Can you for Rooney Mara or Joaquin Phoenix next?
Rooney is an infj❤
You should include some more clips of the person first before you start guessing the type. Makes more fun to watch when you can guess along 😊 great videos in general!
Best guess before seeing Eric's take... ENTP chaos-monkey, I imagine. LOTS of Ne and what looks like Fe (as opposed to the ENTP's fellow chaos-monkey/ENFP's Fi) to me. Let's see what Eric comes up with... 🤔
Yup. I agree, Eric. It's interesting to see people with the same functions as us (INTPs) who successfully interact with the world around them in ways which seem TOTALLY foreign to us. Life lessons. Even INTPs can learn to function socially. 👍
I grew up with xSFJ parents, and an ESTJ older sister... so I was the odd man out in most regards. Now that I'm fifty, my parents (particularly my ESFJ father) and I have a LOT more common ground... and after a few decades of struggle, I even get along with my sister (most of the time). I still struggle with high-Fi types, though (including my ENFP ex-wife), so I mostly avoid them.
Thanks for sharing! Props too for working on feeling stuff / improving with finding common ground! not easy. I'm going to be working on it for my whole life I think.
Hello Eric! Could you investigate personalities of world leaders and/or serial killers? Would be cool to see what superpowers these types of people have.
Thank you for this video❤ we hear these stereotypes and immediately box people into them. I unfortunately do it too often too. Eg. Entp loves to debate and play devils advocate constantly, infp is a big cry baby, intp is a gaming nerd jn their moms basement... It would be great if you could do a video on age, mental helth, culture, maturity, values, upbtinging, career and how it influences type. As you mention at 10:30. It would bring nuance to it❤
Can you please do Lady Gaga?
Please do Leonardo DiCaprio
Thanks for posting Eric! I like you how mentioned that Ryan Reynolds is more than his MBTI personality type. I also like the question you asked of how do our patterns show up when caring for others.
You simply MUST do Austin Butler next. Pretty Please. I'm too curious about his personality type.
YES
I really loved your one take vlog video and hearing you say you've thought about how you could do some extroverted things is so interesting. I relate too!
awww thanks for watching and the sweet comment!
I would love to see you analyze Brittany Murphys personality. She was always so interesting.
I always love your videos Eric! Thanks for sharing! Can't wait to give this one a watch. I just watched Vanity Fair's video of Anne Hathaway looking back on her iconic films, and throughout it she made some very interesting remarks that made me start to wonder what her personality type might be... Could be a fun one for you to try, especially since she has a new movie coming out next month? Just thought I'd throw it out there!
Please do Cate Blanchett!
I love your videos! I like how you dissected this and explained stuff. I'm terrible at typing and I'm not too fond of the sterotypes of mbti and may have even believed some of them when I started reading about MBTI. I love the maturity and clarity you bring into this. Especially that last part from 9:20. You've always been saying this.
Thanks, Eric! - An INFP.
Thanks so much @tee! The last part was my favorite part too... so glad you enjoyed. I think MBTI is most powerful & fun when we use it to learn about ourselves, appreciate other people and work on our blindspots...instead of just creating more limiting labels & stereotypes by accident...
@@EricWen Yes and yes! I send your videos to some of my friends who have been hurt by MBTI and now kind of avoid it so they don't feel useless and/or not pretty. XD I know it is odd but the wrong way of looking at MBTI totally does that.
@@teenikel7697 100%. It’s something I’m very frustrated by and have seen too and hope my videos and small community can help with a little! Sorry to hear about your friends and their bad experience! That’s horrible!
Thank you again, Eric! (Btw, I am INFP and you're INTP. So not very alike but I totally feel you on that quiet extreme frustration brewing inside me when there is a huge majority of people walking around with a very set in stone kind of misunderstanding about something and I know they are wrong. But unlike you, I kind of just stew in it for a long time because I'm too quiet in some circles and then I snap at someone for no reason).@@EricWen
Barry Keoghan next please😢
Fe + Ne is such a killer mix 😍
And what is your mbti type?
@@shane1948he’s ENFP
I (INFJ) find ENTPs fascinating. They're so naturally charismatic.
ENFP! wen-approved.@@shane1948
Great video!! Love your conent :))
Can you do Austin Butler next? :D
New subscriber 🔥
I love your videos ❤
Good Job! 100% correct about ENTP
I knew it! As an INFJ I can always sniff out a Ne dom.
Can you please do Finneas? A lot of people say he's enfp or infp, but looking at his interviews recently, I think he's some type of tj cuz he actually has a ton of extraverted thinking.
I always felt that Ryan was an NE dom, since he always seems to be jumping from topic to topic in interviews, and it's fantastic to have this theory confirmed. His wife Blake Lively is also a fellow NE dom, being an ENFP.
Blake Lively seems more like an ESFJ imo
don't think blake is Ne
@@hatterene39347 I'm not super-familiar with Blake Lively, but I get strong Fe vibes from her. I'd've guessed xSFJ or xNFJ, although I could easily be wrong. ENFPs can be great at mimicking other types... often without even realizing it... but Blake tends to identify as a "homebody," and that's not a typical ENFP trait.
enfp?? im sure she uses si/ne but as a long time fan of hers i am not at all convinced she is a ne dom
Thank you! I am sending this to my sister whom I think is ENTP.
