You had the perfect tank internal cleaner right there in camera, that clean driveway gravel, a couple of handfuls of that in the tank then shake, rattle and roll for about 15 minutes you would be surprised at the amount of dirt that comes out. Empty out the stones then apply the anti rust product to keep it clean. But of course too late now.
Run the engine exhaust into the tank that will get rid of all the explosive gasses. Sorted

Hey there long time no video I've missed them, now that you have spawned a miniature mechanic you need to spend a lot more time away from home working on the MKII to maintain your sanity, also not sure if i mentioned it before but I too have a channel 'jagvette1' which you may find interesting.
one other point I would like to make and maybe it's just me but the music is really annoying I'm sure I and some others missed a lot of your chat as I had to keep muting. (just a thought)
I agree! The music is about three times louder than the speaking! I'm watching this late at night and when the music comes on I have to turn it down to a normal volume, then when the speaking part comes back on I can't hear it. He's far from being the only one on UA-cam to have annoying music that's far too loud compared to the speech - surely it's not rocket science to get this level setting right? However, I did like the video and gave it a 'like', as I once owned a MK2, although some of the 'methods' in this video I wouldn't personally have gone along with.
could you please tell me what the plastic cylindrical bottle in the far right side of the engine compartment actually is? it has a pos and neg wire going to the top of the bottle--steering fluid? brake fluid? thank you
That's the brake fluid reservoir, it has a low level sensor which activates the hand brake warning light, those are the two wires you see coming out
