I'm also from NY and NY pizza is my favorite. This is THE BEST pizza dough recipe I've found for NY style pizza. It must sit in the fridge for at least 24hrs to ferment. I do the full 3 days, Its amazing. It has to be made in the food processor. Its from Cook's Illustrated. 3 cups (16½ ounces) bread flour 2 tablespoons organic sugar ½ teaspoon instant or rapid-rise yeast 1⅓ cup ice water 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1½ teaspoons salt * BEFORE YOU BEGIN It is important to use ice water in the dough to prevent it from overheating while it's in the food processor. INSTRUCTIONS Pulse flour, sugar, and yeast in food processor until combined, about 5 pulses. With processor running, slowly add ice water and process until dough is just combined and no dry flour remains, about 10 seconds. Let dough rest for 10 minutes. Add oil and salt to dough and process until dough forms satiny, sticky ball that clears sides of bowl, 30 to 60 seconds. Transfer dough to lightly oiled counter and knead by hand to form smooth, round ball, about 30 seconds. Place dough seam side down in lightly greased large bowl or container, cover tightly with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 24 hours or up to 3 days.

Horsetooth Fall was one of my favorite places to hike. It’s so pretty. The Major Melon Mt Dew tasted like watermelon pucker to me 😂, I haven’t tried the zero sugar one though.

When you said your vice was diet soda I officially clicked subscribe 😂 People say that all the vegan meat is to transition to vegan then whole food. I'm interested in vegan protein foods but more straight up plant based rather than the beyond meat. I can have it as a treat 1x or 2xweek but more than that bothers my stomach 🙁 I'm still finding it hard to find info on high protein plants sources
The shoes are by Xero Shoes! It's an older model of the DayLite hiking boots. They're kinda like barefoot shoes so I use them on easier hikes but I use my Merrells for anything really rocky. And the watch is the Garmin Forerunner 645! Haha you might be thinking about Julien Solomita? A lot of people have mentioned that Eric reminds them of him. 😂
Try Trader Joe's Salsa Verde lathered generously on a buttered Just Egg, Gardein sausage and Chao Cheese breakfast sandwich and you'll thank me later. I saw another vegan UA-camr buying ten jars of the Salsa Verde and now I understand why. I never would have bought that otherwise and it adds so much flavor to things like this. You'll never want to be without it. :)

I agree re: beyond meat. Beyond tastes like a microwaved gas station burger to me whereas Impossible tastes char-grilled. I know some people feel the opposite way though. Taste buds are so unique 😂

13:23 I found a different solution for my sweet tooth - I just eat a small bite of sth sweet after every meal ;D Like a piece of chocolate, a day, a dried fig etc. Satisfying but not overwhelmingly indulgent so I can have a dessert 3 times a day (sometimes the las one being more special than that, sometimes not, depending on what I feel like)
The Ben n Jerrys Karamel Sutra Core is THE best ice cream everrrrrr...I always think its a good thing they dont make half gallon sized because id eat the whole thing!!! LOL
Funny Bones are the Bomb @ericames! I loved them! I also miss Peanut Butter Tasty Cakes and Berger Cookies but I'm a Baltimore Girl so it's expected to miss those hometown faves

Food was amazing but unfortunately I am never going to try Beyond Meat products because the products that are available in the UK i think are overpriced £5.00 for 2 burgers which is £2.50 per burger that's too much for my budget. If they bring down the price to £2.00 per burger i would be willing to pay that. I think depending on the products, brand and retailer vegan processed junk foods can be expensive so i focus on a vegan WFPB diet.

I've tried that avocado ice cream brand! I thought the Mint Chocolate Chip flavor was good. You can still taste the avocado a little, so it's not going to taste exactly like soy-based or dairy-based ice cream.