Please do Ricky Gervais, the dude was phenomenal when he hosted the Golden Globes 😆
for the love of god PLEASE DO RENEÉ RAP!!! she's absolutely OUTRAGEOUS LMAO super unhinged, no filter at all. everyone around her in an interview always ends up wheezing from laughter. one of them said, which is terribly accurate (non-verbatim): "talking with reneé is like being on a train and you have no idea where the fuck you're going. and then you think that this is your stop but it's NOT." she just starred in the 2024 musical remake of mean girls, which she also performed in broadway for! ❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve actually analyzed her! It’s a little more advanced but if you want to see it’s here :)

oh my gosh i’m so sorry i conpletely missef that! thank you so much! you do amazing work :D
Would you consider doing Trent Reznor? The guy is a modern musical genius and fascinating to listen to. He’s very complex. Would love to see you cover him!
Can you please do Jules Leblanc or Jacob tremblay next? I’ve heard people think Jules is an esfj which I could see but I’m not really sure about what she is yet. Jacob on the other hand, I’m for sure confident that he’s an isfp
Hey Eric
Could you do an analysis of Miley Cyrus next?
I'm really impressed by her individuality and can't quite pinpoint it
Can you please do one for Jake Gyllenhaal???
How about Freddie Highmore who plays Shaun Murphy in The Good Doctor? I think he is a bit tricky to type
Please do Jason Momoa next
He's ESFP
Can you do Maddie Ziegler. There’s such a divide in the personality community.
Can you please do one for Kurt Cobain? :)
React a personality type of Any Gabrielly Now United
How do I know whether my Ne is dominant or tertiary? I'm stuck between ESxJs and ENxPs. I love plying with new ideas. I'm a daydreamer who have almost caused a car accident because of being so scatter-brained. But my Si seems to be very strong too. I'm very sentimental and concerned about my own comfort, sudden changes in the physical world can make me panic a lot
You could also potentially be a INXP type. Especially if you feel you got a natural balance between Ne-Si. With the ESXJ/ENXP type, you should also consider what judging functions you relate to more. Consider what your dominant & inferior functions. Should help narrow down.
I'm an INTP and I am confident in my typing. But nowadays I would probably come across as an ENTP at face value given that I have worked on my inferior function: Fe over the years
Good question! I can't fully answer in a comment but I'd say three things!
1) Lots of the things you mentioned are behaviors / traits that can show up or feel relatable to lots of different personalities. Lots of types can feel sentimental or stressed out by changes. Same with feeling scatter brained or daydreaming.
Myers Briggs as a framework likes describing people's cognition & natural wiring preferences, not external behavior. It's more about the "why" behind the behavior, not the behavior itself.
The order of the functions is more about our relationship to using that function compared to others. Not if we *sometimes* use it or relate to it, or the literal frequency of use...but more about how those functions work all together for you. How much you naturally might lean / trust / rely on that function over others, and how that can create stress-points / blindspots...
Basically - it's possible you might sometimes be using Ne / Si...but how you use it or relate to it big picture is what makes the difference. The differences are much easier to see talking with people directly and looking at more real life examples. Since it's a more advanced topic, it's not very easy to figure out by mentally approximating what it's like for other people....
2) I believe in the Ryan Reynolds livestream on my Membership site, we discussed some differences between ESJ's and ENxP's and how their relationship to Ne is super different.
3) tbh if you want to make your life easier, I'd just focus on dichotomies first before jumping into functions. I think if you just focused on J vs P & N vs S and seeing examples of what those preferences look like, you'd find the answer a bit easier. That's what a lot of the workshops Zee and I do focus on, and it's usually what helps people out the most.
Trust me, you know if your an ENTP. I’m an ENTP and it’s absolutely maddening
Do a personality type check on chris evans
Can you do one on jake gynllenhaal too while were at it? Smth about him is a little weird 😂
Also do ian hecox of smosh too plzzzz?
Can you do Caitlin Clark next?
Can you type Hozier? I think he might be INFP or INFJ. I maybe wrong though.
Hello Eric!! I came on here to make a specific request: I would love to see a video on the UA-camr named Jade Bowler (Unjaded Jade) as her personality seems to be quite developed, multifaceted, and interesting! I think there is some excellent content for you to work with in this endeavor, and I hope you will take it on because I think it would be fun and interesting for you, and I know it would be for me! I would be the first to click on such a video. :)
Ok, I hope you are well and take good care. ❤️🌱 Blessings:)
Jim the office character analysis
aways wondered about his type.
Can you do Shawn Mendes personality type?
Can you analyze Robert Greene? I'm still not sure if he is INTJ or INFP
I see him as istj
Do Melissa Barrera next please?
Can you analyze Kristen Stewart? I still don't know if she is ISTP, INTP or INFP
How does his Fi polr manifest?
