We take a brief "Walk-a-Round" a Rare Upcoming Project...
1972 Jeep J4000 4X4 Truck. The style is a Gladiator.
This rare truck has been in storage for about 20 Years. It has a Factory V8 Engine, Automatic Transmission, 4 Wheel Drive and upgraded Trim Level.
It has a very rare Factory Front Winch is a power take off unit from the transmission.

Reminds me of my Uncle Norman's 1971 J-4000 although his had a 350 V8 ( Buick ) engine with 4-speed manual low transmission. Great transmission , lousy engine. He went through 2 of them !

I have the 1971 J4000 Gladiator long bed. Bought in 1992 from a camper dealership in Co Spgs 76,000 miles.. Mine is all original. Brown with white steel wheels, white factory bumpers, 360 Daughntless v8, 4spd I had trans rebuilt, factory suspension has my truck with a slightly taller stance. All glass original no cracks in the windshield lightly driven. Interior is all original. Back in the late 1990s I met a guy in Colorado parting out a 1971 j4000. When I got his farm he had the same jeep winch bumper as in the video and a perfect condition white AMC Jeep topper with the red and blue AMC logo on 2 sides. I bought the topper and winch. He had chrome bumpers on his but my truck was factory white steel so I passed on the bumpers. Over the years I've had many offers. Can't let it go....

I inherited my great grandpa's 72 j4000 with a 258 only 14k original miles original everything very minimal rust how much would you guys charge on a round about price to do a off frame restore

Nice! I want to put mine up for sale now. Same color is this one just way better condition in and out. Same options also with the 360 but mine has the 4 speed manual transmission. 72 J2000.
What do you think mine is worth? Would be a great help so I can list it for sale. I can’t find any for sale here in California
