it's why he had to build a pc cause he was using a mac, kinda like using IE to download chrome

I was in walmart a while back and they had a PC builder section in it, not a lot of variety but the components they had were decent
Austin: Run and Guns in Valorant.
Ken: This hurts so much. How are you getting away with all of this?
Me: Tries to run and gun, dies 20 times. It does hurt so much...
Wait, Austin actually buys all the parts each time?! I thought he just went the Linus path of keeping and reusing parts.
unlike Linus, Austin doesn't have hundreds if not thousands of pc components
Austin doesn't usually make PC's just for fun or like no reason most of them are used in other videos like if you saw the first broke vs pro he used the sleeper pc or sent to the client like the military pc or the basketball pc
@@Jay_khimji You’d figure that Austin would at least keep and reuse the review samples he gets, especially for CPUs, particularly since he doesn’t have the budget Linus does.
@@faroukalkhateeb We don’t know what happens to most of the PCs, so it was a fairly safe and logical assumption that they were disassembled. If he gave them all away, I’m sure we’d know, one way or the other, so I’m now assuming they have a warehouse with PCs to bring up for comparison later?

I have that exact PC and graphics card, it runs pretty well. Just gotta upgrade it slightly, like adding more ram and it works like a charm. Plus, in most games, you'd be running low graphics for better performance.

I got a pre build with an i7 9700k rtx 2080 super by trading my Hp Omen laptop ryzen 7 4800h Gtx 1660 ti that I bought for 600. You just have to be on the marketplace a lot to look for good deals.

I've had an amd rx 580 nitro 8gb for about 3 years. Bought it late but its pretty good. I can run all latest games on high without any problems. It's supported by upgraded ram and cpu also. Good card! Btw the price back then was about £260 brand new.
Iv been using a pre built pc from best buy for about a year and it has been a great gaming experience. No issues with it whatsoever. Highly recommend 👍
Do a video where you ask different best buy staffs on what part of the pc they reccomend for you and you build it up together
I came from LMG, can't believe I have not had any of your vids as suggested vids from youtube, given I watch gamers nexus, hardware unboxed and many others daily!
i finally went to microcenter for the first time a few months ago to get a gpu since online retailers were still struggling to hold stock and scalping. apparently that location has been there since 2011 and i did not know. granted it was an hour away. all i gotta say is, damn, microcenter is awesome. its a haven for pc builders. its the ONLY store you should shop at to build a legit rig the right way. they literally have everything. they have an entire aisle for custom water cooling loops for goodness sake. its crazy. and the desk in that area has a cool spreadsheet kinda program(like pc part picker) that they cna pick parts for you based on your budget to build the best bang for the buck. just be sure to let them know what resolution you plan on gaming in so they dont recommend something like a 13900k for 4k gaming that would be a waste of money.
I just built a new gaming pc this week. Using PC part picker, I found that BestBuy had the best price for a few things. The i7 12700k, Corsair 4000 airflow case, and WD black PCI gen4 m.2 were at unbeatable prices. The rest I got off amazon (scored a aorus geforce rtx 3070 for $405) basically because the prices were the same as others like Newegg and amazon's return policy is kick ass. So do your research and never try to build a PC from one store... Unless its a microcenter location... cant beat their price match guarantee lol.
The rx580 is very surprising. I keep one as a back up. It's just a good workhorse gpu. It still holds up today. If you're playing at 1080 it will sustain 60fps all day on almost every game.
Best Buy Blue Shirt secret, they teach us to rely on the app. I always used it to fact check so I wouldn’t hand off the wrong info but memorized most of it. Also with all the inter-department work, we only have our own inventory and layout memorized well. Otherwise it’s an awkward talk when “oh we TOTALLY have that, follow me” to “wait someone bought the last one an hour ago?? I work in phones and routers…”
Oh that’s intriguing, it makes a lot of sense as well you could see on inventory and tell the customer.
I’m glad your doing this I need to build one
This makes me feel good about my £1100 RTX 3070 build. Seeing the market get this expensive.
How the hell did you manage that 😅
@@butterfly_boy99 hahahaha I built my whole pc back in October using an RX 5700xt when prices weren't bad. Then I sold my 5700xt for £400 and managed to buy a gigabyte rtx 3070 gaming oc for £600 after a month of trying lol
Ironically that's the same prebuilt PC I ended up getting because I was going to build one but after seeing the prices of things, I decided to just get that. It's honestly not bad especially after throwing a 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB kit in there and getting rid of the 8GB stick that came with it. It's honestly not a bad value for this particular system tbh. Especially when you're coming from a Phenom II x6 and a GTX 960 (2GB).
"Today I have a simple challenge, to buy every single component I need to build a gaming PC-"
This much alone was enough to make it a challenge lmao

@Austin Evans fake Austin Evan’s
Right now building a pc regardless of where you get the parts is a pain in the butt. It is just so hard to get some parts. That being said in the past I have built a pc mostly using parts from best buy and it worked out just fine. Only issue I had was the best buys in my area tend to not carry motherboards in the stores. Given the choice though I would rather go to microcenter or just order it all from newegg. The down side is microcenter is like 2 hours away from me in Detriot so you waste a day getting parts and its stressfull with all the traffic and what not. The upside is you can build your computer that night and not have to wait for the stuff to be delievered.
A week ago I bought that same prebuilt, it was my first pc gamer, it worked quite well.
@Green Hawk I have that exact build in the video also. My advice is to upgrade it slowly. You MUST BUY 16 GB of ram when you get it though or you will have terrible performance issues later. Just remove the stick it has and get 2 new ones. Besides that, it will work like a charm. I've had it for a year and a half now, no issues, I run most games on low graphics anyways since I prefer performance over looks. I've played games like Metro Exodus, Call of Duty, almost all the Assassins Creeds, GTA V, Rainbow Six, and it can run a lot more. It runs great.
ONLY ISSUE: Mine would get really hot, just heat my room up like a damn oven.
So recently, I replaced the CPU cooler with a Corsair iCue H100i Elite Capellix, and move the original intake fans to the top of the PC as exhaust fans, so it's been cooled down lately but you don't need to do all that just yet, it will run with the stock fans it comes with. Just keep in mind for the future if you wanted too!
Note: If you are going to make upgrades to it later, just know the manufactures LOVED making an absolute mess in the back, so gonna need to untangle wires and learn what goes where.
A video where austin makes good decisions and doesn't let ken near anything🤔

As an ex employee from Best buy piece of advice never pick ship to home when you see that the item is delivered by best buy directly as they didn't even ship it one employee out of shift attempts to deliver it but sometimes the time is not appropriate or some other times they say they have delivered but actually never does, that is known as a BBYGD order, and also never request a sign on deliver when it is a bbygd as what it does is that if there is no one to sign for it, they just return it to BBY cancel the order and refund you.
If you decided to purchase on BBY online the best option is to pick up at the store or get it ship to home by an external carrier such as Fedex (NEVER USE UPS as this packages always seems to get lose) also if you do use an external carrier, never choose to have a sign at deliver as sometimes employees from the carrier fake the sign take the product and best buy cannot refund you nor sent you a replacement, you need to follow up with the carrier directly or with the police instead which is basically time and money lost...
Also reach to a BBY employee sometimes they do have stock at store but not for in store purchase but for an in store shipping order that orders are known as 1121 orders that are the ones coming from the store directly or by the phone.
Hit me up for more BBY tips and tricks hahaha

Current machine has a 1TB SSD, RTX 2070 Super GPU, Intel i7-10750H CPU, 144hz Monitor, 32GB Ram, and came with Windows Pro.
