After two years of isolation, finally I a chance to travel with my good friend Lois. We got a chance to visit San Francisco, Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area. Lots of great meals in the city centers and if you venture out just a bit further, the meals and buffets get even better.
On a Sunday afternoon, we ventured out to Campbell California because we heard there was a spectacular seafood and steak buffet. It certainly met and exceeded our expectations. Great drinks, cocktails, and a fantastic selection for buffet items and made to order items. The buffet begins in the dinning room and spans into the kitchen where you can see the chefs hard at work preparing decadent items such as exquisite caviar puffs, fresh scallop crudo, and extravagant bits topped with shaved truffles.
And then there are the meats...where does one begin...
prime rib? probably one of the best I've had!
porchetta? they have that too; crispy on the outside with luscious melt in your mouth goodness on the inside.
And just when you think you're done, their desserts are second to none. Just make sure you save room! Thank you so much for joining Lois and I on this wonderful excursion and finding what I think is the Bay Area's best buffet!

This is one of my favourite dinner restaurants, we haven't been for brunch yet, but after seeing this, we'll be in! The restaurant is a beautiful, elegant space, but absolutely comfortable and inviting - it's not stuffy or over the top. One of the best restaurants in the South Bay. And service is impeccable.

Hi Tim and Lois...another job well done 👍...everything always looks so scrumptious...a little steep for brunch, but all the truffle and caviar you can eat, guess it was worth it 😉...loved the outdoor seating as well as the interior of the dining room...loved how they presented all the food in small vessels...very pleasant staff, very clean, etc....glad you both enjoyed yourselves...safe travels and God Bless 😘🤗💙

It’s awesome to see you have your friend Lois joining you for this nice buffet in California. My 2 cousins and their family live in San Francisco. I’m going to ask them whether or not they have been to this buffet with prime rib and porchetta and the seafood. Brunch buffet don’t usually have such great food. You and Lois are so fortunate to be traveling from Florida across the country to California, and eating at these amazing buffets.

Generally, we found that things are more expensive in San Francisco area than in the Florida, Texas area. Still a very good trip. Thank you again and all the best to you and yours 🙂
Campbell is a city that's about 50 miles from SF to the south. It's nearly totally surrounded by San Jose with parts that border Los Gatos to the east, which in reality is south due to the layout of California

Very elegant as buffets go.Well thought-out dishes,sophisticated presentation of food with California fresh vibe.Campbell is a very upscale and pretty Silicon Valley town.Birthplace of e-bay! Residents can afford this brunch!

This is 3 miles away from my house. It's my go-to for special occasions or when I have out-of-town guests I want to impress (ha!), but I've never tried their buffet. I'm surprised no one's mentioned that it's owned by Michelin-star chef Jeffrey Stout, who's a culinary genius. If you find its price range too steep, visit its sister Orchard City Kitchen in the same complex. Food at both places are extraordinary and very flavorful!

Great to hear your traveling! If you do get a chance to visit, I got a chance to try a pupusa for the very first time... Highly recommend it and it was at a place called panchitas in mission, SF. A humble place serving up really amazing food

Our family just got back from this buffet after Tim convinced us after watching this video and it was so good! Definitely a splurge meal for a special event but I thought worth the price. While true they don't do crab legs or lobster tails like other similar priced seafood buffets, the quality of each of their dishes were a lot higher than standard seafood buffets IMO and our server, Serene, was wonderful. We mentioned Tim's UA-cam video to the host who sat us and he said since this video had come out, they've had a good number of people bring it up as their reason for coming lol.

Oh Pat, that was probably the best porchetta I've ever had.. it was a bit sneaky because they don't present it at the buffet, you have to ask for it and they'll cut you a slice in the back... And well worth it 😋
Good tip for American buffets. Sausages tend to have a lot more filler than Canada. U.S. sausages taste like sawdust and have little meat protein. So skip those since they will fill you up, just like bread, pasta, rice, soup, and egg noodles.

The coldest Winter I have spent was the Summer in San Fran! Loved the waterfront but hated the smelly seals.
Your videos are improving, am enjoying this SF one. I had to laugh when you praised the porchetta as combining both pork and ham, or the best of two animals.....

I’m in the Orange County area, Southern California area. Hope you travel here someday
Price is now $110 + 5% service charge (which is not tip). We went recently and the buffet is great and service is excellent. They also had 2 types of shucked, raw oysters when we went and 1 was excellent. Overall, it's still a bit overpriced, but we'll be back on special occasions.
A agree with your assessment! I was thinking the same thing.. While it was a bit lower when I went, I thought it was pricy but still thought it was a worthwhile brunch... Really enjoyed it, but didn't like the price as much ;-)

wow! this buffet look so fantastic! nicely presented with nice ambiance. since no crab leg i would have killed all those scallops! $100 per person for this buffet looks worth it cuz of quality.

I had such a chuckle...as soon as Jesus began cutting the prime rib, I said to myself, "Tim is going to ask for a fatty cut." And you didn't disappoint! Enjoyed the video and the food tour...but that price...Ouch! Thanks again for taking us along.
Hey Michael, we did find many things in the Bay area to be a bit on the pricier side.. I recall fueling up the car at over $6 a gallon was a bit of a shock. Very nice experience though... But definitely a pricey one 😉

I didn’t find San Francisco was very good overall for food but an all you can eat place I discovered with heavy research was Goat Hill Pizza. I believe it’s Mondays but they have like 5 or 6 different kinds of pizza pies and they walk around the tables with it and you can take a slice if you want, sort of like the Brazilian steakhouses. Cost $19.75. It’s higher quality pizza compared to a chain pizza buffet.
It's so funny when you compliment the vegetable dishes but quickly move on from them 😊..I would do the same.
The name of the restaurant is a play on the Italian word bistecca, which means beef steak. The food looked amazing. Thank you for sharing this video.

You know i love your videos.. but, if we (or your friend) enjoy buffets a little too much, its ok to lovingly tell a friend that everyone should have their “A1C” tested. it is super easy with a blood test. it will tell you if you are pre diabetic or even diabetic then, if you are obese or even chunky, you can lower that by cutting carbs and starches but still enjoy a buffet. this post is out of love, because no one else wants to address this situation. i had to push for an a1c test and get my hubby one as well, and we were both prediabetic. so, i made changes and we are heading to the healthier range but still enjoying good food, just not all the sugar, carbs and starches. I hope you share this with her, as it may save her life. blame it on me, just one of your happy customers on youtube that cares.

It's a fine upscale buffet, but the best SFBA AYCE bang for buck is Los Moles with multiple locations.
High priced A.Y.C.E. "steak" brunch. A much better bang for your AYCE steak buck is any Brazilian steakhouse. The one in nearby Cupertino is $46 for lunch and $67 for dinner - both All You Can Eat. Much more selection to choose from and just as tasty.
