again... Your drive will last way longer and your range will jump by 30%.. I've put over 25,000 km on a bbso2b and pulled it apart and it's still perfect, you just regrease it and maybe a bearing or 2... I could go more into the controller programing but you can research that... Look up "cut the grey PAS wire"

      or you could not cut wires like a moron and load a firmware on that gives u independant throttle usage, bbso2b flashing the firmware with daniel neilson firmware