Do Bruno mars next🙏🏽
Can you do a video on F1 driver carlos sainz
Hello, thanks for your videos are really very good (sorry for my english). Can you make about Elon Musk or Henry Cavill. thank you
can we get an Eminem analysis next please
Eric, I have a sugestion for personality analysist which is faker (pro gamer) lol. Maybe many gamers know him. People keep voting him as INTP OR ISTP. Will grateful if you do it.
Can u do david bowie plzzzz 😇
So basically he's Chandler Bing
His strategy is very simple: be a chameleon. He reads each room and ensures not to offend any one. It's called people pleasing and it's functions in his life at his own expense. In the moment he abandons his fundamental moral values and feelings in order to ensure no one feels uncomfortable. He loves to discuss ideas as away to avoid addressing the unforgiving gravity of the matters going on in his actual life. He uses real facts about himself mainly as the bud of the jokes that he makes in a way to release anxiety all while the essence of the trivial conflicts he faces fly over everyone heads. He is a man who needs spiritual intervention.
Austin Butler please
I think you should do Andrew tate , I’m very interested in what you have to say about his personality type
What changed your mind about making a video for him?
At first i wasn’t as into making another entp video and didn’t find the soundbytes particularly exciting or clear to talk about…but then I realized I had some other things I was genuinely excited to talk about if I approached it from a different direction.
Curious if anyone felt a difference 🤷♂️ I wanna mix up what I talk about and explain more on this channel…bring in more personal examples / reflection, and focus on having fun growing, connecting with and appreciating different types of people with MBTI instead of just 100% focusing on the puzzling thru a celebrities type. Even if it doesn’t always translate to as many views, it’s what I’m more personally interested in and excited about these days
@@EricWenWell, for what it’s worth, it’s probably good to try a change.
@@EricWen I honestly like it because you have uploaded a month schedule (when you just analyse their personality type it feels very distant). Like these personal reflection 👍
@@EricWen I like how you brought in personal examples. I was able to identify with them. I used to be so in my head all the time when I was younger and was always in awe of more extroverted, spontaneous people. Now that I'm older I'm more well-rounded and am now very comfortable speaking and behaving more spontaneously. It's actually really fun and people seem to really like it too. I'm an INTJ.
Thank you!
Can we get John Cena next?
Ariana
COULD YOU PLEASE SO KENDRICK LAMAR AND DRAKE NEEEEXXXT PLEAAAASEEE LOL
Can we get Ksi please🎉
I did a video on him for Members if you wanted to check it out, it’s on my website :)
ENFP most likely. Maybe ENTP.
He always seems like an ENTP.
dude you mistyped him. I agree with you on the Ne-Si axis. but he is clearly Fi-Te. he is ENFP. the same happened withTom Hiddleston. there it was the opposiste. Tom was clearly Ti-Fe but you typed him to have Fi-Te. clearly there is a confusion there. let me convince you. Ryan has no Fe because he does not compromise his authenticity, Fi-values for the people around him. He rather asserts his personal values.
I disagree with this. Ti users also assert their personal values. My husband is an ESTP (Se-Ti-Fe-Ni) and he doesn't compromise his authenticity either, as a Ti user he is blunt in expressing his values and doesn't care about what people think of him for expressing said values. There's a misunderstanding that I've seen a lot that if someone has unapologetic values it means they use Fi, and if they are "fake" and compromising they are automatically Fe users, and that's just not the case.
@@abitterwind Ti is an analytical personal logical framework, while Fi is Personal emotional framework or personal values.. coz values come from an emotional space. So I disagree with you too 🙂🙂
@@TerrorTeller-uv2fl How does all this relate to "no Fe = no compromise of one's authenticity" and Fe = compromising one's authencity ?
Also, according to what you're saying, Fi = personal emotional framework or personal values, you are saying that only Fi users have personal values... So ISFJs to say an example don't have personal values, neither do ESFJs, INFJs, ENFJs, ESTPs, ISTPs, and so on....
I observe in the world that everyone has personal values, everyone, Ti is also about personal values. Ask an ISTP "what are your personal values?" and they will answer. They might or might not value the same things as an INFP for example, but they still have personal values and are authentic to themselves.
Not compromising one's authenticity also comes with maturity and age, life experience, learning, and so on. People are more nuanced.
@@abitterwind this is great! Intresting conversation 🙂. Fe and Ti exists in an axis. And Fi-Te is another axis. So my point is that Fe users uphold collective values and consciously control personal values as they believe personal values can be a hindrance when it comes to maintaining collective social values. Therefore they come across as inauthentic. Well ISTPs and INTPs being Ti doms, they are highly rational. They use their logical frameworks of right and wrong. And occasionally accept some social values as Fe is their 4th cognitive function. Well they Clearly don't have personal values, coz having them is not a Ti rational thing to do.
@@abitterwind Interesting Conversation! Well I think it depends on how we define personal values. Coz both Ti doms and Fi doms have strong personal frameworks. But both are different as in Ti is a stack of personal logic, while Fi is a stack of personal likes and dislikes. Fe comes across as inauthentic because Fe is all about collective social values and not personal values
He controls his wife. He married younger so he could control her. She feels suffocated
