I remember going to look at new pickups with my dad in 75. We looked at all the makes. He bought a Ford F-250 high boy. That's when pickups were small trucks, not cars with boxes.

Cool, back in the mid 70s the F250 4x4 was the best selling truck in the 4 wheel drive market (not the best selling car though), based on test drive articles I read about the F250s.

I had the J4000, it was a year older than this one, it had the old round tail lights and chains to hold the tailgate. It was a 1972 and a half Gladiator on the title. The inside was a little different too. I sure miss that but I sure love my 2021 Willy's!

I drove many of the AMC.jeeps.you won't find a better work horse especially the 360 4 barrel I realy liked the AMC jeep.way better than Chryslers version.the Chrysler versions are nice but way to complicated now to much junk.on them now
